I had an excellent stay at Hotel Quinta Bolivar in Bogotá. The staff went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and safety during my entire stay. A special thank you to Laura from the staff and the hotel driver Andrés, who were incredibly supportive and helpful during an unexpected emergency situation. Their kindness, professionalism, and genuine care made all the difference. The rooms were comfortable, the location ideal, and the overall service exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Bogotá!

really lovely quirky hotel with a very interesting style. very attractive, comfortable, communal areas. our bedroom upstairs was really quiet once the people in the room next door had finished showering. we had a very good night's sleep. the bed was super comfortable. the staff were really friendly and helpful. the hotel is in a very nice, safe area, next to the university which made it very quiet outside at night, but was only a 15 mins walk to Plaza de Bolivar. there is a restaurant complex just down the road where we ate dinner at the really good Wok restaurant. breakfast was good.

the bathroom is small with a tiny washbasin. Some fresh fruit at breakfast would be a great addition.

Staff was amazing. They helped us with everything we needed - from storing our bags for few days, when we went on a trip with no room, to helping us carry our bags to taxi, lending us their personal hair dryer, offering us breakfast (delicious!!) after the sceduled time (we missed our flight)... it felt like home. Also the space is very nice, calm and full of flowers and vintage items.

We stayed in Hotel Quinta Bolivar only during the day after suffering from mountain sickness upon returning to Bogotá after several nights in Leticia. The room was quiet and clean, with strong air conditioning and ample hot water (something we had trouble with traveling elsewhere in Colombia). The staff was friendly and helpful, and the hotel is also perfectly located in a quiet section of La Candelaria.

Nothing to complain of!

Very good location within walking distance from La Candelaria. The surrounding area seemed safe and quiet (I walked back to the hotel around 10-11 PM, alone, and had no trouble at all). Hot water and good pressure in the shower. The room was clean and comfortable enough for a short stay.

I got a room next to the reception which was super noisy as other guests came and went. Breakfast was very basic, but this was the case for most places I stayed in Colombia.

Breakfast was good although a little limited on choices. Staff and manager go out of their way to make sure everything is taken care of. Always in contact with us during the stay.

A touch noisy during the day in the room we were in (no. 2) due to close proximity to reception but not a issue since we were mostly gone during the day.

Great location near la candelaria and montserrate! Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious - the sauce with the poached eggs was amazing! Showers mostly nice and hot, bed comfortable, room cleaned/new towels every 2 days 😊 Good value for money.

Our room had no sound insulation and was near the lobby so was quite noisy in the night with other guests. The shower leaked out the door and soaked the bath mat.

It has its own authentic design inside the Hotel Amazed by all the old school decorations but in prestige conditions.. super clean and comfortable beds.the included personal breakfast was on point. The front desk lady was kind and helpful. It has hot water in the shower, I just had to wait a bit to get hot but it's a plus.

The room curtains are a bit visible but I was able to set them up for privacy

The venue is very central and the centre of town can be reached walking in 10/15 minutes enjoying the beauty of the candaliera. The hotel is lovely, cosy and comfortable with this colonial flavour. Breakfast fabolous But the highlight is the staff: very efficient and always happy to satisfy customers needs going above and beyond
