I chose this hotel mainly for the SPA and I was EXTREMELY satisfied with the service. I had 6 treatments in 6 days ;-) Large selection of food for breakfast and every night a different themed dinners offered a very good quality of food.

Very poor TV channels selection. It' is ok to be oriented to please the guests mainly hosted in the premses but a 4* hotel should have more TV channels in different languages ... at least the news channels. BBC news was the only English channel available. All other TV channels - includng films and documentary - were in Russian, German and Polish.

Staff was beyond excellent. Even in peak hours they were utmost friendly and helpful. The hotel location was excellent with easy access to public beach which was always clean and maintained. We loved food, especially thematic dinners altering every day. Food in pool bar was average, yet still refreshing.

Cleanliness around swimming pool area happened to be poorer especially in the afternoon. Unfortunately, some people tend to leave behind plastic cups on the floor around pools and pool bar and it stayed there until evening some days. The hotel elevators are highly underrated encouraging people to use staircase instead of waiting in a line for elevators (not bad for health though :)

A little bit more attention on pillows and towels.

cleanliness of the hotel, food is tasty and varied, flexibility in accommodation conditions, you can swap lunch and dinner. Pools and aqua zone, perfect location, the sea is 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The beach is clean and sandy. The best combination of price and quality. thank you, it was a wonderful holiday that exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much. We will come again next year.

Inside pool shouldnt be with charge. It should be included in the room charge.

Great place for the family. Especially apartments area which is more quiet, has bigger rooms and separate pool. Very good food with different specialities each day for dinner. Nice pools. Just next to the sandy beach. Close to the city center with shops and restaurants.

Water in the pool was too cold, luckily sea was warm enough.

The staff at the restaurant is friendly and welcoming, making for a pleasant breakfast experience. The breakfast served is of high quality, and the rooms are spacious and cleaned daily. The swimming pool is well-maintained and provides a relaxing atmosphere. Additionally, the yoga classes offered are enjoyable and well-run. The location is good nearby statues Park, grocery stores and restaurants Overall was an enjoyable experience!

Access to the spa facilities, such as the sauna and jacuzzi, requires an additional fee, as do the sun chairs located on the beach. Furthermore, it was observed that even the adaptors, which are typically provided on loan in most high-quality hotels, in Melissi were being sold to the guest. The cot was a good brand Chicco but unfortunately, apparently, a hard board located below the mattress was missing. The ladies that settle the room gently put on two mattresses but we could still feel the crib structure.

The moment we arrived, hotel staff impressed us with the attitude. Everyone was very polite and helpful: receptionist, cleaning ladies, restaurant hosts and waitresses, animation team. I'd rate staff 11 out of 10. Rooms were nice and clean, beautiful view on the pool/sea side. Cleaning happened every day, consistent and at the same time (after breakfast and before the lunch). Beds were quite comfortable. Air-conditioning actually responded to the control panel and we were able to set proper temperature. Food was good and diverse, there were typical continental breakfast dishes as well as local specialties. Animation team was very entertaining, a lot of people including myself were engaging in different activities like water polo and volleyball. Mini disco for kids in the evening and games and drawing during the day. Hotel has direct access to a beautiful beach with sunbeds and stuff, so we were always able to choose if we want the pool or the sea. All in all, great experience. I am not sure if we return to Cyprus, but if we do, this hotel will be the first option to consider.

The only thing we did not like is people "reserving" sunbeds with towels. I guess that's the way with most of the hotels. But if I am to pick one thing to improve, that would be the sunbed reservation issue.

The hotel is new, with elegant common spaces, and clean and comfortable. It is located in a very quiet part of the resort, but not far by main attractions. In addition there is a bus station right in front. The pool garden is more beautiful than the pictures .The service on the pool bar is very good with very acceptable prices.The beach in front of the hotel is pretty pleasant - sandy and without stones on the sea entrance. In comparison with other hotels toward the port this is the best part of the beach. The resort center and the port is very close and reachable by feet for about 10 min. The service is very effective and friendly, we felt really welcomed. They organize some entertainment, but the main athmosphe is relaxed and calm. The rooms are basically furnished but they have the facilities you might need like coffee and tea maker. Minibars are not stocked. The breakfast is good, not lots of choices and lack of fresh fruit, but you won’t stay hungry.Overall very good hotel for relax in a very good value.

Melissi Beach Hotel & Spa has a number of great qualities including really friendly and helpful staff. We were a party of three so requested an extra bed which they were able to provide. When booking, we were even given details on a taxi service we could use which was equally affordable and easy to arrange. The hotel also provides towels which you can take to the nearby pools or the beach which was only a short walk away. Nice breakfast that ends at 10am and is really close to a lot of restaurants. The main strip is also about a 10 minute walk away. We also treated ourselves to some treatments at the spa which was an incredible experience!

Whilst it can't really be avoided, there was a small damp smell in the lifts, probably due to the close proximity to the pools so people will walk in wet. The second bed was uncomfortable to sleep on - however, the hotel was happy to accomodate extra pillows etc when requested.
