Rooms off a beautiful, peaceful little courtyard, just 5 mins from the incredible old town. We were offered fresh apricots from the lovely hostess, and we could make our own breakfast (really great muesli and cornflakes)! r

There were noisy people in the next room. But this is often unavoidable.

The location as it's only a few mins walk to the centre of Split, but on a very quiet street. The apartment had everything we needed, including outside terrace (2 bed apartment) and beautiful shared shady garden with plants and comfy seats. The 2nd bedroom was rather cramped but we managed with it and it didn't affect enjoyment of our stay. Main bedroom is much nicer, larger and better equipped. The staff!! Couldn't do enough for us. Very quick responding and breakfast supplied which was a lovely surprise. Also Marijana helped carry out luggage from the taxi and up two flights of stairs. Thank you Marijana. We will be back soon.🙂

Disappointed the sunbeds were missing although shown on the photos and mentioned in facilities. It wouldn't cost much to provide new ones. We were two lady friends each with our own bedroom, but 2nd bedroom was very cramped and would be unsuitable for 2 adults, although advertised as a double/twin. My friend struggled to rearrange the bedside lamp so it could be switched off when in bed. Also, drawer space in this room was minimal and only suitable for small items. Main bedroom was much nicer and better equipped. A/C was only in the lounge area so need to keep bedrooms open when weather is hot. Additional quiet fans in each bedroom would be a good idea.

The location was great. Very comfortable bed & pillows. Good bathroom/shower. Supplies in the fridge were very welcome. The room was well equipped with cups, glasses, plates, cutlery, kettle & coffeemaker. The courtyard garden was lovely & well furnished. The communication from Marijan was excellent both before & during our stay. Karla went above & beyond - she met our taxi with smiles & umbrellas in the dark in the pouring rain to bring us to the accommodation, after our very delayed flight She even had a pizza delivered for us.

The room could benefit from curtains to block out the light, a second armchair & a long mirror. These are relatively minor things & we would without hesitation highly recommend.

This was a perfect location, close to the downtown, but quiet, and made us walk around the area. We loved the courtyard and our private patio. There were 10 of us, and we were able to book rooms separately, but come together in the two open spaces, the courtyard and our private balcony (which is accessed from the 2 bedroom unit that one group booked. Note- booking an upstairs room involves carrying luggage up stairs. There are a few downstairs rooms, if that is an issue for you, inquire about the lower rooms. Lots of space, a great balcony, rooms were comfortable. Our welcome was wonderful and kind. Only a 5 minute walk down the hill to the main part of Split.

Nothing comes to mind

We stayed at this accommodation a couple of times during our trip to Croatia. Marijana was so helpful and lovely. We arrived early before our check in and were able to leave our bags and explore Split while the room was getting ready, which was really handy. We were also able to do the same when we had a late Split departure after the check out time. There was a simple breakfast available in the rooms too, plus an iron and ironing board which was also convenient. The rooms were a good size, with one of our stays being on the top floor which had a great view across Split.

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment with balcony which was absolutely stunning with a sea view. The owner Marijana booked an airport taxi for us and the driver was so courteous and professional and was waiting for us in arrivals. Marijana was waiting for us when we arrived at the property and showed us in. The apartment was huge, and so tastefully decorated, with absolutely everything we needed and more. Both Marijana and the housekeeper Marta were so helpful, friendly and professional. The area of Varos where the property is located is quaint and pretty and only a five minute walk to the Riva, waterfront and old town. Lots and lots of lovely restaurants nearby. It's perfectly located to explore lovely Split with all it's history, culture and beaches. I will definitely be returning to Zephyrus.

Nothing, everything was absolutely perfect.

What makes this lovely place more wonderful is the manager, Atonija, who is there every day. She is half Australian, half Croatian and has Aussie humor. She describes herself as loving to talk 24/7--yes, she is definitely a people person and interested in others. She gives this place life, personality, and makes it such a comfortable place to stay. We stayed in the larger ground floor bedroom and really loved our stay here. Excellent strong AC, extremely clean, spacious bathroom, great shower, comfortable bed. The room is partially built into the hill so it doesn't get much natural light, but stays naturally cool. We ate breakfast every day in the inner courtyard that had tables, chairs and generally a breeze. A big plus is access to a washing machine. Each room has a small refrigerator, a French press and coffee, dishes and silverware, a tray and cutting board. There are additional units on the 3 floors above us that get good light but are also up stairs. The other room on the ground floor was much smaller than ours, also less money.

The wifi, but it couldn't be helped. It isn't good anywhere in the old city.

This hidden gem is worth the walk - Antonia runs a great 'small hotel' but treats you to as guest in her own home. Warm and friendly, simple and clean are the best ways to explain the accomodations. It was stepping in my grandmothers guest rooms and made me think of her as we checked in. Make sure you talk with Antonia to get her take on the local 'things to do' - breakfast from the shop at the bottom of the hill, coffee from the next one over, dinner around the corner - she has all the names and they were all excellent options. When you get your directions for 'where to park' don't fight them - go to that parking point, and follow on foot to the hotel, again, hidden gem worth finding.

Large spacious well presented apartment with comfortable bed and living area, great air conditioning unit worked very well. Well equipped kitchen. Marijana our host was fantastic, very friendly always answered messages quickly and meeting us for late check in was greatly appreciated. We Had use of communal washing machine.

48 steps up to our apartment #5. The refrigerator did not work correctly, lowest temperature the fridge reached was 14 deg C. Ice compartment door falls off.
