Staff were very friendly.

Room quality is not good enough for the amount charged. I had a lot of mould in and around the bath and shower area and the bath water ran badly from.the waterfall style tap.such that the flow wasn't strong enough to flow into.the bath and instead ran onto the rim of the bath making a mess on the floor. Exercise bike software in room had no English option and was loked to either no resistance or full resistance with no response to the usual controls (technogym) equipment. Oddly no hand towels provided to wash hands nor soap in the toilet basin. TV pretty much didn't function as the signal to every channel was so poor it was unwatchable.

Boutique hotel vibe, with an impressive display of contemporary art. The chengyu inspired exhibition present all over the hotel intriguing and esthetic. Along the art itself, even some windows and a table carried engraved chengyu. Very good location in Xintiandi cool neighborhood. Check in, check out and all interactions with the reception staff efficient and warm. It was a truly nice experience for our family of 4.

Great location, especially if you like to be surrounded by aspiring locals and travelers that tend to hang out in Xintiandi. Most creature comforts are included in the price of the stay, including free snacks and a decent gym area. Staff in all parts of the building were super friendly

While most included amenities go above and beyond expectations, there are opportunities for sticker shock. $90+ USD for laundry service on about a dozen items? Yikes.

Location great, room good, service super (mostly). I also wanted to compliment John, concierge area. He was tremendously helpful to help me track down a delivery, really spent time on it. Lynn was so nice and kind to give me an upgrade!

No lounge access, except for lobby. And “happy hour” selection was poor and limited, repetitive.

The room, the food, the location and the team all fantastic. After 6 years the team welcomed us and still knows us. Thanks to John Tang, Nicolas conciërge and the leader Jayden.

Cleanliness and proper place

The mini bar choice that they offered wasn’t so good. They use ready made coffee. I expected that more of staffs at hotel this level should be able to speak English. But very few of them can, especially at lobby lounge only one person can speak English which was difficult.

It was line coming home I come to this hotel alteady more than 8 years Only one thing : some furniture has been coming in time and needs to be refurbished Just a recommendation to the management

The furniture in the lounge is too old in the meantime and needs to be replaced

Excellent location, especially friendly for non-chinese speakers. Surrounding fully accommodated with non-chinese food.

Room with minor odor, it could from AC condensation? explained by staff.

Location is fantastic, right next to the restaurant and shopping district. The concierge service from Roy was spectacular. I had to take my bags across the road and he did it without a fuss.

The location is great. The hotel is very comfortable, and staff is very friendly & helpful.

I have used my Amex card to pay when I checked-in, I have still not received my refund for the deposit that has been taken from my credit card.
