Excellent location, very clean and comfortable , well equipped apartment. Within walking distance of many lovely bars, restaurants, a supermarket, and lovely beaches.

Just thought the furnishing were a little tired, curtains and some furniture but it was extremely clean and very comfortable. Would definitely book it again. The staff were also so kind friendly and very helpful.

I give this property 100% rating..I book our stay there after reading other reviews.and was at an other property that wasn’t giving us value for our money.. first time in Barbados and trust me I will be going back on a vacation. And sure will stay at Monteray Hotel.. rooms clean comfortable.staffs welcoming..will be telling my friends about this place

Friendly staff, incredibly clean rooms, the apartment is within walking distance of amazing restaurants, clubs and beaches, with an amazing little coffee shop right next door. The apartments are simplistic but very comfortable with everything you need and lots of storage space (as 2 women travelling together this was a huge bonus). The pool is small but if you're not after anything extravagant then this is a fantastic option. The balconies are a great size and catch the sun all day. The Aircon is just brilliant. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Barbados on a budget. Would not recommend if you are looking for a place with lots of facilities for young children, but definitely for those who just want a relaxing getaway with plenty of night life

Bright, clean and welcoming. Very comfortable beds, good shower. Ground floor with patio...excellent. Whilst only used on-site restaurant twice, comforting to know its there.

Very accessible and comfortable. Lots of space and storage cupboards. Lovely outside seating area overlooking the garden. Lovely shower.

The sunbeds were a bit old and could do with cushions. The kitchen was a bit old could do with up dating. Would have preferred a electric kettle.

I loved staying here. Rooms are well equipped for self catering. A small supermarket close by. Beaches close by and a short walk to The Gap which meant it was nice and quiet. Staff very helpful and the property had all I needed!

Clean, warm welcoming staff, location was everything. Dover beach across the street. Great food steps away from my room. Buses close by.

There was nothing to not like. This hotel is not fancy but comfortable and clean. That's what I need.

Good location, near to amenities but also tucked away so was nice and quiet. Also had lots of storage space in the room, and the outdoor area was great for chilling!

Only issue was weak water pressure in the en suite shower

Staff at property are lovely, super friendly and helpful providing lots of info on the island - how to get about, transport etc. Felt safe and relaxed. Apartment is well equipped with kitchen appliances (cooker, kettle, coffee machine, toaster, fridge freezer) iron, iron board, hair dryer. Cleaned daily with fresh towels. Excellent location located at the bottom of St Lawerence gap. Walking distance to bars, restaurants, beach and bus stop.

Nothing. We booked this property on a budget to make a trip to Barbados affordable. Not after luxury or all inclusive as we like eating out and exploring spending as little time as possible in apartment. Monterey exceeded our expectations.

Great location and is very spacious!

Soap, bath gel in the shower, no cleaning supplies in the kitchen, had to ask for dish soap and a scrubby pad. Wifi a bit trying in the kitchen area/
