This is possibly the best value for the quality I have encountered in booking.com. Thought has been put into every aspect of the hotel. Positive messages everywhere, fresh water available, helpful staff. The room was not large but it was designed to meet all needs. The jacuzzi, sauna and steam were also awesome. The location sits on the border of Laureles and Belen. Walking distance to markets, cajeros, central commercial, resaurants, etc. It overlooks the university futbol fields.

Only improvement I would offer is the breakfast was limited and basic. Couple of eggs, arepa, cup of papaya. Had some issues with the jacuzzi but the staff rapidly solved it.

Hotel location is excellent, in Laureles neighborhood, close to many restaurants, clubs, and other activities. It's also far enough away from the louder establishments, that it's quiet enough to rest well. Included breakfast downstairs is good, but simple; i.e not a lot of choices, but what you receive are eggs, toast, bacon and some jam. Plenty good enough for me.

Mattress was not the most comfortable I've slept on, although ok. And the air conditioning took a long time to cool the room down, even with the blinds closed. I generally left the room blinds closed as a result, to maintain a cool temperature.

This Hotel really met all my needs for a great price. I wish I would have discovered it sooner as I was previously staying in a hotel in poblado paying almost double. Now, this hotel isn't super luxurious or anything but the room is very comfortable. AC works great, keeps the room nice and cold throughout the night, TV has plenty of channels, shower has plenty of hot water, and theres a safe to store valuables. The location is perfect because it's far enough away from 70th street so you dont hear any noise but at the same time it's only 4 blocks away so you can easily walk there. I also really enjoyed the breakfast they cook it up for you on the spot from kitchen to table. I definitely plan to come back!

Car park is quite small and narrowed. And the request for a pre-payment via WhatsApp was quite annoying, something I'd never seen in 15+ years travelling as price and payment conditions are stated in Booking. I obviously pushed back such non-sense and staff understood my disatifaction. There was no issue later on, but at first it sounded like a scam

The facility is well taken care of, everything is clean and nicely organized. The breakfast is included and it was delicious! If you’re going with an elderly person it is convenient that they have accessibility in the entrance and an elevator. The room is fairly small but convenient space if you’re only going to sleep there.

Everything was fine. Nothing to complain about.

Staying in Hotel Bolivariana Plaza was a wonderful experience. All the staff is amazingly friendly and professional. A lot of thought has gone into every element of the accommodation and it was, in every sense, a breath of fresh air. The location is great and the room we stayed in had a lovely view of the city.

I regret not having come here sooner.

Told staff the refrigerator didn't work within 15 minutes of being in my room. They told me it's attached to power run by door key. Unfortunately not the case, no fridge all 6 nights. Besides, why have a mini fridge in the room if it only runs while you're in the room and then turns off while out all day? Makes zero sense, can't keep anything cold...in a refrigerator, it's sole purpose. I understand rest of room being linked to key card, but if you're that adamant about conserving energy, remove the refrigerator from the room. 3rd or 4th stay here and didn't have this issue in other stays with the other rooms 🙄

Food and service in restaurant has vastly improved since March. The old Chef and servers were awful. Front desk very helpful. Going to guess there's been a change in management, things are noticeably different

Beds are hard as a rock, I'm in pain from sleeping there 3 nights.

The location is good and peaceful. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Compared to other Colombian hotels this was better than average. Hot water from shower.

The Junior Suite had a squeaking bed and not very firm at all. The room was small to be called even a junior suite, it was smaller than any average hotel room in the US or Europe. The prices in the restaurant menu outside of lunch time is astronomical compared to Colombian prices. The prices were in dollars with meals 25-30 dollars and soft drinks 4-5 dollars, which is crazy overpriced compared to any local restaurant.

Nice small hotel in a good location. Friendly staff and a very nice hang out/spa area on the top floor. We would recommend booking the "Junior Suite" - we booked a normal rum but could upgrade on the spot. Luggage storage was also possible after checkout.
