Fun, quirky decor with lots of cinema and music references. Very cool concept of mixing hostel and hotel rooms. Very comfortable beds, excellent attention to details, helpful and friendly staff. Having free coffee and tea available all day is appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

Breakfast fell below our expectations. It wasn't bad, it was a standard hotel breakfast, but it just wasn't on par with the above-average atmosphere and decor.

Excellent location, close to the train station and to the water, plus within walking distance of the main areas of interest for tourism; friendly and helpful staff; the bunk beds with their own curtains feel quite private. They even give you earplugs, which is a lovely plus.

Having reception close at 11pm was a little tight for me, personally, as I was arriving late. Also the ventilation in the shower area was low, which made the shower room feel damp. (That doesn't affect the sleeping area, though, and it might be because I arrived late - many people probably used the shower since the last cleaning.)

Very good location. The underground parking is bright and large. There are sockets in the luggage boxes, which is convenient for leaving devices to charge. The shelf above your head is also very convenient. Thick curtains give a sense of privacy. The bathroom is simple, but clean and tidy. Large shared kitchen with everything you need. There are many cameras everywhere and everywhere access is only by keys and this instills a feeling of safety.

The room is very stuffy, poorly ventilated. The lighting in the bathroom is very weak. Most likely this is part of the design, but there is absolutely not enough light for shaving. The common areas are closed at night.

Fantastic room with fully equipped kitchen and a lovely big window that opened up to let in fresh air. Very comfortable bed and a huge amount of storage. The free tea and coffee was great as was the sitting area in the lobby which we used each evening for drinks or takeaway. It's perfectly located near the train station and a short walk from the centre of town and the convention centre.

Only a minor issue but housekeeping was a bit hit and miss. We stayed for 7 nights and sometimes the room was fully cleaned but a few days the rubbish in the kitchen left or the kitchen wasn't cleaned. Also, there is a sign that says to leave towels on the rail if you want to reuse them but ours were changed everyday even if they were hung neatly back on the rail.

ideal location for solo travellers, especially for the Formula 1 weekend. very aesthetic, and fancy hostel/hotel. complimentary free teas and coffees, lovely lounge and cinema room to keep you busy. nice rooftop bar and lounge for your sunny evenings. safe rooms, lockers and keys just for your own stuff. 2 minutes walk away from a main train station and bus routes.

even though it was a lovely hostel, it was a little pricey for having to share a space.. i got a bed alone, and it was quite expensive, not including any breakfasts or dinners etc. you’d expect that type of price for a single room…

I spent a fair amount of time at the YUST in Liege ant I have nothing but the hidhest compliments for the staff (both reception and maintenance) and the facility. The coffee corner is both a brilliant and welcome facility provided for the visitors comfort. The location can't be beat! The YUST Liege is my chosen "home away from home" in the city of Liege. Well done!! The staff are impressive in their pleasant demeanors and incredible fluency in virtually every major European language. Under the management of Sarah and Marge the YUST Liege has provided me with a stay to remember!!!

Absolutely nothing not to like!!!! Clean facility, well maintained, within a stones throw of the main train station, Liege-Guillemins and easily accessible to all main sites in Liege!

Nice hostel. The position is perfect (close to the central station). Close to the station the bus stop provides lots of buses to reach the city center. The hostel is clean and the bed are really comfortable and big. The curtain close to the bed provide a good privacy. In the kitchen there is a useful big fridge. The bathroom inside the bedroom is clean. The space on the ground floor is perfect for studying or working.

The kitchen is not particularly well equipped.

The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, which made navigating a new city on my own much easier. The hostel itself was impressively well-equipped and clean, offering all the essentials for a comfortable stay. Conveniently situated in the heart of the city, I found it easy to explore and discover new places on foot or by public transportation. Overall, for solo travelers seeking a budget-friendly option without compromising on quality, this hostel is a top pick. I had a fantastic experience and would happily return.

Sure, there was a bit of noise from time to time, but that's to be expected in a bustling hostel environment.

The facilities were very good for the price paid. There were nice common areas, kitchen, laundry, fitness room, tea and coffee and even books. The rooms design also allowed good privacy and comfort.

The rooms themselves didn't have much facilities to sit other than in the bed. There was only one chair and desk for 8 people. I also didn't get the breakfast because it seemed expensive for what it was- specially as a vegan, paying 18 euros for a few options would have been a lot.

The YUST Liege was an excellently run hotel. Central to the city - with parking (albeit at slightly extra cost) if required in very safe location. Incredibly comfy beds. Was given upgrade to room with kitchen facilities - though did not have opportunity to use. USB charging available in rooms. Free coffee and water available and nice atmosphere in the lounge/reception where you could drink it. Was a great base for my few days - travelling to Germany for the day (only 5 mins from station) and exploring Liege.

No complaints at all!
