Nice modern rustical hotel with parking in the back. Great location - just a short walk to historic center. Helpful staff, but most of them don't speak english. Room is not so big but it's really nice, bathroom also. Breakfast was delicious and served in a small garden of the hotel where there's also a small restaurant (but a bit expensive).

Our room had no window and was right next to the restaurant's garden so it was a bit noisy. We had some problem with hot water (not working properly).

The location was perfect for going on day trips around Northern Cyprus and for visiting the Southern part of Nicosia. Each evening we went out and passed the Ledra Street Crossing Point to the Greek side of the city; everything was so close and very convenient. The building itself was also beautiful, and we enjoyed the breakfast every morning - though it became a bit repetitive getting the exact same breakfast four days in a row.

Our room was located on the ground floor, and the only window was the small one in the bathroom, pointing at the hotel's dining area. The result was a pretty dark room with basically no natural lighting, and feeling kinda exposed to the people sitting outside having dinner. I'd recommend getting a room on an upper floor. We also had some problems with the water heating in the shower, but these were fixed when we requested help.

It's a charming old building set in the heart of the city. It was a joy to return to after a day's sightseeing. There was a restaurant if you didn't feel like going out in the evening. Breakfast was great too. The room was really lovely. Little bit old but nicely restored. A little courtyard out the back as well. The staff were very pleasant too.

Everything was lovely. At some point there were power outages but this may not have been the hotels fault. They passed.

Staff great, location very convenient for restaurants and bars and also the dolmus station. Hotel very ambient. All very clean. Staff and owner extremely friendly. Chico the parrot in reception was also extremely chatty 😂.

Initial problem with the shower door which was awaiting a new part for repair but the hotel went out of their way to move us to a different room when we asked. Excellent customer service.

Hotel Valide Hanim Konak is a rustic 100 year old home converted into a small boutique hotel. The staff were attentive, friendly & helpful. The Turkish breakfast was generous and a great way to start the day.The room was comfortable and the courtyard good to relax in. A great place to return to after seeing the fabulous sites of Nicasia! Gorgeous place. We felt that we had a stay in museum. Everything is authentic and comfortable at the same time. The parrot at the reception is adding wonderful atmosphere to the hotel! Very close to the city border, but it's very easy to cross by feet. To use the car you need special insurance. Hotel is highly recommended, the best one. You will see!

The location of the hotel from the Ledra border crossing is very conveniant. Hotel is extremly well maintained and tastefuly decorated. The welcoming was very warm and accomodating. We got additional informations we asked for, and even got accompanied with the staff to the bus station. The room was very clean and nicely arranged. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was outstanding, served in the patio in the back of the hotel. Freshly made egs and chese, olives, vegetables, jams, tea and coffe. Staff was extremly nice and patient. Very quite, clean and memorable place I would highly recommend it.

The size of the room is a bit small.

house in the best style of old stone houses in Nicosia. It has high ceilings and is after a very tasteful renovation. The design of the hotel is beautiful, the staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms have their own bathroom, they are clean, the air conditioning works well, the breakfast is delicious. The hotel is inside the walls so it is walking distance to everywhere, the location is good and safe. We stayed with my family for only one night but would have loved to stay longer. I can highly recommend it.

Beautiful small hotel, with excellent location in the city center. Very kind staff. We were pleasantly surprised with free tea and coffee. The hotel staff helped us with washing our clothes and did not charge us for the sevice. Free parking just behind the hotel. Nicely decorated backyard with a lot of plants where we had breakfast and coffee breaks. Very pleasant place to stay!

We did not mind at all, but just as an info for future guests - rooms are quite small, and the third bed was accesible only with wooden ladders (not realy for older and clumsy people). Most of the staff do not speak english or speak very little english, but google translate and their smiles make it irrelevant. :-)

This was an absolutely stunning hotel in a great location. The decoration of the rooms and restaurant were beautiful and well thought out, with everything needed. The breakfast was great and the staff friendly. While we didn't eat there, the restaurant smelled amazing and we wished we had.

Rooms not as sound proof as they could have been but didn't effect our stay at all so really couldn't fault it.
