Really nice selection in the breakfast room - always fresh ingredients - seats inside and outside. The room we had was spacious. Everything was neat and clean. Beds very comfortable (maybe a tad too soft). Everyone was very friendly and the lady covering most of the late shifts during our stay was particular nice and chatty. Within only 5-10 min we reached the lively parts of the town - meaning it is super close but at night quiet (something we preferred). Very close to the central bus station (5 min walk) and 2 supermarkets in front of the building. The little something we got due to our longer stay was a nice touch. If we ever make it back to Split we would be happy to stay here again.

The bathroom itself is very nice but even short showers caused some flooding. Fortunately there were enough extra towels to catch the excessive water. Coffee machine had good and bad days ;) A kettle in the room would have been nice (fair enough we did not ask for one while being there).

Superb little hotel and well managed by caring staff. I’ve luckily travelled well across the globe, and this hotel is certainly special. I have stayed in 5* luxury resorts but Skaline has better rooms than most on my list - a Sony TV, Samsung AC unit and even a classy Grohe shower…the owners didn’t cut corners with quality expenses to ensure guests have a pleasant stay…and that was certainly the case. You can even hire a top of the range mountain bike for €10 a day. Bargain and great experience when exploring Marjan National Park. Location of hotel was great and a 10 minute walk to town / Palace / Harbour. Special thanks to Ivana the manager, Vedrana and Marino the reception staff and an extra special thanks to Andrea the chef who always went the extra mile and had a constant smile 😀. Overall highly recommended and 5* stay. The staff made the trip really memorable.

If I had to find a negative with the stay it was that there were no tea/coffee facilities in the room.

The property was a short walk to the city center and great value. Our room was small (which seemed to be the norm in Croatia) but it was clean and modern. The staff were very nice and did a great job at making us feel welcome. They also made up our room special for our honeymoon which was a lovely surprise. A week later I’m still working on eating all the chocolate covered cherries they gave us (which are amazing). I would definitely stay at this property again if I were to go back to Split.

You do have to go up a set of stairs to get up to the reception/rooms. This was no issue for us, but might be a problem for someone with mobility issues.

Very friendly and helpfull staff, extremely clean and well kept hotel, housekeeping doing excellent job always completing the cleaning while we were having breakfast, small but good breakfast with lots of fresh options, excellent location near everything and only few minutes away from Ultra Europe venue, good AC, grocery and liquer stores next to the hotel, comfy beds and pillows.

At first arrival it was slightly harder to find than accommodations usually and the location area isn’t the prettiest of places.

The location was around a ten minute walk from Split old town centre, which was very convenient. The staff were very friendly and during check-in they gave us an overview of what we can do, how to get places and even provided us with a big map of Split. The room was very comfy, and clean - highly recommend.

It is just worth noting that the hotel is part of a wider sort of commercial building - first impression was the area was a little strange, but once you walk onto the main road (less than a minute away) everything is fine.

Very friendly staff. Easy to find location. I would definitely recommend to couples / solo travellers. 15 min walk to downtown Split. I had checkout early in the morning and they offered to prepare me a bag with sandwich, water and banana for the road! - going the extra mile! :)

The staff preparing the rooms in the mornings (or cleaning) were quite loud..my door was next to their equipment room and I woke up as they were loud laughing and talking. A bit disturbing but all in all good :)

The hotel was pretty small and didn't have an elevator. But in our case the staff came and helped to carry our luggages upstairs to check-in. All in all the staff was super friendly and helpful! All the rooms had different names, not numbers which was a nice surprise :) Breakfastroom was quite small, but you could also eat on the balcony, where was maybe 5-6 tables - this way all the hungry people were able to fit in. The breakfast"basics" were the same every morning, but there was always some differenties also. A big thumbs up for the fresh fruits! And if you asked, you could get an omelette. On our last day we were able to leave our luggages in the reception after the check out and pick them up before we needed to head to the airport. There was a bus terminal nearby where you could travel to airport via local bus.

Rooms were modern and tastefully decorated. Great location with a short walk into the old town. Good base to see most of the main attractions. Paid parking available close by. Great breakfast selection with Gluten free options and lovely staff. Very clean and quickly serviced rooms. Nice bathroom and good shower.

Free parking was difficult to find but this is a problem across most of Split. Paid parking is available mostly in the evening but quickly filled during weekdays working hours. Room was a little on the small side and very warm.

The staff at this accommodation are outstanding. They messaged us before our arrival asking how we would like the rooms made up, whether we needed to arrange an airport taxi pick up which we did (very efficient service) and they made my Dad’s birthday very special by giving him a slice of cake at breakfast with a candle and leaving a card and chocolates on the bed completely unexpectedly.

The location does not appear that great from the outside and is a 15 minute walk from the main area. We were only told about the tourist tax when checking out and would have preferred to be informed and pay it on check in as we’d spent all our euros cash by that point.

located in a quiet area, about a 10 minute easy walk into the main area of split. Rooms were smaller than we thought but very comfortable and had everything we needed. Great air-conditioning, good hot shower, comfortable bed & pillows and a very good continental buffet breakfast. what really made this stay, however, were the staff - all very friendly and the reception staff were very helpful and knowlegable, always asked where we had been that day etc! Some higher rated hotels could learn something from them.

would have been nice to have a kettle though!
