We had a nice stay at Mex Hotels. Its centrally located in Downtown Cancun so we could literally walk from the ADO bus station. Our room was huge with a comfortable bed, desk and lovely shower. It also had storage which was a great touch. The restaurant downstairs was expensive but not bad, we ate there twice but mainly nipped to all the delicious restaurants that are in 10 minute walking from the place. It's also very easy

Nothing it was fit for purpose! Nothing crazy special about it and of course the price is high but we had a nice room & and its Cancun after all everything is expensive.

The staff was really welcoming, friendly and professional. Empathic towards some unforeseen circumstances we found ourselves, and open to support and help.

The shower is difficult to manage, it took us a long time to get away from boiling water so we wasted a lot of water in the shower. The lights were turned on every day after we returned from being out all day, I thought it was not very ecological. The AC was at 12 degrees when we entered the room which was too cold and unnecessary, also not very ecological. All the rest, great!

Recommend large jugs of water each floor to refill water bottles instead of plastic bottles in the room, cheaper also for hotel. Have shampoo dispensers on the wall mounted, instead of small plastic bottles, less plastic and cheaper for the hotel. room is clean but needs a deep, clean marks on the wall. It should get a magic eraser and Mr clean and do room once per year. should allow two key cards. my partner and I in different times back to room a bit frustrated to ask to be let in by front desk. All that said I like this hotel!

The location is perfect! Only 5 to 7 minutes walking to ADO Cancún bus station. The bed was very comfortable, and the room was cleaned. AC temperature in the room was ideal, with a big tv. BIG Compliment, after check out I was able to stay at the lobby until 5:30 PM and at the restaurant working, while the hotel looked after my luggage. The hotel has a Starbucks in the lobby! Also, the breakfast was fresh and tasty ($220).

The water in the shower is not hot, it is only warm and the warmer you need it the less pressure it gives, however, because the weather outside is hot there's not much need for super hot water, but the hotel should definitely take a look at that and let the guest decide I showered at 6ish AM and warm water wasn't bad, it felt refreshing. I would definitely return. Minor incident at the breakfast Buffett, communication between employees needs to be reinforced. (They kept asking for my payment receipt, which while eating is a little bit annoying) - .

I was looking for a location in town with quick access to the ADO to have a bus in the morning to the airport. The hotel is 5min max. away from ADO station, and it is in a side street, so for me it was silent at night. The room is fine, clean, spacious. The rooftop with the pool is well done, great atmosphere. Pool is not heated, but refreshing :-) Didn't need any service, nor breakfast. I expected much less for the price, so I was very nicely surprised and would recommend this hotel for a short stay in Cancun city. I had a great sleep. Great value for the money.

The Aircondition indeed does not stop, even if you turn it off. For me it was ok, but it might be bothersome to some people. The Aircon is above the door and blows into the room. The bed was at the other wall, so the aircon flow was to the floor, and not directly towards the bed, which was good.

The design/architecture of the hotel is beautiful. I like the touch of wood in everything. Good price too. They have gym, swimming pool and bar area which is overlooking the place.

Its clean,comfortable, accessible to everywhere but the only thing is the extra door in my room that when you open,theres another door going to the nxt room but there is no door knob to open, you can clearly hear the tv or if the people staying on the other room are talking.

I stayed for two nights, book ending a trip inland. I stayed solely as it’s so close to the bus station. The pool and the gym are especially nice. The bed is huge and reasonably comfortable.

Both nights I stayed were blustery and kinda cool and I could not turn the AC off, there are no extra blankets so I doubled the duvet. The breakfast is expensive for the quality and range, only had it once. The coffee machine is off limits so your restricted to vat coffee which wasn’t terrible but had to ask for milk from behind the service counter every time which is boring.

Breakfast was very good. Location is excellent: a short walk to ADO bus station. I especially liked that the location of my room was quiet!

It was difficult to turn on the AC! I had to get someone to come to the room to show me. A large piece of furniture needed to be moved to flip a switch to get the AC working. I also did not like that there was NO CEILING FAN in the room. I prefer a ceiling fan instead of AC especially during this time of year when it is not extremely hot. I know other travelers who prefer a room with a ceiling fan and no AC.

It is conveniently located near the ADO bus station (walkable - 5 minutes), so that's a plus point. Additionally, it has many chill restaurants at a walkable distance and Mercado 23, and 28 are within 2km. It also has a Starbucks right within the hotel. There is an OXXO store within 300 mtrs. They have parking too.

The shower was not that great, hot water wasn't hot, it was warm at best.

Room is modern and clean. I loved the rooftop terrace with swimming pool, restaurant, game room and dj set on saturday night. We went to sleep early and the music was not reaching the rooms. Hair drier and extra towels available at reception. The private indoor parking is definetly a plus. I felt very safe thanks to all the security they provide at the door.

Nothing. We needed a spot close to the ferry to isla mujeres and the location was ideal for our purpose. If you look to go to the beach or the party area, I believe the location is not good.
