Friendly staff, clean room, 2 AC's (!), late check out was possible, breakfast was basic but good, very good price for what you get! 24h reception, close to the beach, would recommend a lot!

I know that this is very common in many countries, but I hate when hotels don't have bedsheets for the blankets. So they provide a thin sheet AS the blanket, but it was March and got quite cold at night, so they provide blankets to put on top but no bedsheet for that. There's just no way to not get in contact and I doubt that they get washed regularly as they are quite thick. Maybe that's just concerning me..

A charming and clean hotel with excellent value for money. The hotel staff is great and patient, every request was answered immediately. We stayed in the family villa which was cleaned every day (except Sunday) Every day put shampoo and clean towels. The 3 air conditioners in the villa worked great. The pool is clean and tidy but there is no lifeguard. A stunning view from the lawns,breakfast bar and pool complex. In addition, a good price list of taxis and attractions at the hotel reception,we purchased Jeep safari through. There is strong Wi-Fi everywhere in the hotel and each family villa has its own router. I should note that there were USB sockets in both rooms so there was no need for a UK power adapter for phones. Bus stations for both directions is just in front. Overall we had an amazing stay, even before the stay there were quick answers from the staff for every question through the booking chat mechanism -this is always a welcome service.

*There is not enough variety at breakfast and it repeats itself from day to day. *It's a shame that there are no stairs from the villas complex directly into the hotel, but there is a sandy bypass path. *The balconies of the villas are a bit neglected and dusty. *The transition to the nearest beach is uncomfortable and a bit rocky *The hotel kiosk is quite expensive.

Every aspect of our stay at Helios was superb, from communication before arrival to its excellent location, cleanliness and courtesy of staff. We had a superior 1 bed sea view (front) apartment with wonderful views of the sunset. We opted to pay for breakfast 4 out of our 8 days and found the selection to be more than adequate with a good variety. While we didn’t cook in the apartment it was equipped with everything you may need, though recommend taking scissors, a tea towel & oven gloves. The mattresses and sofa beds were so comfortable that my sons have been asking if we can buy one! Shampoo, shower gel and toilet roll was provided and topped up daily. The aircon was very efficient. There were always sun beds available around the pool and the saw only 1 cat a handful of times) despite reviews suggesting otherwise. There is a laundry room available at a cost of €4 per load (€3 for drier and €2 for detergent - we took our own). Rooms were made up daily and towels replaced. We loved the fact it was on a quiet beach but within east reach of livelier places. We hired a car and enjoyed eating out at local restaurants as well as driving to Aphrodite baths, Troodos mountain area and Latchi. Highly recommend Melitza Taverna for best mezze experience and Pepperoni pizzeria for handmade pizza! We would happily stay at Helios Apartments again and cannot recommend them highly enough for quality, clean accommodation at a fair price in a prime location.

Nothing to fault.

Very clean and intimate hotel with nice staff, a great swimming pool and overall a very good vibe. There are a few nice restaurants in walking distance and theres a bus station right outside the hotel, which makes commuting pretty easy. We will definitely come back!

It could have been helpful to have a microwave in the room, in addition to the stove and oven. Also, a small playground or some swings will make a really nice addition. As written in some of the reviews, the beach next to the hotel is very pretty but not suitable for children, as it is rocky and the waves are high.

Great location, being able to permanently see the sea and also to watch the sunset from your terrace or from the pool was just extraordinary! The place was very clean and well equipped: new and nice furniture, full kitchen, including oven and stove for cooking. Loved the fact that the staff cleaned and replenished with new towels every day! Close to Sandy Beach and also easy to get to town via bus. Nice pool bar, comfortable sunbeds, clean and large enough pool, sauna, gym, all in all great for a relaxing vacation!

The only recommendation would be to make sure the “do not disturb” signs could stay on the doorknob, because due to the wind it kept falling and the cleaning ladies would enter the room not seeing the sign on the door.

The location was breathtaking, with very nice garden and a pool bar. The gym was also a good plus. The front desk information are very varied and the staff helped us with recommendations for restaurants near by. The studio had side se view and was very confortable and spacious.

There was a small incident where the cleaning staff entered the room and cleared it out before our checkout. This was obviously a logistical error, the front desk manager appollogized and offered a compensation. Overall. our experience was not hindered by the incident. The way the manager handles problems is a great statement for their professionalism.

Helios Bay is a lovely place. Great location, sea view is amazing and sunsets as well. Beds are comfortable, rooms are specious. The kitchen was equipped with all necessities. Check-in is easy and staff is friendly. Beach is very close but we went to the Coral Bay beach, one of the most beautiful in this area. Bus stop is opposite the entrance. We used the gym and tennis table. We admitted that staff tries to do their best and be invisible. Pool is a good option when the weather is stormy. We rented a car (the rental agency is around the corner) and we could park a car in the hotel parking what was very comfortable. I'd prefer to rent a car at the airport but Booking presented us a free transfer. when we came back to the airport, agency allowed to leave the car at the airport parking without additional fee. We shopped in the Lidl or Philippos (you can go by car or by bus). During our holiday we visited many landmarks nearby. We started with Erdo III, Sea Caves, White Cliffs and Avakas Gorge Natural Trail (it was amazing) we went there by car. The next day it was Paphos Zoo, don't miss time when they feed lemurs. The Tombs of Kings is only 10 minutes by car and Paphos promenade with "Pelican restaurant". If you want to eat delicious food - on the right 10 minutes walk is Georgian restaurant (cheap and tasty) and on the right (5 minutes by car) Sea you cafe (English people prefer it).

I don't think that pool bar staff knows something about hospitality it's only a daily routine for them. I don't blame them but I didn't want to go there.

Beautiful place, great hotel, friendly and helpful staff. They cleaned the room every day. Pool area was clean, there always were free sunbeds. The sea is right under the hotel. You can see it from the pool bar. There is a beach next to the hotel with huge waves but a short walk to the other way and you can swin in a much calmer see too at St. Goerge beach. There are taverns and supermarkets in the near distance of the hotel. There is a bus station in front of the hotel, it is easy to explore Paphos by bus. We spent here a great holiday.

Breakfast could have been a bit more varied but we could ate well every day.

This is a fantastic place to stay, I really enjoyed my time here. It's great value for money, cocktails are cheap. It's not overly busy so there's always space around the pool for everyone. Staff were so lovely and helped us with so many things (ordering taxis into Paphos centre, taxi service to the airport, recommending restaurants). The maids were also lovely and did a really good job of keeping the place clean and tidy. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance as well. I've also seen a lot of reviews about not being able to swim at the beach, you actually can swim at this beach but there is about a metre of rocks and stones to get over before it's just flat sand underneath. It is a challenge to get over and the waves don't make it easy but if you're a good swimmer it's definitely worth giving it a go 😂

The main room and bedroom were big enough, nice balcony, the pool was fine, but a bit small. The personal was extremely friendly, they even offered us ice for cocktails for free that saved us as it was hot even for locals during our stay. As we walked around we understood how happy we are as we have sandy beach close, because the rest hotels are on rocks. But most of all we liked Coral Bay beach that is just 10mins on a bus with great pink sandy beach. Good breakfast with everything you need: vegetables, eggs, cheese and ham, fruits, muesli, hummus... Great Monoi trees, different cactuses, avocado and papaya trees in garden!

The bathroom was really small. As my daughter said: we missed pancakes for breakfast :)
