Staff was very professional and pleasant. Room decor was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Although I was dissatisfied with two of the room service dishes, the FAH Baguette was very good.

There was insufficient light in the desk area. Only room service was available as the kitchen was being renovated. Two of the three items we ordered from the room service menu were not very good. The fusilli was sitting in a pool of oil and the cheese on the artisanal cheese tray was dried out. It would have been nice to have a night light in the bathroom so I could find my way there in the dark without waking my partner.

The rooms are clean and well taken care of. Could use some plugs in convenient places but it’s an old building so understandable. The property itself is beautiful and all the staff were wonderful.

It would have been nice to have the ability to get lunch or a snack during the week. The hotel is a little out of the way so if you don’t have a vehicle it makes it difficult. Would also be nice if the lounge was open passed 9 PM for a snack or a glass of wine. Being here for work the timing was all super inconvenient. Would also be nice to have the option to get a glass of wine room service.

The room was very spacious, very comfortable, and well-appointed as a standard room. Great, old-timey Dutch village vibe. Hotel felt unique in all the world.

1. There was heavy construction happening at the hotel which was INCREDIBLY noisy and distracting. 2. Many amenities were shut down as a result of the construction, like the main bar. 3. The hotel charged an up-front deposit, which made doing my expenses and itemizations a nightmare. 4. The TV only had antenna reception, not HD quality and very limited channel selection. 5. I recommend a modern smart TV where guests can log into their streaming apps.

Super friendly staff that do everything to make you comfortable. Even let me switch room because I was hoping for something brighter.

Nothing! I mean it is an older hotel so don’t expect those modern scando style decor. But still so much charm and very cozy. Bar is going thru Reno right now so room service was only available for breakfast and dinner and with a bit of a limited menu but still did the job if you’re like me and just like the idea of room service. For off hours, you’re still able to order from the billions amazing food options in the area through delivery apps.

Love the staff and the location. Staff and management are very nice. The rooms are very comfortable as well. It is a bit pricey especially when you need a second room to be able to accommodate 4 people, and breakfast would have been extra, but it is worth it to me. We had a suite this time as well as a regular room and that gave us a nice living room area where we could all relax together. I like being in the west end close to Bloor St shops, and also a nice area to be able to take a stroll in nature.

Hotel and room were wonderful. Large bathroom. Very quiet.

You have to take breakfast and dinner in your room. There is no dining room in which to meet your friends. The weather was very cold, but even if we had wanted to go out to walk somewhere for lunch, there are no restaurants or shops nearby. That can also be nice, but the hotel had nothing to eat outside the breakfast and dinner hours - such as snacks - anything.

Charming and beautiful hotel with a great location. Even though it is a little further from downtown, it was really easy to get the subway in from the green and yellow lines, and easy to get to and from the airport. The area is quiet, but the hotel is round the corner to the subway and bus station, and you can walk or take the subway along the green line along Bloor St West to restaurants (Jane, Runnymede, High Park or Ossington stations). Our room was spacious and comfortable, and included everything you would need in a hotel room (coffee machine, hairdryer, toiletries etc). We slept well and would definitely be back if we visited Toronto again. Highly recommended!

It was a shame that the bar was only open from 5pm-9pm, as we were still out in the city during this time. The only dining options were room service which we didn't opt for.

Very solid and pretty non-chain property. Lovely staff. Good west end location. Nespresso machine in room. Free underground parking across the street. It is a much nicer place to stay than a hotel chain by the airport.

A full breakfast is pretty pricey so we just had the coffee in the room and went to a cafe for breakfast. Probably could have just had some side dishes for breakfast room service and that would have been fine though.

The hotel is in a great location, although quite a way from Downtown Toronto. There is a subway/metro station about 500 metres away and a short pleasant walk. Frank at the station extremely helpful with the ticket buying. We were in a garden view room, but it was quite overgrown and restricted view, but quiet. Basil on the front desk was also extremely helpful... nothing "Fawlty" about this Basil, forgive the pun. One of the lifts was out of action and wait times for the one remaining were sometimes quite long due to wedding parties on the floors above. The room was superb and well laid out, everything you need including a jacuzzi. There is a restaurant right next to the Old Mill and has the same name but they are apparantly not the same company, that's what we were told, it could not be put on our bill anyway. Overall a superb locatrion and hotel, would stay there again without hesitation.

Only one lift, wait times were sometimes quite long... over 5 minutes. Athough we were told the restaurant was nothing to do with the hotel, the service there was very slow waited 25 minutes to be served and well on our second glass of free water by the time we were attended. Said something about confusion?

Away from busy center yet very close to subway station, 30 min to the center. Located in quiet green area with beautiful walking trails along the Humber river.  The hotel building is located on the cite of historic Old Mill with the same style. Big and quiet room with classic design. Comfortable bed. Good housekeeping. Environmentally friendly. The front desk staff are all good in terms of being helpful, welcoming and polite.  But one of them, Joe, was very friendly and always ready to help as you expect from such a hotel. Thank you Joe for making our stay more comfortable. The hotel has only one restaurant/bar but with exceptionally good and professional bartenders, Astrit and Giacomo. Many special thanks to Astrit for making our stay more pleasant and enjoyable.
