Hotel is well located and across the road from the Metro which makes it very easy to get around. Staff were very helpful and aimed to give the very best service. Our room was amazing with the most beautiful city views! Water was supplied every day and the service excellent. The hotel is a little dated but clean and still very beautiful.

The hotel is slightly dated and really needs bit of modernisation but altogether great. Breakfast was good but gets quite busy and things are not organised well. It was difficult to find a seat and cutlery so I really think this could be better organised. Coffee and tea was supplied but no milk - will be great if milk / powdered milk could be supplied.

Location of the hotel is amazing. I liked it because there are many shopping malls near and also great small restsurants. Room is spacious and full of daylight, bed is very comfortable. Bathroom is perfect size with enough space for everything. I also liked the given cotton pads and clean towels every day. Pool and gym are perfect size and also very clean. Breakfast amazed me with so many various types of food and with basic breakfast food you have an opportunity to try many chinese specialities.

The only thing that I didn’t like was one of the stuff members who was working in a lobby when I was checking in. The man wasn’t very polite and professional and laughed in my face when one of my cards wasn’t accepted and I had to use different one. Defenitely lacked professionalism and respect for foreigners, especially young ones travelling alone for the first time to different part of the world.

Upon my arrival at the hotel, I was immediately overwhelmed by its grandeur and luxurious atmosphere. It's a large hotel, but it doesn’t feel impersonal, thanks to the stylish décor and welcoming ambiance. The room was very spacious and beautifully decorated, with great attention to detail and comfort. It truly felt like a luxurious stay. What made the experience even better was the exclusive breakfast room for guests in the special rooms. It was a delightful and much-appreciated touch, allowing us to enjoy breakfast in peace and comfort. Overall, this hotel combines luxury, comfort, and excellent guest service in an impressive way.

The location is convenient for transportation. The hotel service details are in place. The breakfast is vey rich.The coffee is dilicious. Dry cleaning clothes are delivered to the room within one day. Room clean is very well. It is imprtant is that pretty safe. Once i couldn't open the safe in the middle of night and the service staff immediately helped me solve it because there were too many things stuck. Another time ,my daughter forgot to took her iphone watch when she checked out and left and called back. The hotel staff searched and even took the rubbish bin to find it. Thank you very much to all the staff of XinJiang for providing us with excellent service and leaving us with wonderful hotel memories. Outside the window the scenery of the beautiful sycamore trees in Shanghai as pretty beauty as Jin Jiang Tower. LIPING

George Yang is, without a doubt, the best manager I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. During a recent situation where my daugther accidentally left her bag in a taxi, George immediately stepped in to help. With remarkable efficiency, he searched the video footage and reported the issue to the police, contacted the taxi company, and coordinated the search process. Thanks to his determination and proactive approach, the bag was found and returned to us in less than two hours—a feat that seemed impossible at the time. George’s exceptional communication skills, particularly his fluency in English, played a significant role in resolving the matter so quickly. The hotel is located in the best area in the French concession area of Shanghai and on a quite street, right across the subway station, walking distance and subway access to every where within 30min commute. I had a room on 27th floor with gorgeous view of the city, the Oriental Pearl Tower and Shanghai LuJiaZui 3-piece set. The room is spacious, clean, bed is comfort, staffs are helpful and responsive to all the request. You can even order food and online purchase and The hotel has a delivery centre with lockers so you can pick up when the delivery arrives, super convenient!

One of the most cost-effective hotels in Shanghai city centre. With very friendly and professional services. The hotel has one of the best breakfast I have ever encountered for the same price. With a wide variety, including delicious British, Continental, Chinese and other breakfast foods, high quality Coffee, some traditional Chinese cuisines freshly made by chefs, etc. The room facilities are a little worn, but quite spacious, very clean, and room service such as ordering meals from room is excellent. Great location for underground travel. The 3rd entrance/exit of Middle Huaihai Road station on the 13 line is just across the street from this hotel.

I love this hotel... I have been staying in Shanghai for weekends, and so have now stayed here three times. The rooms are large enough, well lit, clean, private bathroom, desk space to work.. large bathroom. The desk reception staff speak good English and are very helpful. The buffet breakfast is good. The location is good... in the former French concession, so good for walking, among colonial era buildings and tree-lines streets... very close to Huaihai Road shopping street, a half hour or so walk to Shanghai Museum and People's Square. Directly opposite a Line 13 Subway station, and a 5-10 minute walk to a 3-line (1, 10, 12) subway station. AND last, but not least, behindd the reception counter the wonderful full-wall reproduction of the Qingming Shanghe Tu Song dynasty scroll painting .

It is a very comfortable hotel, in a good location. The staff at the desk and the concierge speak good English which makes it easy for foreign travellers; and they provide a very useful English language street map with Metro station locations marked, and a useful set of pamphlets on different aspects of sight seeing and cultural sight seeing in Shanghai. Also the swimming pool and gym facility are useful And, the location is very, very good, in the French Concession, very close to Metro station and shopping streets... and a peaceful and safe area for walking

The room service prices are exorbitantly high. The prices are so high, it seems the hotel does not want customers to order food or drinks by room service. It would be good if some English channels could be added to the TV program And, adding some introductory-level Mandarin language education videos would be fantastic

The location of the hotel is supreme. It is close to train stations and is situated in areas of Shanghai that are historical and metropolitan areas. Cannot recommend the location of this hotel enough, it is also very close to shopping centres and smaller streets that house local vendors that serve delicious and affordable shanghainese food.

The rooms are not super big but they are clean. If you're going to be exploring Shanghai, a small room is not much of a complaint as you will barely be in the room.
