You need to fill in too much paperwork upfront and whilst being there. The restaurant misses a bit of flair.

Exceptional location. Stunning views. Luxurious glamping pods. Excellent, attentive staff. Nice food. Exceptionally good early morning "Bird Tour" with personable and very well informed, English-speaking guide. Binoculars supplied. Saw 29 species within the site itself and along a short section of the track outside. We stayed for two nights. One night would not have been enough.

Pre-booking information correctly makes clear that the site includes steep and irregular stepped paths from the central area to the pods. Some pods are easier to get to than others. Older people are specifically warned about this. Aged in our 70's, we did not find any of the paths a problem, but it is certainly necessary to take care. However it might be better to put a copy of the voluminous disclaimer on-line, or send a copy at the booking stage. Having already arrived, there is not much choice about signing it - thereby absolving the establishment from any consequences of misfortune, even as a result of their own negligence. That said, our experience was of a well run business and a well maintained site. We loved our stay at Trekker Glamping.

The location and view is incredible. Our ‘tent pods’ were gorgeous and clean. We loved the food, sitting on our deck and lying in the netting watching the birds and sounds and sunset.

The jacuzzi is hot which when it’s cool or cold out would be nice BUT it was HOT outside all day so we could not enjoy it. It would be really great if there was one area where people could go in the middle of the day when the heat is overwhelming to find some AC. The fans are not enough and even though the outdoor temp in the mountains and in the shade is a little less, it’s still quite hot.

The location is up the hills in Minca and is a bumpy ride to get there, but that is to be expected since you are in nature. Our room was big and spacious and we had an amazing view that was a combo of nature and the city of Santa Marta. They had amazing juices and the food was really up to standards. The tours/cleansing ceremonies that we booked through them were really nice and worth it for the money. We did the fire ceremony, ancestral healing massage and cocao tour with waterfall (lot of walking but worth it!). The staff was very friendly and the property was amazing to unwind and relax. Take note that to get to your room you do have to climb some stairs that are made of rocks but it's totally doable, just not your typical hotel, but again you are in nature and its to be expected.

Not that i did not like it but it can be a bit noisy during the night due to the animals that 'come out' so just be aware of this part.

Exceptional view, exactly like the pictures. A real oasis of calm that more than delivered on what was promised. The jacuzzi is a stunning place to welcome in the day. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable, excellent communication in advance. Food was tasty and varied, particularly given how remote the location is! Drinks were delicious and all reasonably priced. We loved how at peace Trekker Glamping felt- and definitely recommend!

Dream location and cabins, the pictures are exactly like the reality, and even more beautiful. The price is quite high and the activities offered were all super interesting but very pricey. The food the staff and everything else was just perfect!

It is still "camping" and you are in the middle of the jungle so expect a lot of nature, bugs and animals. Roads in Minca are pretty bad so its a bit of a rough ride to reach the location, but all Minca is like that

Beautifully luxurious domes and hotel property with a stunning view over the rolling green mountains all the way to the sea. You can see the sunset (clouds permitting) from the hot tub. A perfect, tranquil location and one of our favourite accommodations during our time in Colombia. Not cheap but worth it.

The bathroom is not in the dome but under it and accessible via a private tunnel/path and not protected from mosquitoes. Once you arrive it’s hard to leave and while the dinner was excellent it’s not cheap.

The location was beautiful, the staff was very helpful and energetic, the breakfast was very nice, and had lots of options. Would definitely recommend the location to others. Delicious fresh juices!

Lunch/Dinner had tons of options but none were particularly great (and was pricey). Most of the main food tasted stale/old, would recommend cutting down the menu to have things be a bit fresher. WIFI was very spotty in the rooms (not a huge deal given the location). Given the cost of the hotel, I would have hoped for at least one employee that spoke English but not a huge deal as my spouse speaks Spanish.

The property is located on the edge of minca mountain with the most incredible sunsets we had every night. The rooms were amazing very large and very comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful even though we could not speak spanish we found them so helpful and polite. We did extra activities such as yoga and hiked to the most amazing waterfall. We loved it so much we extended our stay by a extra day and I was sad to leave. Really beautiful and one of my fav places in Colombia.

It was a little difficult with lugguge. Since we were travelling around south america and few other countries for months we had alot of lugguge. We didnt have the option to leave any of it behind. The accommadation was so helpful but we felt very bad for the porters carrying bags as its all on a hill lots of stairs to get to the rooms.

The highlight of my 6 weeks in Colombia. Absolutely stunning.

The only thing that was annoying was that for some reason the light in the bathroom is automatic. So if someone goes to the bathroom at night it lights up the entire room waking up anyone sleeping. Closing the door doesn’t help because it’s made out of very thin frosted clear plastic.
