Daisy in reception was SO lovely. Check in was easy and she kindly helped with any of my questions. The room was basic, as expected but the bathroom was nice and big and it was a really comfortable sleep! Really great position- 5 min walk to the fortress one direction, 1 min walk the other direction for the start of the street full of cafes, shops and restaurants.

Nice hotel in the very center of the old town with its beautiful flair. The fortress is 5min by foot. Room was quite big, comfortable bed and clean bathroom. Friendly and helpful staff.

From the train station you need to take a bus or taxi. Supermarkets (not the mini ones) are a bit far on the other end of Tarnovo, but managable.

Excellent location! Hosts are super nice, provided directions for parking and a very nice room with air conditioning which is a must during your summer stay! Great view from the balcony to drink your morning coffee. The bed is super comfortable, we slept like babies!

The location is great, which was the most important thing for us for this trip. The rooms are spacious. You can get free tea and coffee 24/7. Overall, we had a positive experience and I would stay here again.

I didn't realize that there was only one blanket when we checked in so on the first night I didn't sleep well. I was going to ask for another one in the morning but there was nobody at the reception the entire day. Maybe it was because of the holiday. In retrospect, I should've tried to call the lady who was at the reception when we checked in. She was super friendly and sweet but then disappeared for two days until our checkout :D Moral of the story - get your blanket needs covered before you leave to explore the city. Also, the headboard of the bed is framed with some styrofoamy decoration that makes a squeaky sound when you move. Not the end of the world at all but it takes some getting used to. Lastly, finding parking can be difficult but it's not the property's fault, just the nature of the city.

Excellent location, close to main attractions, and a decent place for dinner and a good cafe nearby. The room was well furnished and clean, with comfortable furniture, plenty of space and a modern bathroom. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. There was a drinks machine in the lobby dispensing free tea and coffee. There was also an espresso coffee machine at reception where you can buy a cup of espresso if the receptionist happens to be available in the morning, which in my case unfortunately didn't happen.

Unfortunately the room overlooked the road which is very busy until very late in the night and into the early hours. This wouldn't be so much of a problem if you want to keep the windows shut and use the air conditioning. Reception isn't manned continuously.

The room was on the last floor with a street view - above the bed deck, which made it very noisy. The room temperature was pretty low and no chance to switch on the heater. There was an AC in front of the bed,yet, if turned on it was blowing straight in your face.
