The room was great, we had a corner room so roomy and bright.
We paid $25.00 per night (3 nights) for parking. When we came back to the hotel on our second night, the parkade had a sign saying it was full. When I went to the front desk, I was told there was a concert? Not sure what that had to do with my parking spot being double booked? I was told to try and park outside on the street. I was not happy. As it turned out, when I went back to my truck, the parkade door opened and someone was leaving. I took his spot. I feel that if a parking spot has been paid for by a guest, it shouldn't be able to be paid for again by a person attending a concert.

We are regulars and continue to be very impressed with Edmonton Coast Plaza. Most notable are the staff (Sophia at reception; dining room staff are excellent (friendly and efficient). We didn’t meet up with Marilyn or Caroline from the dining room this time, however, we know that they continue to support guests very efficiently! It is hard to beat Coast Plaza for location as it is in the heart of downtown for dining, entertainment and shopping. We have many trips to the UofA hospital and find this hotel to provide easy access over 109 st bridge and back over 105th street.
All is good!

Have stayed here several times now, and will continue to book at the Coast Edmonton Plaza in the future. The rooms are exactly as advertised, very clean and with comfortable beds. The staff are courteous and helpful, and parking is on par with other spots in the downtown area. There are a variety of dining options within a block or two, and overall, I enjoyed my stay here. Oh, and if you like a bidet, this hotel has some nice ones!
The only nitpicky issue I had was a clothing iron that didn't work properly. It wasn't essential to my plans, so I didn't contact the front desk for a new one, otherwise I'm sure they would have replaced it.

Parking was good as long as you don't have a big truck. Very great location to go to a hockey game or explore Jasper Ave. Dinner at the hotel was decent and they were very accomodating for kids. Pool area was great, we had it to ourselves.
Grates in steam room could be replaced. Black-out blinds had holes in them from washing but they're getting changed out soon and we were offered a discount because of it. Worst part was that previous occupant had set a 6am alarm that woke up our family of 5 at 6am after a bit of a rought sleep (just due to our 1 year old not settling well in her playpen, beds were very comfortable). There was 0% chance of getting everyone back down again.

Pricing good rooms / very clean / staff very quick to provide room requests / we were attending a major dance event competing.
Brochure listed steam room/ hot tub / pool / which made us choose them over others for 3 days 2 nite stay. The hot tub was broken no heat. Steam room was broken. Pool had lots of kids in it so not a great time using it. Talked with manager he said they are resetting equipment and it will be going in 1/2 hr....he said this for each day..never fixed. Found out from some staff that these items are been n/w for over a week.😕

Everything was perfect. Smooth check-in/Check-out . Beautiful Lobby. Indoor Parking. Rooms were immaculate with great views. Bidets installed in all the rooms. Comfy beds. I never got to go swimming but I'm confident that it would of been a great experience. The staff were so helpful and friendly. Got an extra late check-out which was awesome! Great location. Good bang for your buck.
Honestly. I don't think I would change anything about this hotel. It's probably the nicest places I've stayed at in Edmonton. I'll definitely be staying here again and recommending to my family and friends.

Great location in an interesting and vibrant part of downtown Edmonton - you're only a block away from restaurants, bars, and even a regular farmer's market. Check-in was easy, the lobby was lovely, and the rooms were spacious with incredibly comfortable beds. Also, I wouldn't have picked this as a plus going in, but the bidet with a heated seat was definitely a bonus!
Nothing actually negative here - the shower was a bit basic, and the hotel restaurant buffet breakfast was good but not quite up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. Didn't use the parking, but it seems like it was on par with other downtown Edmonton hotels in terms of costs.

I asked for a quiet room away from pets and they gave that to us. Breakfast was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Parkade was easy to get in and out of.
We had people come in beside and across from our room that were loud and noisy and fighting, banging doors. Police were called and then it all settled down within 15 min. Nothing the hotel can do about unruly guests, nothing one can predict and it was handled well.

Nice size rooms! Beds were not the most comfortable. Great location for our stay.
The restaurant was not the most convenient. Staff were amazing but the hours and lack of a buffet made it a challenge. Last time we stayed they offered buffet but wasn’t an option even though told there was going to be. The restaurant didn’t open till 7 and it wasn’t very convenient when having to leave by 7:40. Earlier opening would benefit sport teams .

Close enough to the convention centre where I was attending a conference - walkable and easy access to public transit to get to the airport. Also some nice eateries close by. Loved the fact that the farmers market was on Saturday and the street one over.
Very dark in the lounge/waiting area. There are unfortunately homeless people around but they leave you alone for the most part.
