1) Room is nice and smells clean; enough drinking water. 2) Location is very convenient, walking distances to malls and the underground shopping area 3) Breakfast is good but can be better; can improve on some dishes; soya bean milk can be thicker or more concentrated & hot. 4) Staff is very helpful especially the front desk (eg Ellie Zeng & David)and concierge, both are very key areas. We are also impressed by our housekeeper, very helpful and efficient !

The location is convenient, with a walking distant to 2 metro station (APM line and Line 1). There are lots of local restaurants in the basement of the Grandview mall. The room is spacious and clean. Beds are super comfy. Staff are helpful and friendly. There is a good variety of Asian and international breakfast buffet including dim sum , noodle station, and vegan selection. Overall our stay is comfy as one can expected from the Marriott.

staff service is very good- concierge, restaurant, room service etc …. choice of breakfast varieties is good but certain food taste is not as good as Novotel, Shanghai n Mercure Hangzhou

Improve on the food tastiness. Overall China food taste are very good for all the restaurants i had taken at Shanghai, Hangzhou n Guangzhou, be it the Michelin Star one or those restaurants at 正佳 shopping malls.

It was a wonderful experience. The room itself was comfortable and well-appointed, with all the amenities you would expect from a Marriott property. The bed was particularly cozy, providing a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring the city.

The absence of a smart TV in the room. In this digital age, having the ability to stream content directly from personal devices or access popular streaming platforms would have been a convenient addition. While the standard TV provided a decent range of channels, the inclusion of a smart TV would have added a more personalized touch to the in-room entertainment options.

Room is clean and spacious, robe is great for going to the pool for a swim. Convenient location with shopping right next door. Great breakfast.

Extensive use of marbles floors is slippery when wet. Even the swimming pool has marble floors, although rubber mats are placed on the floor in the pool area, the uncovered areas are still very slippery. Shower stall leaks a little at the corner. But then I haven't seem a shower stall in a hotel that doesn't leak yet. Very common issue even with a great hotel. There is a short stair case that leads to the parking, the stair case is quite narrow and half if it has a wooden ramp. The ramp is quite steep, it is more difficult to pull the luggage up the ramp than lifting up the stairs.

The location is very good. It is next to big shaping malls and convenient to connect to public railways. The room is spacious. The bed is comfortable. The water pressure for shower is very good. The bath tub is marvellous. The air conditioning and ventilation is good too.

The decor is a bit old style though it is clean. The pillows are too soft and flat. There seems to be a discrepancy in the price as quoted by booking.com. It’s a bit pricy. My room is quoted for HK$25xx but finally I have to pay ¥ 27xx for two nights.

Spacious room. Very responsive Aircon, good water pressure and temperature. Comfortable bed and pillow.

1) The mirror is not lit, making it challenging to apply makeup. 2) it is not directly above the metro, you still have to walk a distance.

Perfect location, with good breakfast, which is very rare in China even for premium chain hotels, a swimming pool, good gym, The mall is located in the same building, and there are plenty of very delicious restaurants.

old infrastructure, small rooms, some rooms have a view to the roof with noisy fans of the mall.

The Hotel is in an awesome location.It is in proximity to malls, restaurants, etc. The Grandview Mall Aquarium which is a must visit is right behind the hotel.Families love this place.The room was clean and bed was comfortable.Quality bedding.Breakfast had a wide variety and the lay out of the restaurant was beautiful.We had an upgrade to our room. If you want to eat in an American restuarant, drive to 13 Factories which is somewhere behind the American Embassy for good sirloin steak. cajun fries etc. I mean homemade food.

My mood was messed up during breakfast when I heard one of the noodle serving chefs pass a racist comment about me being black.It was an unbelievable moment for me in such a reputable International Hotel as Marriott.I immediately reported this to the female Manager on duty.I don't know how far they dealt with this. This chef needs to have a reorientation of working in an International Hotel.For now, he is fit for a local Chinese restaurant but not suitable for an International Hotel.He may embarass other customers who are black.

Convenient location. Very friendly staff especially the concierge team.

We have to take the lift to level 5 to go in and out of the hotel. Sometimes we can smell the cigarette smell in the floor hallway
