It’s absolutely amazing This place has a genuine quality to it and stands out with the great easy but top professional atmosphere. Interior design of the apartment I was staying in recalls set design of some Wild West movie of the 70ties in the best way and is a treat in itself- to the point that it’s hard to leave - beautiful thoughtfully crafted space - a gem Atmosphere is easy and makes me want to come back and explore the magic of Monteverde Last but not least- this great place feels Costa Rican (contrary to American colonisation that I am unfortunately experiencing now in Tabacon - I would have stayed longer in Monteverde if I knew ..) Hope to come back shortly

Amazing views over the valley from the shared balcony. The hotel had a very relaxed air and the staff were very helpful.

The sound-proofing between rooms was a bit lacking, so one could hear conversations elsewhere.

Wonderful breakfast. Staff extremely helpful. Very close to town and MonteVerde. Room very nice and parking convenient and secure. Definitely recommend.

Our spotlessly clean room had a small balcony with a similarly fantastic view as the extensive communal deck. The bed was very comfortable and there was a complimentary bottle of water and a safe in the room. Diego clearly enjoys his job, going the extra mile to assist the guests with bookings and recommendations. The breakfast was impressive, with cereals, yoghurts, fresh fruit platters, fresh fruit juices and a choice of cooked breakfast. Within easy walking distance of the town centre with it's many shops, restaurants and bank. This B and B represents excellent value for money.

The water pressure/ temperature for the shower was temperamental.

The staff were incredible. The included breakfast was very good. Both mornings we were there, we left early to beat the rains and enjoy the parks before the crowds. Though we were leaving just as the kitchen was opening, the kitchen staff came early and prepared our breakfast so we could eat something before we left. We would return to this B&B without any hesitation.

We came during the low season, which is the rainy season. Given this, everything from our clothes to towels was damp. It would have been nice to have A/C in the rooms to reduce the humidity and make things more comfortable, especially sleeping at night. However, I also wonder if any hotel in this town has A/C since the higher elevation means it is relatively cool year-round. Regardless of this issue, I would stay here again.

We had a very nice welcome and lots of information. Our room was clean and comfortable and had everything we needed, but it was not very big (which we didn't mind). Just outside it was a comfortable sofa. It was about 5 minutes to the centre of town and supermarkets, restaurants, bakeries and souvenir shops. The breakfast was nice but we were not sure of the protocol for helping yourself and noticed others had the same difficulty. An added bonus was a brilliant soda next door selling gorgeous food. Easy to get tours organised.

Our room had no external view other than the verandas of the rooms at the side. We really liked the main veranda for relaxing, but the views included more metal roof top than most advertising shots show.

The beds are comfy, the staff a really great, the breakfast is nice. We had a great stay here and we definitely recommend the B&B to others. The staff tries everything to make your stay comfortable.

We had a standard room booked which is very pretty and comfy. BUT it is right next to the road. I mean it. You are 5cm apart from bypassing traffic. And there is plenty. After the first night the staff changed us to another and much quieter room They even gave us 2 choices too look at and pick which one we like. Great property just try to avoid room 25 ans 23

Breakfast was good. Room was clean. Staff were helpful in getting us tours. We liked Monteverde although it is important that if you plan to rent a car you need to have an SUV because of the potholes even on the main roads. Restaurant next doo was quite good.

Our room was under the sitting/breakfast area so it was a bit noisy and had no view with windows looking out to the common walkway. We also were surprised by how long and hilly the walk was into town. Biggest problem is that we had expected to be able to sit and enjoy the view but the only good viewing area is a deck that is always very windy.

The staff was exceptional! The front desk staff, Juestin, Diego and Michael, were welcoming and helpful with anything we needed ie tour recommendations and booking the tours. The breakfast room staff were friendly and served a lovely breakfast. The kitchen/dining room area and a refrigerator was available to be used by guests and coffee/tea/water popcorn was provided all day free of charge. I especially loved the outside lounge area just off of the dining room; a great place with a nice view and a beautiful breeze. Our room was small, but adequate for the two of us.

We had some issues with a stable wifi connection. Not a huge issue for us as we were not working remotely from this location.

nice small BB for couple of nights stay, breakfast is ok for 1-2 nights - very simpe but eatable. they have games and relax zone for those who are bored there is a very nice place close to the BB, Taco Taco, highly reccomended.

The BB has 2 floors and the lower floor doesnt have any lift access and very narrow stairs to carry the luggage. there were lots of ants in the room, after the cleaned it (incluing on the toilet paper). The cost of this simple BB is very close to the cost of the very good hotels elsewere - perhaps its due to high demand in Monteverde?
