Amazing location in a high end shopping area with lots of food options, And the hotel and staff are spectacular. The things a loved the most are: - Great value for money. -The rooms are spacious, comfortable and quiet -The room service food was amazing

I loved everything in this hotel. However visitors to shanghai must know that hotel room temperature is set to 19.5* to 22* degree Celsius in almost all hotels in shanghai, which could be not cold enough if your used to sleeping in a very cold room

The hotel is centrally located and easy to get to other parts of Shanghai on the subway or bike. Staff were friendly and welcoming and we were given a beautiful box of moon cakes as it was the Autumn Festival. Our room was a very good size, separate bath and shower plus coffee machine and complimentary water. We used the gym a few times and the equipment was excellent. Easy walking distance to eateries and shopping.

When I booked the room it stated in the room facilities there was a washing machine however there was not one in our room. As we only stayed 2 nights it was not a major issue.

I would like to share my deepest appreciation for the exceptional service I received from Hardy Men during my stay at The Langham, Shanghai. While I was in Shanghai, I encountered a problem when trying to buy a toy for my son, a promise I had made to him before our trip. Unfortunately, I struggled with a local online platform (Baidu) because I didn’t have a Chinese mobile number, and the verification process kept failing due to the language barrier. After several attempts, all of our accounts—mine, my sister's, and my mother's—were locked, and we were about to give up. It was then that I met Hardy at the Langham Club on the 27th floor. From the moment I spoke with him, he went above and beyond to help us. He assisted with translations and did everything he could to resolve the account issues we were facing. When it seemed like we had no other option, I asked Hardy if he could help us by ordering the toy through his account. Despite it being outside his usual duties, he kindly and willingly agreed. He even went the extra mile by tracking the delivery for us to ensure everything went smoothly. Hardy’s willingness to help and his genuine kindness were truly remarkable. He could have easily declined, but instead, he showed compassion and went out of his way to assist us, simply because he wanted to help another person. Thanks to him, I was able to keep my promise to my son, and that meant the world to me. I am deeply grateful for Hardy’s exceptional service, and I am incredibly impressed by his kindness and dedication. Thank you, Hardy, and thank you to The Langham for having such an outstanding individual on your team.

Thanks for your extra water .. for the room Overall the staffs are very nice and helpful The room does need upgrades somehow . The wooden bath tub needs replacing and the paint is fading and cracks , the carpet needs a good clean . Bedside table surface is chipped due to beverage spills over the years . Overall, the high light of the hotel is the staffs are excellent. The food is good. The location is ok ,not a walking distance to the NANJING PEDESTRIAN STREET. And the Bund . But it is a short taxi ride or DIDI ride at a very affordable price!

The hotel is well located, close to transit and in a very nice area for walking around and shopping. Facilities are elegant and updated. My room was in a top floor, with a nice view, and very quiet throughout. Shower is excellent and the room service and cleanliness were impeccable. Breakfast was full of options - I'm vegan and I can say I ate very well every morning. The gym facilities are also great - split in two areas, you can do cardio, weights and they also offer classes. Staff is friendly and very helpful.

Club Room is nice but the atmosphere is somehow not at the high expectations I have for these class of hotels. And the same can be said for the breakfast at the club: good but not on par with the rest of the experience.

Hotel is in prime location close to everything. A lot of restaurants, shoping malls and on walking distance to major atractions. Close to subway stations, taxi is not expensive. The staff in hotel were very helpful and some well spoken in english to answer our questions and requests. The hotel and bedroom very clean.

The food and drinks in hotel are a little bit pricy. Not all staff speak well english and might be area for improvement.

The hotel's location is fantastic, and the staff were exceptionally friendly, making my stay quite enjoyable. I must say there is very little to complain about regarding the service and staff.

I'd like to point out a minor issue regarding the lighting in the room. Specifically, the area around the sofa was somewhat dim in the afternoon and evening, lacking proper illumination. Additionally, the placement of the coffee machine required me to walk to the bathroom to wash my cups, which I observed is provided differently in other hotels.

Thanks to Frank, the young gentleman who handled the luggage, I well received my stuff sent by airline. He is a talented great professional, provided high quality service with precision.
