comfortable hotel in the center of Santiago de Chile. Safe, in a nice neighborhood. Clean and very...American in every way. :)

breakfasts were actually yesterday's sandwich with cheese and ham, instant coffee and the cheapest yogurt, left in the fridge the day before. :( no vegetarian option and not tasty at all... there was no open swimming pool due to the time of year (although it was 30 degrees outside...), and this was one of my search criteria. on the second day our bed was taken away. we were supposed to have a room with two single beds, I confirmed that, and we had one queen bed...

The standard apartment is a normal hotel-like room with a small kitchenette with micro and refrigerator. The loft has a living area with a kitchenette and the bed is on a loft inside the room itself. Beds are comfortable to sleep. It's a very quiet environment with money exchange, pharmacy and supermarket at walking distance. For the fun lovers night clubs are also very close. Restaurants and pubs are also at walkable distances. Plaza de aramas is a 10 minute walk from the apartment.

Standard rooms are provided with an evening snack everyday. The problem is, it's the same all days. There's no house keeping and snacks not provided to loft rooms.

Check-in and check-out service, and staff, was very good. Bed was comfortable. Room temperature control was good. The location was great. Close to the market and restaurant areas. Relatively quiet street, at least at night. The area is in walking distance from most sites of interest.

While the street is quiet at night, there is a lot of noise during the day. Only single-paned windows. For dishes, etc. there was only 2 of everything. You need to wash everything all the time, but there was no dish detergent or dish cloths provided. And no plugs for sinks or bathtub. Breakfast provided was the same every day, and not great quality (but we still ate it). Laundry and pool advertised, but not located in building. Had to go to another building for access.

LOCATION is great, next to Santa Lucia park, Barrio Lasturria and the historic city centre. ROOM: The apartment is a bit on the small side, but enough. It's clearly a residential area as well as hotel. It's nice and quiet at night as it's tucked down a smaller street.

ROOM: whilst no problem for us, something to consider if you have small children is the stairs are floating with no railing and no back boards. The kitchen is pretty bare, there's no tea or coffee sachets offered in the room (though this seems to be the norm in South America?). LOCATION: we were warned not to go to the left when exiting the hotel at night time as it wasn't safe - this is the direction of the historic centre. Right (to Barrio Lasturria) is fine and we went that way regularly, even walking home after dinner.

- The staff were super polite and helpful - The water pressure of the shower was wonderful - The appliances were all well maintained - The hotel is extremely well localized - There was a courtesy breakfast

- The room had a good size, but comparatively the double bed was small (the space in the room could be better used with a larger double bed or even to large single beds) - The floor we stayed had a balcony which was the only source of natural light and looked directly to other windows (so it caused some privacy issues)

Perfectly located to visit the historic spots and parks, cerro San Cristobal and also close to Lastarria and BellaVista neighborhoods to go have drinks. The rooms with view on the street are large and bright. Place is clean and the staff is helpful. we were able to store our luggages to visit the city before heading to the airport.

At first we were put in a very dark room, but asked to be moved to a brighter one. Not a big problem but just so people know to ask if they have nicer room available

Location was close to museums & parks. However it was the staff that made this place a perfect choice. Very helpful. I was given a breakfast box which was nice. Room was a decent size & had a galley kitchen. As stated in previous reviews not much re utensils etc but enough for two. Did I mention the staff - oh I did but they deserve to be mentioned again. Outstanding.

The was some street construction going on in front of hotel. They worked until early evening but it shouldn’t take long to be finished. Didn’t bother me & I am going back in 2wks even if they are still working.

I liked almost everything: helpful staff, excellent location, and spacious rooms with basic toiletries. We had breakfast put in the fridge every afternoon.

1) if you were a light sleeper, you will have problems sleeping as the hotel is on a busy street 2) there should be better flooring for the bathtub as it is slippery and needs better drainage 3) although the free breakfast was welcomed, please ask if the guest eats meat; otherwise it is a waste. Also, find a more environmentally friendly reusable packing.

I picked this hotel 2ce. I stayed there March 2024 (previous review)then again in April. I picked it for location because it was within good walking distance to Santa Lucia Hill & the museums in Central Santiago. I chose it again because while all that was good it was the exceptional Staff that made me feel welcome. They gave me great travel tips, saved clothes I left for my return & above all let me bend their ears with many questions. The room was great for one person & they surprised me with a food box for late evening snack or for breakfast. As stated before the galley kitchen was small with few utensils but it worked for me. Wifi was great. & bed very comfortable. Special thanks to Mathias, Daniel & all of the staff who sadly I forgot their names but not how awesome they were. Also everyone at front desk spoke English but try to learn some Spanish to show you are willing to try.

There was road work going on right in front of hotel but hopefully it shouldn't continue long. It was quiet at night with one night noisy party people walking by. So just in case bring the earplugs your airline gives you or you can buy & you should have quiet. It certainly didn't stop me from returning
