The location of this hotel is perfect, easy to walk all over downtown and also to fisherman’s wharf. Lots of different restaurants around also. The rooms were cleaned everyday which we really appreciate, some places are saying that because of COVID they don’t do housekeeping which is unacceptable. Staff were very friendly, was sent a text after 2 days to see if we needed anything.

The bathroom is a little small, can’t be helped. Pool was nice, hot tub was warm one day next was fixed and at good temperature

This place is just amazing to stay with your pets…the hotel doesn’t even charge for the pets…the rooms were super clean & the staff is very friendly…We ask to pay for a towel for our pet to keep while checking out as we forgot one for her from home but they just gave us the towel for free of cost with a big smile!!! I really recommend the pet owners to stay at this amazing place where there are no charges for your pets & parking…& it’s just a few minutes to downtown…Really enjoyed my stay there with my family and pet in Victoria specially because of the amazing service of Days Inn staff….A big thanks from me & my family to the whole staff of Days inn for your exceptional service!!!!😊😊

we absolutely loved the location! Within walking distance of downtown and Fisherman’s Wharf, and a great view from our harbour facing room. The ferries to Port Angeles and Seattle were right in front of the hotel. The front of the hotel is a restaurant/bar, and served excellent food and beverages.

the fact that there is no air conditioning is definitely a problem. we had checked the weather forecast and because it was only going to 21c as a high each day, we thought we were going to be able to tolerate the lack of a/c, but our room was 28c! we never closed our window, but couldn’t get the air outside to cool the room. The fan in the room helped, but didn’t cool the room. The restaurant/bar owner has a 9% tax added to each bill! our waitress explained that he does that to cover his costs! 😡. noise from the bar can be a problem if you’re harbour facing.

Reception staff was very friendly and welcoming. The location cannot be better, and the room was comfortable enough for the price. Restaurant downstairs is good, too.

We were in a corner room, which was nice as it had windows on 2 sides, providing a good draft. Unfortunately a continuously running ventilation unit on the ground was located very close to our room and it was a bit noisy even for us on the 3rd floor.

it’s right on the harbour, almost next door to the parliament building. Our room was on the top floor overlooking the harbour. I’m not sure I would want a room facing inland though. Our room wasn’t massive, but they had made good use of the space - nice to have a small table and chairs next to the window - pity they don’t have balconies, but you can pay a lot more for that next door if you want. They don’t do breakfast, but that’s not an issue since you have a small kitchen area with cooker top, microwave, fridge, coffee maker and kettle. There is a good supermarket close by - Thrifty Foods. They have lots of free parking and a swimming pool. Staff were friendly and helpful.

From reading some of the reviews I was skeptical but I had a very pleasant stay. The bathrooms are small but its no big deal, everything was clean and thats my main concern. The temperature was in the 20s when we stayed and with the portable air conditioner they gave us and the window open it was very nice and not too hot. If your somebody that needs air con then this probably is not the place for you. It might get a big too hot in the midst of summer but I think its perfectly fine for the majority of the year.

All good. Staff took friendly care of our one extra request - heating up an item in the (front desk) microwave every morning since the room was without one (understandable). Room, view, facilities, location, staff, etc. all good. Ate most meals at Frankie's Modern Diner, which was ironically recommended to us when we checked in. Good recommendation, since we liked Frankie's and got some walking exercise first thing in the morning.

Doors - something needs to be done about the "fit" (door to door frame) of your room doors, and also, in our case, the bathroom door, which required a shoulder push to close properly. And it wasn't just our room door that behaved badly. We could occasionally hear nearby "bangs" from other rooms on the floor (2nd floor) when guests entered or left their rooms. On the plus side your room keys (cards) worked perfectly every time, something we've had trouble with in other hotels in Victoria.

fantastic location, restaurant and bar downstairs, liquor store next door, no need to leave the hotel for any meal. Food is great. Bar has happy hour on drinks and snacks every day. The ferry to Seattle across the street, shops a 10 minute scenic walk around the harbour. front desk is very helpful. I just had my fourth stay and won’t hesitate to book there again on my next visit.

no central air conditioning. they provide rotating fans in the room and the windows open but then you hear the noise from the street.

The staff were great and friendly. The harbour view was good. Very clean. Beds were very comfortable!

Studio rooms with kitchenette a little small for storage, unpacking etc. Also no air con. This was well advertised and we were told several times in advance. But air con would have been nice. It’s was 29degrees whilst we were visiting. In May. I didn’t think we’d need air con. I was wrong. Not the hotels fault.

Value for money here. By far the best for the price in the area. Clean, awesome location, great restaurant, easy parking. DO go to the restaurant downstairs. Service and food was excellent in a relaxed atmosphere. One of the top 3 Caesar salads of my life. Huge delicious breakfast.

Only downside is the fact that it has no A/C and I run hot. This also means having to leave the window open and if you want to enjoy the harbour view rooms this also means putting up with some noise.
