The location is great as in a very active area. The room turned out to be better than expected for the price - but don't expect wonders as this is a hostel. The staff was great and extremely helpful - provided us the breakfast in dinner itself as we were supposed to leave very early in the morning. The room was small, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom was average. Really loved their shared area for eating.

The building in which this is located, seems to be sparsely occupied and doesn't seem to be in the best of health.

Best Hostel in Cairo! Ahmed and Hazem are the best receptionists I have ever come across. They are always ready to help you. I booked this hostel three times during my 10-day trip. They provided me with early check-ins and were always helpful with my travel-related queries. The breakfast was good, and the location is top-notch. I would definitely book here again if I visit Cairo in the future. Thanks a lot, Ahmed and Hazem, for all your help during my stay!

A nice place in downtown Cairo, close to the Ancient Egypt Museum and many shops and restaurants. The personal was very nice and helpful. We arrived at 3:00 am and they help us to get to our room.

The cleanliness could improve, the wc was leaking a little bit and the last day I saw 3 small cockroaches.

The staff is so welcoming and nice, they are there to assist you with anything you need. You'll most likely meet Khaled there - such a amazing guy. He made us feel at home, we really enjoyed our nights hanging out and having Egyptian coffee after long days. His S1panish soo good that no one in our group felt left out (hundred stars for him!). The location is great and safe, you can easily reach by bus from the airport.

We rented this room just for a couple of hours. We didn’t spend the night but i can say that the beds were clean. Customer-to-be’s gotta be aware of the fact that the bathroom is shared and is NOT very clean or newly decorated. No towels, no toilet paper, no napkin etc. The hosts were very friendly though and location is very close to National Museum

The building entrance and the elevator did not seem safe

The hostel was a bit hard to find as it was on the 7th and 10th floor of a building. The building itself was a bit dirty and old, however when you entered the hostel area's everything was much cleaner. The rooms where nice and the view from the common area's was actually mindblowing, we really did not expect such nice views in this price range. We booked only for one night because the next day we where leaving late in the evening, the hostel staff les us leave our bags and we were aloud to walk in and out and hang out in the communal areas (which was really really nice as Cairo is a bit overwhelming haha). Scooby was a really nice and helpful person. He recommended us great places to eat and it was fun to get to know him. If we would have stayed longer it would have been really nice to hang out with him more! Overall we recommend this hostel!

Good place to crash for the night. The staff was friendly, the included breakfast was decent and everything was reasonably clean. We also got in late and they accommodated us checking in around midnight. Great value overall.

Our room was nonsmoking, but the hallway smelled strongly of smoke every time we opened the door. The breakfast area is also pretty small, so we had to sit in the reception area to eat.

Our room was clean and comfy and included an AC - though it's not hot this time of the year, so we didn't need to use it -. The shared bathroom had all the basic facilities you need, no more, no less. The place is close to main attractions and public transport, so it is easy to get anywhere in the city from there. The staff was happy to help us in anything we asked. On the last day, we had to check out earlier than breakfast time. Arranging a pre-packed breakfast went quickly, without any hassle - obviously, we had to ask them the morning before -.

The bathroom would need somewhat more frequent cleaning, but it was acceptable. Also, the last morning, we ran out of toilet paper, so we had to use our own "backup supply". All the other days, there were two rolls, so it came as a surprise. Also be prepared that this place is in a very busy part of the city. The height of the building gives a bit of a distance from the noise, but those who need absolute silence for sleeping (we are not those people luckily), should look for someplace else.

A very attentive and generous staff. TV worked pretty well. I was given all sorts of facilities to stay there and protect my luggage after I did check out and before I picked up the transport to the airport.

It was OK according to Egyptian standards, really.
