close to mall

my room was not provided with soap and shampoo. it was mentioned when I booked that maximum 3 people stays in the room but I was charged for the third person with us.

Great location, view over water and city. Christmas lights in the city were amazing, we felt very safe even at night in this area, Mall of Asia across the road, great location. Room facilities all worked, great aircond.We ordered breakfast in the restaurant and it was massive and value for money. You could have a bottle of wine with dinner and take the remainder of the bottle upstairs. Restaurant staff very helpful provided ice for drinks in our room, cold and hot water available in dispenser near the lift. Concierge very helpful with baggage and in and out of grab cars. Take care when walking, navigating with maps accuracy of location is consistent and we had Globe SIMS.

At checkin we were allocated a room with one bed, so we went back to reception and they reallocated a room with 2 beds and a fantastic city view as booked.

The room was clean, and the beds was ok. Nice view of the bay. The staff was very nice. THe restaurant in the ground level was very authentic filipino. Really like the local dishes that was served.

Theres no bar supply, and the room service food compared to the one served in the ground level was a bit disappointing. The location is a bit of walk to manila bay and Mall of asia.

The room was clean and spacious. we had 2 queen beds though needed only one. Everything worked - the tv, the aircon remote, the water heater and mixture with hot and cold, the towels were complete large and small, it would be nice to have a mat inside the shower area to prevent slipping on the wet floor. The check in staff were really pleasant and courteous. No haughty attitude.

Frankly, nothing. The doorman even lent us an umbrella to cross over to the S'Maison across because it was raining. Thats not common because they only had the umbrellas for clients going down or up to the cars.

Convenience. It was easy to get in and out. Mall of Asia (showing signs of wear) is near but the walk is still far needing us to park in the mall parking itself to save time from the walk if you know you will have to carry heavy things from shopping there. The staff on our floor are accommodating with our need for bed making throughout our stay. The staff in Millie's dining are top of the class service, although the meals are predictable the longer we stayed but it may not matter for people who will only stay for 1 or 2 nights, without Millie's, I think I will rate this hotel lower. The pool upstairs is great with a staff available for any need, I think the floor next to the pool itself might need that long mat to avoid kids from slipping.

I did not like the fact that we are not supposed to carry our own luggages to our room. We have to use staff, great service but just not used to it I guess. Also, I thought it was just this hotel but it made me conclude based on my experience to one other hotel I stayed that they are charging extra for breakfast buffet for my son. I guess they are all couple friendly but not family friendly. This I think is very important, my sister left her phone charger, they are great in making sure she gets it back.

Very good location, walking distance to Mall of Asia. The hotel restaurant, Millies, van provides good quality food.

Without a doubt of course, it’s accessibility to restaurants & shopping areas. The employees are courteous(a Filipino trait wherever one goes), & Millie’s restaurant has delicious foods.

For one, the shower drain in both rooms we’ve stayed in were not draining very well. Why were these overlooked? The second one is not providing facial tissues inside the bathroom? Expect us to blow our noses with a toilet paper? Third, iron & ironing board that needed to be borrowed for an hour? Fourth, not enough outlet between the double beds to charge our iPhones,watches & other gadgets. I hope this can be resolved the next time I consider doing business with Microtel.

The big plus is the location, closeness to both the airport and walking distance to the Mall of Asia. The staff is very friendly and helpful, e.g. to book taxi via Grab app. The rooms are clean, spacious and beds are confy. You can find all the amenities of restaurants and stores in Mall of Asia. The aircon is very quite, so nights are peaceful, unless when there is a concert in the field next to the hotel (but then it's free concert view :) ).

The waterfront of Manila is rather underwhelming, so the views are not great. The swimming pool on the top is quite small also, so nothing to A bit run down facilities in general, and breakfast wasn't that great either.

This was the end of our sojourn in the Phillipines and we landed 8am from El Nido. Took a grab from the airport to the hotel. Our room was not ready but we left the luggage there and proceeded through the Conrad to the Mall of Asia. Eastern malls are just amazing. I think we ate our Bodyweight in food and shopped quite a bit. We got back to the hotel around 4pm and was able to check in the check out the amazing sunset on the rooftop. The pool is nice up there but small so we opted not to go in. The room was spacious and water pressure and temperature ideal. There are loads of eating options around and of course you could order whatever you wanted through the grab app. The rooms are a generous size, we had 2 double beds and there was loads of space for our 4 suitcases. There was a kettle and a fridge in the room. Housekeeping was very helpful, you could call them on the phone to request extra toiletries. Highly suggest you download the grab app and use the cash only option. I would absolutely stay in this hotel again. Thankfully we did not experience the manila traffic as we walked to the mall and got the taxi early to the airport the next day.

Well-located for travel within Manila for the most part.

More choices for an American Breakfast would have been nice. Looking out the window of our hotel room at the Canal - we witnessed an abundance of trash floating in the water - Not something one would expect to see from a Hotel Window - I don't know what the answer is (because the entire country litters with total disregard), but the issue does need to be addressed. Recommend adding classes in schools throughout the Philippines on "why" it is not good to Litter. Additionally, the Philippine Legislature could introduce a "No Littering Law" and enforce it with a fine.
