IHG hotels usually offers the best value and experience for guests stay. Holiday Inn which we stayed was one of the awesome accommodation. Not only the cleanliness and good ambiance but most important for me was the staff/employees are trained and pleasant to guests. Never failed. Special mention to those breakfast area ladies. For me, it’s always a great morning if staffs greeted me a genuine good morning with a smile… This facility never failed in giving guests a warm stay. Aside from that, I love the Dove partnership for toiletries and shower items. Fur/pet friendly topped it all :)

Just a suggestion, we stayed in a 2 rooms (114/116) ground floor coz we have a mini schnauzer which were specific and selected rooms only for travellers with pet. It would be nice to have a shower towel hooks/rack inside the bathroom/s, and I suggest bathroom doors show open inward (push) not pull because main entrance door is pushed in, to avoid colliding doors when bathroom door is open and someone comes in from main door. Lastly, would be better to install exhaust fan on those rooms.

Upon entering, front desk staff was very friendly and lobby was clean and welcoming! We arrived early, and they accommodated us quickly and without us feeling like it was a bother! Breakfast was busy, but had great selection; Self-make pancake machine, toast, muffins, yogurt, bananas, omelets, scrambled eggs, hash browns, bacon, breakfast sausage and turkey sausage, hot oatmeal, muffins and cinnamon rolls. Staff was very friendly, and kept up as hot food was emptied by guests.

The pool was closed and partially emptied for cleaning, which would have been nice to have know, when I booked our stay. I should mention that I booked our stay that morning. Our child loves swimming, and we would have most likely booked somewhere else-as that was 1 of 3 of our preferences (breakfast, pool, pet friendly). When the pool did reopen, the water was way too cold for her to swim in.

Staff were very good. Continental breakfast was in a great space with a good array of food. Our room was quiet.

While the rooms seemed clean, some things are looking a bit worn. Although, at the time we were there they also seemed to be doing some minor renovations which maybe would be addressing some of the maintenance concerns going forward. I'm used to sleeping on a foam mattress. Their mattresses were springy. A bit noisier and a different feel that what I was used to. But I slept fine in general.

Swimming pool was very nice, room was nice, shower was good, bed was good, parking is good, breakfast was good and the staff were tops, very nice and helpful, very pleasant.

Sanding of the ice covered parking lot could be better, and I speak from experience as we do a lot of snow and ice removal and lot sanding. Please consider putting hash browns back on the breakfast menu as the beans are getting tiresome, lol. Thank you.

All the staff were excellent from the front desk to cleaning staff to any staff member you happened to meet in passing. But in particular, the breakfast staff, especially Mach, were exceptional!! And the breakfast was great too. Very friendly and attentive service.

Our room faced the busy highway and there was a lot of road noise throughout the night. Renovations on other floors were noisy on the one weekday we were there during the day. Price was too high given the above. Vent in bathroom didn’t work.

Location was ideal, 15 minutes from the airport as I was in town to pick up my fiance. Hotel was clean, quiet, our room was very spacious. Shower pressure was amazing, and my lady was very impressed with Dove products available in the bathroom. Now we come to the king sized bed. It was one of the comfiest we've slept in. Absolutely incredible sleep

Staff were very understanding, made everything go easy, No Obstacles , really PEOPLE MAKE THE DIFFERENCE

No thing and even if there was something, I will ignore it because of the exceptional experience I got from the staff Unlike the other experience I got from the Holiday inn -calgary near the airport-the staff and the manager were the worst I’ve ever met in IHG group Thanks Holiday inn Edmonton and hope IHG will transfer your experience to the other branch near Calgary airport

Room size, value for the dollar, location, swimming pool, good selection for hot breakfast, amazing staff all throughout, comfortable bed, and last but not least, nice shower.

It's not anything bad, but I was just wondering if there's any way possible to add fabric softener to the towel laundry, towels are always nice and clean but they are a bit rough to the touch on ones gentile areas, lol.😁

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Everything was clean, even if the room could have used some updating, it was well maintained and clean. The area was conveniently located to all shopping centers and restaurants. Breakfast was fresh, coffee was hot. Any requests we made were fulfilled immediately.

Beds were good, but not very soft. The fold out couch was very springy, but could be worse. The furniture was a bit worn, but comfortable overall. Eggs served for breakfast were terrible one day and tasty the next.

The room was nice and quiet. Tons of parking.

We had an accident that resulted in a comforter getting wet. When we asked for a new comforter, we were told housekeeping was gone for the day and asked to use a mattress pad. So we had to sleep with a mattress pad as a blanket… not the best way to end an 8hr day of driving.
