Due to some technical issues, we were switched to a sister hotel, Penh House Hotel located around 1 minute away from Jungle Addition. Penh House Hotel was superb. We stayed for an initial 3 nights and then re-booked for one additional night later in our trip during a brief return to PP (cancelling another booking made with a hotel already known to us). Friendly team, smooth check-in and check-out, nice rooftop pool and excellent breakfast with coffee on demand :) The rooms were clean and well-appointed whilst the bathrooms were very modern and came supplied with a super range of Bodia toiletries (exotically tropical herbal gels, shampoo etc). The location is great. A 10-minute walk to the riverside and the BKK Street 51 area and just 1 minute from the trendy Street 240 boutique zone. Even less by tuk-tuk, of course.

The only minor complaint would be an uncomfortable pillow (this is a very personal matter and so it would be unfair to mark down the hotel only for this!).

This hotel should be called Jungle Oasis! In the middle of the business of Phnom Phen, the trees and garden of this property are a wonderful oasis. We loved our suite (it was our honeymoon), we didn't hear any noise whatsoever during day or night, and the breakfast was so generous! It included all types of options for you to combine/choose from. The 'chocolatine' which is a chocolate croissant was yummy. Sebastian (General Mgr) recommended places to go including his favourite French bakery and a Dinner cruise.

We'd go back to this hotel in a heartbeat. My only small recommendation for management is that the beautiful pool seemed a little high in chlorine (we weren't using goggles).

This really does feel like an oasis in the middle of a busy city. It is located on a quiet side street, with some good eating options very close by. The pool is shaded, so quite cold in December, but will be a bonus in the hotter months of the year. There is well tended greenery around the whole place. There was a good breakfast selection. We didn't eat in the restaurant as it was shut 2 out of the 3 days we were staying. This wasn't a problem with some good places to eat near by. The room was a good size, a great shower with hot water on demand, and complementary Bodia spa toiletries. There was a kettle, and TV with many films available. It isn't the cheapest place in Phnom Penh, but you get what you pay for, it was very reasonable for the quality of the place. The managers and staff were friendly and attentive.

Beautiful property, surrounded by trees. Swimming pool was very nice! Breakfast was also very good.

We would have liked some more help / advice about how to get to our next location. The only options they seemed to know about was booking online (which for our location was not possible) or hiring a driver (very expensive!). Since we had just arrived in Cambodia, a bit more travel know-how would have been very much appreciated.

Loved the architecture of the hotel, it is very beautiful and nicely renovated with high quality appliances and materials. The staff was very nice and the breakfast very good. We really liked that you can order only what you need, so the food waste is reduced! The hotel is in a quiet street but you can walk to the royal palace and other sights. Also, the owners have the cutest dog! Our daughter is still missing him 🥰

The pool was much colder than we expected (and we're used to in other hotels in Cambodia) our daughter who loves swimming couldn't enjoy it because she couldn't stand more than 10 minutes in the water. Loved the breakfast ordering but they forgot at least one item every day, which wasn't a big deal, but something they can improve:)

Beautiful hotel just a few minutes walk to the Royal Palace and Silver Pagoda. The grounds of the hotel are beautiful with lots of plants and trees. We enjoyed swimming in the pool in the afternoon after a day of sightseeing. Hotel provides guests with a bottle of water upon arrival which can be refilled from a water cooler in the hotel’s office. Great way to cut down on plastic bottles. Our room was nicely decorated, clean, spacious and had air conditioning! It was on the ground floor but away from the pool area, very quiet and private. We enjoyed having coffee or a glass of wine on the little sitting area in front of our room. The managers of the hotel were friendly and helpful. Loved their little dog! Recommend lunch at Sophath, right around the corner from the hotel. Their Beef Pho was some of the best we had in Cambodia. Although a bit touristy, also enjoyed Dave’s Homemade Noodles (15 minute walk) and Mama Wong’s Noodle House (10 minute walk). Don’t miss the Toul Sleng Genocide Museum.

Breakfast was okay. Not bad, but nothing spectacular.

Just as on the photos, piece of jungle in the city. Beautiful, relaxing, great pool, staff, food!!! The breakfast was exceptional. Great hosts, helped with our entire trip in Cambodia, even though our stay at Jungle Addition was the last stop on the list. So it seems of all the other accommodations, regardless this one seemed the biggest fullest, only here the hosts found time to give us phone numbers, answer questions and basically help prior our visit with them without getting anything out of it except for our deep and honest appreciation!!! We chatted on facebook, and they arrange pick up for us, for 21,30 pm. Then we said we could be late, ending up being early, so they immediately change the time for our pick up and our driver was waiting for us, just on time!!! Want to mention the logo design, of the hotel, the bath shampoo and conditioner. Simple yet beautiful, will catch any eye with an admiration for aesthetics. So this way I read the label and it seems all of the bath accessories were with essential oils. So I used them all, they really smelled like a spa,massage

Nothing. Just keep the good vibe going, and it the hosts keep such good eyes on the details, this place will always thrive!!!

We stayed 2 nights in transit through Phnom Penh. The owners and staff were friendly & warm & communicated everything clearly. Our stay was very smooth, everything worked, making our stay comfortable. We stayed in the standard room which was a decent size, quiet and clean with housekeeping on request. The king size bed was very comfortable with a duvet. There was just enough storage for our clothes in the wardrobe with a safe, and a minibar. We appreciated the cold Cambodia bottled beer with reasonable minibar prices. The AC and ceiling fan worked well- and the room was well insulated so the temperature remained cool even after turning off the AC for several hours on a hot day. The bathroom also was a decent size, with hot rain shower, nice shampoo, conditioner, soaps and decent linens. The breakfast was a generous portion with lots of variety from Asian fried rice to western option, as well as fruit salad. Croissants, crepes and coffee were very good. It was nice that the restaurant and bar was pretty much open all day, so we could hang out by the pool and have refreshments. We enjoyed swimming during the hot days. The pool was maintained each morning, set in a pretty garden. We loved the quiet private boutique setting of the hotel, and the lovely people that run it. There is also a security guard on site which gives the place a safe feeling. We liked this area of Phnom Penh. The hotel is in walking distance to lots of restaurants and bar options, and local minimart is less than 10 min walk away through the park.

There was some electrical problem at this property so we were moved to their sister property (Penh House) on the same street without hassle. The room was spacious and relaxing. I really liked the couch nook area and the climbing plants outside. The breakfast was pretty good too. Would definitely stay here again.

I just wish that there was better labeling for the foods. I'm vegetarian so when the rice porridge had surprise chicken in it one morning I wasn't too happy.

The room was large, spacious and clean, feeling very luxurious and comfortable - the bathroom had luxury, boutique products for us to use. Breakfast was copious and delicious, and served fast by their charming staff. The location was perfect for our needs - very close to the Palace and other sites we wanted to see in Phnom Penh. Being able to also use the facilities at their sister hotel Penh House around the corner was a great touch. Finally the staff were exceptional, and very helpful with our late check-in and arranging for our bus transport when we checked out. Highly recommend.

Only minor fault was an occasional odour from the drains in the bathroom, which is of course no fault of the hotel and a larger issue with drainage / plumbing in Cambodia. Hotel may want to consider air fresheners for the bathroom.
