I always trust the quality that you get from Hilton. Budget hotel with premium quality. Booked a single room for a 1 night's staycation. But decided to extend for another night. And the staff, Sabrina was kind enough to upgrade my room to a queen room with KL Tower view. The rooftop bar has a great view of KL. Food quality was okay but could be better. However, the service I got from the staff especially Cristina, Fazilah, and Farah was great. Love the buffet breakfast. Quite a variety but not as much as the Hilton or DoubleTree, but great enough for me considering this is Garden Inn. And the staff there also helpful. Always offer to serve coffee/tea etc. Other than that, it was all good. Comfy bed, hot shower, air-cond, etc. Nothing to complain about. And the hotel corridor was filled with lemongrass aroma. Very refreshing!

Single room on the first night: - One of the socket outlets near the window can't be used. Asked the housekeeping for an adapter but didn't get it. - Shower head was not in good condition. Need to be replaced. Breakfast buffet: For the congee section - it would be great if the salted/fried fish is cut into small pieces. The whole fish is quite big. Salted egg shells should be peeled off as what I saw in other hotels. Fruits should be checked for their freshness before serving. I found some pieces of honeydew melon sour and spoiled.

Not a bad location, my view was great of the Petronas towers. Catering staff were great although the managers were quite militant. Located near a next to a market which has a range of fruits that I went to on a daily basis. The rooftop pool and restaurant/ bar is a good touch. You get a great view of the city.

The elevator was so slow and kept breaking down. Avoid going on the middle elevator, it's got a mind of it's own. Breakfast was ok, shame that the juices weren't fresh, it was an orange drink more than a juice.

Nice rooftop pool with a gorgeous view! The big room with 2 double beds has a big 4-5 metre curved panorama window with a KL Tower view. In front of the panorama window there is a 3 metre long curved sofa/bench with cushions and a kind of a movable writing desk. I enjoyed sitting on that bench a lot, doing my paperwork . I liked the view from the 13th (?) floor. The bathroom is spacious, with a big mirror and- rare in Malaysia- a separate shower area so after taking a shower the bathroom is not flooded. Due to the size and beauty of room and bathroom and rooftop pool I felt very well and would come back here!

The panorama window was dirty, especially from the outside. I did not like the area where the hotel is located. You can see there must have been better times.

First, what makes the hotel great is the staff. And it was amazing, the receptionists were really nice! The pool was in shade in the morning (and full of kids), in the afternoo there was sun and not so many people. Amazing view from the rooftop facing Petronas Towers & KL TV Tower. Very nice amenities (cosmetics) in the bathroom. We would definitely stay there again!

When we were on ur first way to the room, we "met" a big cockroach (we reported it at the reception) in the corridor. BUT, it was the first and the last time we saw insect in the hotel. There were stains on the walls and on the ceiling in our room. Also the room was prepared for just one person. The lifts are a bit busy during the day. So it may take quite a few minutes to get especially down. They were literally stopping in every floor.

In general the staff at The Hilton Garden Inn South were very good. Smiling, welcoming and helpful. Rooms - we had two rooms: Queen room, which was adequate in size, especially for a short trip. And a Twin room, which was actually for one person so was more than adequate in size. Breakfast - a buffet style breakfast and it catered for both domestic and international guests to a high standard. I liked the breakfast timing 6:30am to 10:30am it catered for those wanting an early start as well as those wanting a lie in. I found the use of common sense and a general inclination to be helpful refreshing and warming.

Even though there are 3 lifts, they are really slow. With the number of floors in the hotel and consequently the number of guests either a new lift system is required or one of the staff lifts needs to be made available for the guests. I appreciate this is particularly relevant in the morning and evening rush, when guests are leaving the hotel or returning to it from their day out in KL. Nevertheless, it can be irritating when the lift stops 5- 7 times before reaching the ground floor at busy times. The table in the Queen room needs replacing. I say this yet I didn't really need it, but other guests will. Another minor point - soundproofing could be improved.

A few days ago, me and my friend stayed at this hotel, and I am totally satisfied with all, staffs were polite and friendly, the atmosphere and view from the rooftop was amazing, and cleaning service pretty good. Location is also comfortable just 20 minutes walk away from the twin towers, not so far from KLCC. So I recommend this hotel:)

Probably the thing that I did not like is wifi, bcs of some reasons I could not connected to room's wifi at all, I dunno why maybe it depended on my phone configurations, and staffs couldn't also help me, but my friend could easily connect, so I think, the problem Related with my phone.

Very polite and helpful staff, rooms were clean and well equipped. Breakfast was great. You can communicate with the front desk staff via WhatsApp, which was very helpful. Nice rooftop bar with pool and an amazing view. There is a bus stop right in front of the hotel and a monorail station 5-10 min by foot.

Rooftop pool closes at 7pm which is why we never got to use it. We were typically out in town during the day and when we came back to the hotel after dinner the pool was already closed. Couldn't really understand why that is. It would be really nice if the pool would stay open until later in the evening. Also the food in the restaurant and the rooftop bar was mediocre while being pretty expensive for KL standards. You can easily eat a lot better for less money in town.

Roof top pool and bar, great views. Individual controlled air conditioning. Comfy bed . 24 HR reception and security in lobby.

Although the room and bedding was clean and suitable for our purpose. The general air of the hotel was one that was in need of redecoration and update. Looking quite tired in places. Food served in the roof top restaurant was very average and not good value for money. Just have pre dinner drinks here and explore the local restaurants for better dining options.

The pillows are great and comfortable. The Roof Top Bar (25th floor) provided an amazing view of the Twin Tower and the KL Tower. Great breakfast over the weekend despite waking up late on a Monday morning (food were still available at 10:00am). Location wise = excellent (a walking distance to Chow Kit Metro).

There was a large blood stain on one of the pillows (sigh!). Booked here several weeks in advance due to the availability of interconnecting rooms but upon check-in, it was not available and I had to be separated from my spouse & daughter for the weekend. Hot water shower = takes time to warm up

The bed was very comfortable, and the room was good enough for the price, the view was great directly looking into the Menara tower and you could even see the twin towers to your left if you stretch your neck a bit :D

The location was convenient, but the locality is not the best lot of shady looking places and people around I wouldn't fancy going out of the hotel at night, the hotel itself is nice but the bathroom door lock wasn't working, and you cannot close it all the way which was a bit of a low point. Breakfast is okay but dinner could see some improvement given how much is charged for it for a half-board booking.
