La Rosario is in a good location in the Historic district and walking distance to everything. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The beds had thick blankets so we were not cold and there were additional blankets and pillows available if needed. The shower was hot and water pressure was strong. There was a choice of 3 breakfast options all of which were good. The WiFi was good. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The communication before we arrived was very good. When there, the staff made suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants; they stored our bags all day on the day we left since our flight was only at 11:30pm at night; they arranged for transportation both from the airport when we arrived (someone waiting for us) and to the airport the day we left; we were able to use their facilities the whole day and evening that we left which was very helpful. Definitely great value for money.

An exceptional stay in Quito! From the charming historic district to the warm hospitality, every moment was remarkable. Outstanding service, beautiful surroundings, and delicious cuisine made our visit unforgettable. Can't wait to return to this enchanting city!

The room and bedding were very comfortable. The hotwater and pressure in the shower was excellent. There is parking available. The staff are great and very helpful! The breakfasts on the patio are very nice.

It can be very noisy with workers (construction type noise) starting at 8 am. Some of the rooms have windows that open up into a very echoey common area, if other guests are up being very noisy in the middle of the night, it will wake you up. The location is on the edge of not great, but we were out at night and it seemed fine.

It was very comfortable and clean! I also liked that Erika and the other staff were always smiling and helpful!

The only thing I was concerned about (not a big problem) was that the wifi didn't work well in the room, so I had to use it outside. If that could be improved, it would be perfect! (It seems to be under repair, so if you stay later, it may be improved.)

Good location between historical center (16 min walk) and Plaza Foch (38min), you can or you should walk from Plaza Foch to Park La Carolina Safer here just after sunset than near historical center. Hot water all the time I tried (4 nights there). Good internet. 7 min walk to Plaza San Blas from where most organized tours pick the travellers. Front desk operating 24h.

Some tours recommended pricier than from other hotels. No ac or heater, but did not affect me Nov. 10 to 14, 2023, temperature was very comfortable. Dogs across the street very loud and frequently yapping at night. Corridor facing rooms may be chosen, but without ac or fan may be difficult to rest.

Hotel with a great location. Both the old town and the metro are within walking distance. Staff friendly, quick to respond to questions. For a small extra fee, we were able to use the room earlier - a great option for those coming from a night bus. You didn't have to wait for hot water - it came as soon as you turned on the tap :) The breakfast is sufficient and delicious.

What I liked about the accommodation were the great location, the awesome little rooftop terrace, and the parking garage with connection to the hotel. But what made the stay perfect was the staff. Henry and his super nice female colleague from the reception were extremely helpful, always available and simply likeable. Another staff member even accompanied me on a walk in the evening to make sure nothing happened to me - just sweet! Thank you, guys!

You could hear people coming and going.The auto lights off and on in the hallway as we tried to sleep. This would be different depending on the circumstance. A room at the end of hallway might be better. Also my preference on the bed-it is built so the wall side is not able to be moved so I needed to crawl over my spouse or crawl off the end of the bed.
