Great location overlooking the beach with sea views from the balcony.Good sized room,no frills but comfortable .The kitchenette was convenient for light meals. A baking sheet would be useful for heating things in the oven.Value for money.

Check in was chaotic,we were 45 minutes early which I did acknowledge.We were begrudgingly allowed to check in early but I did not feel welcomed,more like an inconvenience.No explanation given about the need to request housekeeping,the focus was all about signing the disclaimer not to cook with seafood or spices.Definite smell of smoke in the office which wafted up to our room

The staff were amazing! The front desk clerk took the time to explain everything to us and ensured we were happy before going to our room. The room was extremely clean, with A/C on upon arrival, and spa music playing. The pool was a perfect way to cool down and relax every day. (They have two options for pools as well). I had Happy Hour at the restaurant there, the staff was so friendly and the food and drinks were delicious and a great deal on price. Went back on our second night and they remembered us, which is such a good and welcoming feeling. We will be back for sure.

We loved our stay at the Sand Pebbles Inn. Stunning views from our room looking out over the bay ! Our room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and although the building is situated on the main road we hardly noticed the noise from the traffic. Sand Pebbles is ideally situated and only a short walk/drive into the town - uphill - and there are a couple of bars in either direction for food and/ or drink. All in all we'd thoroughly recommend Sand Pebbles Inn!

It would've been great to have been able to bbq.

Wow what a location, The outside of the building may need a little bit of a refresh but don't be fooled the inside of the rooms is lovely and as for the view well all I can say is WOW. The rooms are very spacious and well presented and equipped. The beds are very comfortable and the bathroom is very pleasant. The balcony is a true joy to just sit with a drink and watch the sea perfection.

Wifi seemed very weak but who cares with a view like that LOL.

Excellent location and beautiful views! Has everything you need in the kitchen. Excellent shower and pressure. Comfy bed and the ocean acts as the best natural white noise so we slept SO well! Loved the views and the accommodation was quiet and peaceful. Has a fan and we were there in a heatwave and the fan kept us cool enough. Nice to have a balcony and the views are honestly spectacular

Could do with sweeping the rooms a little more and the balcony. Under the table was food crumbs and the balcony just needed a good sweep. Could do with a sponge to do the washing up with. They provide everything else though. Possibly some cooking oil as well as if you’re just staying a few nights it’s wasteful to buy a huge oil.

Beautiful location on the ocean. There's a nice swimming beach a 5 minute walk. The room was perfect for a night and had everything we needed.

We arrived slightly early and asked if we could check in. The lady was really rude with her response. We didn't mind waiting but politeness goes a long way. When we got into the room the oven was on. Thank goodness we noticed very quickly. The kitchen definitely needs an upgrade. The blinds also didn't cover the full window so there was no privacy.

Amazing view looking out east & west from 2 doors, cozy inner courtyard, safe feel on property, friendly staff, loved toiletries!

Unfortunately our floors were so dirty our bare feet were totally BLACK!! It’s an older place, which is fine, but rooms, bathrooms & toiletries are very nice. So to neglect such an obvious thing as mopping the floors is really a shame & shocking these days with so many dangerous germs around (infection prevention is crucial). Also important - non-slip matts are really needed in the showers, they are very slippery & highly dangerous for falls, esp for the elderly. These are just a few really easy fixes to achieve top marks! 😊

All in all, it was great value for money. The office staff was really lovely and nice. If you had any questions, she was happy to help. It was an amazing view, and it's not too far away from the food and a short 2 minute drive or 21 minute walk to the centre of town.

On the first night, we had a little trouble with the door to our room. Office closes for the evening at 9 pm, so if you have any issues, there is no one to contact.

Perfect location! Wonderful sea view ... large room, plenty of space for a family. We did not have a room with a kitchenette, but the room still had a good size fridge & microwave. Bathroom was small, but looked like new ... Excellent value for money! Would highly recommend!

Only two minor issues ... I love a cup of tea in the mornings, there was no kettle or cups. There is a small coffee maker with coffee, whitener, tea bags & sugar provided. We were given paper cups after we asked reception for some ... Balconies seem to be a work in progress, hotel is still renovating a little after major storm damage from a King tide ... rooms are wonderful! Balconies have plywood down and when you sit down you loose the fantastic view ... having said that, you can sit in the courtyard area and enjoy the view, it would be nice to be able to do it from your room ... This is not an issue for ground floor rooms as they have a patio area ...

Room was like a little cottage. It had everything you need, but you could feel comfortable in there. Enjoyed it very much. Whenever I interacted with the staff they were polite and helpful. I will come back again in a heartbeat.

Beachy feel… Access to all points. Vancouver Island went to Nanaimo went to Comox went to Port Alberni really liked the cottage experience.
