We had a good impression from the first moment. The reception is very helpful and friendly. We didn't take much time to check in because upon arrival the room was ready, clean and has a nice view on Talaat Harb Street. Breakfast was very good with green salad. We liked Hostogram hotel very much thinking to back again. Thanks for all the team work. Cairo is wonderful

Great location, just a short walk to the city center and Egyptian Museum. Marco, the host, is very kind and honest—his advice was always in our best interest, which is rare in Cairo. The room was spacious with comfortable beds, and Rania, the cook, made delicious food. Overall, good value for the price.

Poor noise isolation, making it hard to sleep at night, because of the traffic noise. Cleanliness of the room can be improved.

So nice time I have already stayed in Hostogram hotel for one night but it was unforgettable experience because the hotel is located in the heart of Cairo in Downtown, it's very near by all touristic places. Many cafes and restaurants are around the hotel, it's near from everything. I enjoyed the nice view of the room. I liked my stay Thinking to back again.

This place was nice, clean and comfortable with ac, hot water and tv with a balcony with a nice city view, the room was pretty big, employees were nice too.. walking distance to everything, stores, restaurants, Ramses train station, Tutankhamen museum, Nile river and khan al Khalil bazar erected.. I really recommend it. I’ll definitely stay here again

I liked how hospitable and helpful were the staff especially Mr Marco, Ms.Rania and people on the reception Omar, Mohammed and Mina. They treated guests with high morals. Hostgram got to be our home. For business purposes in Cairo, we also booked for our crew in Hostgram. Though they stayed for short time all their paperwork and stay was arranged by Mr.Marco with high responsibility sense. Everything was arranged and done in time... The style of the place is old and modren at the same time. Not only that I gained a good and safe place to stay at whenever I come to Egypt but also I gained a family

Unforgettable experience Really we had a nice time in Hostogram hotel since we had all services and we got what we expected. The location is more than wonderful. As soon as I arrived, I felt a wonderful reception from Emad, who was following the stages of my arrival first and foremost, and I found the place wonderful, amazing, and comfortable to the point that I rented an apartment in the Maadi area for settling there, however, I extended the stay in the hotel for three nights. The area is wonderful and the building I liked its style and at the same time its modernity and cleanliness and the dealing of the hotel team. In my free time, I will be there downtown in that beautiful hotel. Thanks to the hotel team who made me feel at home :)

I loved the tiny balcony off reception with chattering budgies and bright flowers hanging down - a true labour of love by Marco the manager. I also loved the bright pink Nefertiti shrine. Marco speaks great English and will arrange anything you need such as taxis at reasonable prices without any pushiness or uncomfortable overtones. He is delightful. You can walk to shops and browse the area, find a cafe etc. I had a fantastic lady taxi driver that Marco called when I went to Giza, she had great English and was very smart, we went on a felucca together rather than sit in a traffic jam. Such a treat as in these traditional cultures to get to interact with a woman is very rare and if you’re a female traveller it makes such a welcome change. I noticed Marco arranging a lot of stuff very efficiently for a German family and there seemed to be a group of female Arab guests too. So can probably serve most needs. They also arranged my airport pick up from the message I sent from home. You can trust them!

It seemed dark and deserted when I arrived very late at night, but you must have faith and go up to the first floor where you will find a glass door to reception. (It’s like a big old office building) English may not be spoken at night so just give your passport and your room will appear after a bit of admin time. You could be picky about peeling paint on the ceiling but honestly there were so many positives I loved the whole experience.

Very wide room with 3 beds and balcony. Right at the downtown, near Nasser metro station.

They only accepted cash. Bathroom floor is tilted wrong, and the water does not go out thoroughly and makes a swamp. They opened the window so dust and (many) mosquitoes had already come in. Downtown might be noisy for sensitive tourists.

The room is very nice and comfortable, WiFi is good, convenient location, easy to find, friendly staff

It took some time to convince the guy at the reception that I had booked and payed for the breakfast, but after that everything was perfect including the breakfast))
