The breakfast is served until 11.00 am, which was very helpful for us to take a bit more rest. The location was excellent, very near to all sights of Riga Old Town. You get the feeling that the whole town, the Dome and the central squares, are an extension of your home. I do want to thank the two girls at the front desk, Di and Katrina, who were always available with a friendly smile to help us and satisfy our wishes during our staying. Do not hesitate to talk to them, and they will do the best they can to satisfy you. Well done girls, keep on the good job.

Well, it is normal that in the very heart of the old town there are many people, tourists, bars, cafes. One may say that the hotel is noisy, some music is heard in rooms, but in working days the bars close quite early, and the whole place is really quiet.

The location is wonderful, right next to the cathedral and the Christmas market. Easy check-in. The staff took into account the requests made. The breakfast is quite rich, but the products are of average freshness. We felt quite safe in the hotel. The rooms are of a decent size, corresponding to the images in the photos.

The sewage system in the house is not working properly, so there is a periodic bad smell in the bathrooms. We contacted the staff about this, but the problems persisted. This is indeed a tourist class hotel.

Very good location in the middle of Old Riga. Breakfast was good, there was everything we needed.

If you come by car: when entering old town you have to buy street parking and find a slot to your car before checking in. And that is a real task! Only after checking in you are able to buy a ticket and drive to the hotels own, warded car park. Hand shower would be a good addition - one wouldn’t need to shower the whole body in order to wash only feet..

Excellent location, right in the very old town, every landmark is accessible by foot! Very friendly, helpful and accomodating staff, clean rooms, tasty breakfast with great variety of meals. The rooms are quite modest, but very clean and comfortable. If you are arriving by car, the staff can arrange parking which is nearby for a very affordable price.

Only few minor things- the shower head in the bathroom is built into the wall, so it makes showering somewhat uncomfrotable. There is no minibar in the room, keep this in mind if you want to store cool some items. Also no kettle, but this is not such a big deal as there is a coffee machine at the reception.

Very good hotel located in the Old Town. Very good value for money. Good breakfast with one exception only, namely scrambled eggs made of industrial, military type egg powder. However, hard boiled eggs were also available as well as other various foodstuff. Simple but entirely sufficient equipment and furnishing.

Floor in the room was not well cleaned, probably because it is covered by not the newest kind of surface difficult to clean. The hotel is on pedestrian only street, but taxi can stop no more than 100-150 m. from the entrance, so this is not a problem.

The hotel boasts a prime location right in the midst of the old city, a mere 5 minutes from major tourist attractions. They offer a delightful breakfast, especially if you have a taste for Eastern European cuisine, complemented by coffee or tea. Despite its central location, the hotel remains peaceful. The staff were exceptionally friendly and assisted us with transportation reservations

The family room was decent but nothing spectacular. The decor in the rooms and bathroom had a slight military base vibe to it

We had to walk for parking, but only approx 300m so not too bad. Has to pay for coffee in the reception area, which is normally free in other hotels. We got put into a very small room. Did not look like the rooms in the pictures (we had a small attic room)- was told you have to book direct with them to get the larger rooms apparently.

The hotel is located in the heart of the oold riga, within walking distance to major city attractions. Like Dome square, house of the black heads many shopping streets. Great value for money. The room was clean, spacious and quite. The building is old but there's an elevator.

The guy named Oskar is not professional and needs a lot of training in the hospitality industry and business. Every time I ask him a question he says "I don't know". Questions about city attractions and locations. I made this clear to the manager and he apologized in return for this behaviour. He needs some training.

Spacious but basic rooms but hotel room is for sleeping, so one does not really need that much. The staff was very friendly and helpful and breakfast was more than sufficient. Very good location (Rimi Express and plenty of restaurants just around the corner) and great value for your money.

The view was not perhaps the best possible, but one cannot get everything. The room did not have AC, so it might be pretty hot during summer months.

The location is perfect if you need to have everything that The Old Town has to offer on your doorstep - just like the Rigensis bakery you have literally 5 steps away. The staff (Romans and Kristine) are friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet is basic but covers most needs (sweet and savoury options). My room was on top floor, so it came with the view to die for (seeing the bells ring on the Riga’s Dome Cathedral is an additional wow-factor).

I sleep really tight but if you’re sensitive to noise, it might be tricky for you to get your 8 hours of sleep as there are lots of restaurants around, offering live gigs till quite late at night. So those ear plugs provided by the hotel will come in very handy! I’m usually very picky when it comes to hygiene and the PVC floor covering didn’t look super clean but everything else was just fine. Not a fan of showers without a shower hose but maybe other rooms do actually have them. The wifi jumps on and off a little bit - given the top floor - but that happens everywhere, so not an issue at all.
