The location and price are perfect. You have everything you need for a short stay. It is relatively calm, cosy and clean, especially for a hostel. The interior design is modest but fun. The staff is kind. There is a historical ambience all around. Reasonable privacy. The heater is working well. The kitchen is well-equipped.

At times, there is a bit of disturbing noise from the street or neighbours in the hostel. Over-modestly furnished. Uncomfortable pillows (subjective). You balance opening the window next to your pillow to get fresh air inside and closing it again to prevent cold and city noise in a 6 sq m room.

I was accomodated in the part named Hostel Francin. That building has nice, new, clean and spacious rooms. There is a kitchen and fridge with freezer provided. Specifically there was bathroom in my room. I appreciate that coffee, towels, hand soap, and toilet paper were provided as well. I have been to this hostel many times. It's important to choose the right room and the building. The prices are the best in Brno as well as the location!

There was a problem with the wifi connection. But it's usually working 100%, so not a big deal.

The room and the whole place were exceptionally clean, everything looked new and bright. The bed was very comfortable and there was a kitchen with all the utensils you could ever need. The location is unbelievable - everything is only about 5 minutes away, whether it is a restaurant, bar or even the sights for sightseeing.

The showers were a little bit underwhelming, leaving water everywhere after you finished showering, but it was nothing one could not manage and put up with. Downstairs is a hall where celebrations are happening and right now there was a ball of some kind, so it was a little bit loud, but it wasn't too much and you could still fall asleep.

This time I stayed in room A bed 5 in other building. Which is located even closer to city center. It was quite queit given that it was on first floor above street. Room was decorated in medival style, but bathroom was still modern. Price was really good for Brno.

Stairs to room are quite high and there is not much space to ceiling so I had problems but I am quite tall. There was problem with toilet flushing, but I reported it to reception. Wifi was quite poor on my bed but it was OK in rest of the room.

The position is great, the room was basic but very comfortable and the staff was helpful, they even let us store our luggage after check out until our train was due. Overall, a great stay!

There was nothing I didn't like, but if it's very hot outside the room can get a bit stuffy and if you sleep with the windows open you might hear people outside drinking and talking (albeit not loud), so maybe pack a couple of ear plugs just to be sure :)

Excellent location in the city center. The location in the center was amazing, it was very close to everywhere. The price was adequate. Pleasant service at the reception. I can recommend.

Noise from the street on a saturday night, but it's understandable because it's in the city center, it was hot and I had to have the window open because of the air flow. The other nights of my stay here were already quiet.

My review is made from perspective of person who spent three nights in dormitory. Location of this hostel is amazing, it's situated in a few steps from most important points in city. Kitchen is alright, it's not luxurious but for hostels' standards it's pretty good. It has electric cooker, microwave and electric kettle. Price for night is dirt cheap so it's great place for weekend trip to Brno. The beds were comfortable.

Walls in rooms are thin so there's risk for you to have trouble with going to sleep caused by loud neighbors. For one morning both toilets didn't have toilet paper.

It is worth to admit that this hostel has an excellent value-for-money ratio. Great localization close to everything in the city center of Brno. Generally well designed rooms and spaces in specially arranged tenement for that. Lift is necessary advantage. Really helpful hostel staff.

Well, the only thing I could wish be better were bathrooms. They are not as that bad as I saw in other places of sometimes higher budget, but it can always be cleaner and someone could fix the attachment for shower head and but some shelves and hooks for clothes or towel. Other than that it's worth its price.

The cleaning lady in the hotel francin was very disrespectful like she always make a loud noise ,she cannot wait and even we are eating she’s spraying like we can check out between 9 to 11 ,since that’s the rules she need to respect some guess she cannot clean yet until evryone still there or make us some respect.I noticed this problem 3x since I always booked to the hotel ,she is very rude .

value for money, room was minimalistic enough with good internet coverage. Showers and toilets were in acceptable quality for price. Location is in center so sometimes you can hear people from street but it is in centre so it is acceptable.

Some people left lights on when they leave toilet or shower in shared areas for night, but thats on other customers not host.
