Yvonne in the office was excellent. She was extremely welcoming, helpful and informative before we arrived, even to the point of phoning a taxi company to find out how much it would cost to get there from the airport for me. She was also flexible and friendly about our early check-in, and cheerfully answered our many questions. It was a bonus to have the restaurant right on site, and although we were only able to have a light lunch there before leaving, the food was very good, the service was friendly and goods, and our meals were reasonably priced.

Only that it’s an older facility and that there’s not a lot of places to hang towels separately if there is more than one person staying in the room. A little traffic noise during the day, but quiet for sleeping at night.

Hotel very clean. Liked the rooms and the decor. Ate dinner in the evening and breakfast in the morning and the food and staff all excellent. Would definitely recommend the restaurant at the Chebucto Inn and the hotel we loved it.

Staff was very friendly, the room was very clean and tidy. The food was excellent and reasonably price. Would stay again .

Parking was a bit tight and my wife would have liked a pool.

Room size ok but a bit run down, however, beds are comfortable. We have great lunch and staffs are extremely friendly with excellent services.

Room needs update and carpet be changed out.

Bar service was good close to tim horton...provided semi truck parking next door ( canopy to low ) but got in next door (no trailer) staff friendly as usual and clean room...

Eveything was good for me, justa truck drivver cant go wrong well except port aux basques and think only bad review i ever given ( threw out paying truck driver had breakdown no transportation no where to sleep 1 night) pretty bad 150 a night plus food and bar tab to say sorry were booked and you have to leave...

Location was perfect for us. Nice place, clean, quiet, friendly staff. Restaurant was excellent. Couldn't ask for a better hotel and location.

Could have used a queen sized bed. The toilet was a little shorter than we're use to. Some of the tv channels were not available.

It was close to the highway and easy to get to. Everything was clean and maintained.

Room had to queen beds that were comfy, Restaurant was very reasonable for breakfast, lunch & dinner.

A/C didn’t work in one of the rooms -

Room was comfortable and clean. Parking was directly in front of our first floor room. Very convenient drive to Halifax Harbour. On-site staff 24 hours plus had a restaurant attached but unfortunately we did not have time to try it.
