This is our second stay at this hotel. We love it. Fabulous location. A nice quiet area but still close enough to the centre. We chose the rooms with a canal view where you can wave to all the passing tour boats and get that waterside feel. The room was comfy and bed perfect for us. The shower is fab. Our room was quite cold but this was quickly rectified by reception, which is manned in the day. We would suggest taking a travel kettle and some tea bags if you are a brit! We missed our tea. There is a supermarket just along from the hotel, (turn left as you leave), for milk. We would also suggest taking a hair dryer and change for the vending machine. The gentleman on reception could not have been more helpful, welcoming and lovely. He was a joy. All the staff were friendly, especially the breakfast girls who always had a smile and a greeting. General info. I have some mobility problems and use a stick. Bruges as a medieval town has lots of cobbled streets and as it was Christmas there were lots of people. This made mobility tricky for me at times. We feel that a wheelchair user might find things difficult as access to most places are not designed for the disabled. The shuttle bus stops right outside the hotel. For walking the easiest and prettiest route to town is to cross the road from the hotel and follow the canal path to the fish market. Also just across the road is the Molenpoort restaurant which does absolutely delicious food and coffee. Thank you for a lovely stay in beautiful Bruges ♡

The property was ideally situated for us, a short walk from the centre of brugge but far enough away to be quiet in the evening. Our room was fairly small but was big enough for our weeks stay, had a very comfortable bed & a good size bathroom with a walk in shower. The breakfast was continental style & exactly what we had expected it to be. All the staff were friendly & approachable, there were always clean towels available throughout the week & Charles on reception was always happy & willing to help & advise on the local area & transport system. We would stay again.

The week we stayed was particularly hot & there is no air conditioning, so we did have 1 fairly uncomfortable night

Location is great, close to everything, a bus stops right outside the hotel door. Free bus too. You can walk to the train station in 15 minutes. Breakfast is good. Staff are friendly. Rooms are all different. That was our 4th stay, good communication from the hotel, letting us know there was an event close by and the music might be a bit loud. Self check in, very easy.

No complaints really but no tea/coffee in rooms, or hairdryer you have to pay for each as an extra, get from reception, personally I would rather have the cost added into the room price already and have the basics in the room! But it was not a problem, rooms could do with a bit of an up date, but are clean and comfy

The hotel location was ideal as it was a 5-10 minute straight foward walk the main square. Situated meant a nice view greeted us when pulling back the curtains on a morning. Next door a quaint antique shop provided us with curious browsing and further up the street a nice selection of shops including cafes, a supermarket, record shops and second hand shops tended to our 'local' retail therapy. The room was spacious, tidy and nicely laid out, with exposed brickwork and beads giving the room a rustic decor. The continental breakfast was pleasant, with salami, ham, boiled egg, croissants, fresh bread, pancakes and cereal keeping us satisfied until lunch.

There's nothing major to note as our stay in the hotel was very pleasant. If we're being picky it would have been nice to have had tea, coffee and a kettle in the room.

Clean, good size room, great shower. Great location. Breakfast was good.

The room was freezing, temperature was set to 19 degrees but it didn’t feel anywhere near 19 degrees and if you wanted the heating up more you had to pay €50 a day.

the facilities in the room were a little odd. you have to pay extra to have a hair drier and extra pillows, which came to a supprise when we had paid extra to stay in the junior suite, most hotels provive hair drying facilities without charging, so i really did not understand why extra pillows and a hair drier did not come as standard. There was no fridge within the room which would have been nice, a few cracked tiles in the bathroom which should really be rectified for the price of a junior suite.

The honeymoon suite is exceptional! Very nicely decorated, cosy and with an amazing view- we wished we could have stayed longer! The room was clean, and overall the hotel has a very modern arrangement, located in a quiet area that is around seven minutes by foot from the center. It is the perfect value for money:)

Surprisingly, although there was handsoap in the bathroom there was no shampoo/ body wash in the shower which was a bit inconvenient. Also, considering the grade of the hotel the breakfast was a bit underwhelming (but nice nevertheless). Finally, during out visit the hotel was doing construction on the roof, so there was scaffolding that could potentially block the view. Thankfully that was not the case for the honeymoon suite, but a partial refund or discount would have been appreciated (especially when you book a hotel that its main selling point is the view).

The location was great, just a 5 minute walk to the main square. The room was perfect, huge bed and great decoration. Breakfast was good and the girl who was there was very sweet.

We were informed that there were no receptionists in the hotel except from 10-12 in the morning. We got clear instructions to check-in, but I tried contacting them through booking about a change in our schedule and also requesting a hairdryer (which they offered in the instructions) and no one ever answered. I couldn't dry my hair and it was cold outside :( Anyways, you have an emergency phone in the lobby if something happens.

Check in was easy, staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent - crepes, cold cuts, fresh breads, boiled eggs, etc., with a kind lady caring for it all. Rooms are clean and spacious. There is a lift! Hotel is a cute combo of modern and historic. Perfect area to walk the town.

As is usual in Europe, there is no A/C and no screens on the windows - being warm out, we had to leave the windows open and, being directly on a canal, were eaten alive by mosquitos overnight. We had 2 rooms and the one on the first floor had 2 tiny windows, so no breeze. You cannot take breakfast to go so we had to forego it on our last day as we had an early train and no time to sit down. I'd love access to a fridge!

The accommodation was close to everything, its on the canal so great views and its within walking distance to the markets, polite staff, good breakfast , lots of choices, clean accommodation, comfy bed. Free bus if required to the station, good bus service too.

No door on our bathroom it had been removed as there were steps and people were missing them due to the door. So alternative needs to be sorted, we didn't mind too much as we've been together a very long time. But prior notice and an option to have a bathroom with some privacy would have been good.
