Grand Hyatt is the most affordable 5 star hotel you can get in the centre of Canton. I think it’s a great choice if you’re traveling for work: convenient location and great service for a good price. And you don’t have to spend 2 minutes in elevator every time you want to go to your room (the hotel isn’t a skyscraper unlike the neighboring buildings) The pool is great!

Grand Hyatts are known to be older than Park Hyatts. I didn’t like the view, the room’s layout (it was like a maze), the amenities (smell bad 🛀) Eventually, I moved out into my favorite Park Hyatt)

The Grand Hyatt Guangzhou is a fantastic choice. The rooms are comfortable, and the amenities are top-notch. The breakfast remains impeccable, as it has been for years. Having lived in the city for many years, I know it like the back of my hand, and the hotel's location is perfect—right in the city center with easy access to the metro. I would definitely stay here again.

However, the facilities could use some remodeling as they haven't changed since the hotel opened in 2008. Also, keep in mind that the hotel does not provide a VPN. Despite this, I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent location you can walk to main plaza and hubs of transportation.

Staff were not very friendly. When checking in, the receptionist was not useful at all when I asked about my invoicing. He basically did not want to go and figure out how to do it and just wanted me to accept his reply but I’ve been to many hotels in China and I knew I was not asking anything impossible. After 20 minutes of impoliteness, he went and found out how to do it, which he could have done since the very beginning.

Room was spacious and very clean. It was equipped with all the required amenities. Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi were great. There were lots of options in Breakfast menu for both Vegetarian and Non Vegetarian. Location is great!! Its near to all Business centers, Metro stations and Canton Tower. Entire hotel staff is very polite and helpful. They made my 6 days long stay very comfortable and memorable. I highly recommend Grand Hyatt hotel for business travelers.

It’s looks as a normal 5 stars hotel by all they have provided.

A few things that is this hotel should need to be improve. 1. All the restaurants are too expensive(comparing others). I am not suggest the customers to use of them. 2. The reception counter on the 22nd floor, and no elevator can directory from ground to other floors, every time needs to stop on 22nd floor by as a transfer. It’s very stupid and funny. 3. 3:00pm check in time it’s too late for the day. Mostly worldwide hotels are maximum on 2:00pm.

It's definitely worth the money spent, with the perfect location and services. The room was comfy and large and had all the facilities needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

The room design was pretty bold; it was very unconventional in China that they put the bed in the centre of the room. But I liked it.

The breakfast is superb! A lot of options for the fresh juice. The bed is nice but I don't think the room has the heater or just me that couldn't find it, so a bit cold at night.

Kinda hard to have a conversation with the receptionist regarding the bill but overall is still nice.

I can not rate this hotel and staff any higher. I had a medical emergency and they were amazing. I would like to make special mention to Vicky, Susan and Cherry for the exception care they had for me while sick and needed medical attention.

Enormous choice for breakfast, nice beds, good view from the room. Location was good to walk through the park towards the tv-tower.

Personnel speaks just a bit English, enough at least to check in. Rather functional set-up, no place to ‘hangout’ for tourists/travelers.

Location is perfect. Near several different mtr lines and situated near top class restaurants in business district. Spacious clean and luxurious rooms equipped with kettle and Nespresso machine
