Not fancy, but the hotel delivers at a fair price in comfort, quiet, and access to the waterfront and some of the best restaurants. Easy walk to the main plaza and other restaurants. Great for people on adventure travel: birding, trekking, wildlife.

Better coffee. The espresso machines don't deliver the flavor and aroma needed to start the day. But this is a widespread issue.

It’s one of the main hotels in punta arenas and it has all you need. Breakfast is good and the staff is always at your disposal. Amazing service when I had to extend my stay for one extra day and my luggage was left there from Antarctica

Perhaps the structure is a bit old

Average buffet breakfast and coffee (grain/percolator or in automated machine) barely palatable. Rooms are nice and clean, beds and linens comfy. Management has made some efforts to modernize (nice and efficient plumbing fixtures in washroom) but furniture seems dated.

Location, location, location. Got a room with sea view and did not disappoint. A bit loud however, but the view is worth it. Staff is very friendly and place is very clean in general.

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful when trying to book excursions. The room was clean spacious and comfortable. Breakfast had a good selection however the coffee machines were not working on both mornings but instant coffee was available. The hotel was well situated to explore the area.

Comfortable, warms room and cosy, good internet connectivity. Nicest rooms are seaward facing (if you can get them!).

Winter, always a tad chilly in Punta Arenas, especially with flurries of snow and temperature at minus2C. The dining room is cavernous and a bit too cold, given there are no doors to prevent wider air circulation.

My wife left her glasses at the hotel and when we came back a week later they were at the reception.

Very old and dirty carpets. The hotel maids are very noisy in the mornings talking to each other personally and thru the radios. If you try to sleep a little later, you will not be able to.

Nice hotel, well positioned close to downtown. Decent breakfast!

Front road is very noisy and we had to request moving to the back! Also beware that the restaurant water is just from the tap (not indicated) and we caught big bacterial problems!

Breakfast was excellent and opened nice and early. Room was spacious and well equipped. Staff helpful.

Restaurant on a couple of nights had a restricted menu - not many people staying as off season.

I loved the location, right on the Punta Arenas waterfront - good birding and very scenic! The staff were friendly and very helpful, assisting us with our multiple bookings and helping us print out critical documents for travel within Chile. I appreciated the in-house restaurant, both for breakfast and dinner. Having coffee and tea available outside dining hours was also much appreciated.
