Staying in the Jewel Zamalek Hotel was a very good experience, very friendly staff, very comfortable service, and very friendly stay. I had a good experience with the front desk staff Nada , Wala who was very friendly with a very charming smile . And on top of them I would like to appreciate the guest relation staff Rana Samir who I had a fruitful conversation with ,where I appreciate her knowledge in her work and the welcoming atmosphere, and finally I would like to mention Nahla Mohsin the quality control staff appreciating her support in all meaning.

Good location in Zamalek, with restaurants and shops within walking distance. Friendly staff and a decent sized suite, with a living room area and a dining table. Breakfast buffet had lots of savoury options, including omelettes made to your choice by the chef.

The swimming pool had swimming lessons and kids' swimming most of the time. There was one lane free - we only used it once as all eyes were on us. The pool tables and bowling alley were in a different building, with limited opening hours and an additional but low charge. Bedlinen was cheap and not that comfortable. Next to the flyover so a bit noisy.

Staff, location, price were all good. My room was actually a suite with a lounge room equipped with couch, tv, fridge, coffee table, kettle, tea and coffee. There were a few tv stations in English mostly news but one movie channel called Mix. The bathroom had a walk in shower which was roomy but the shower head needs to be changed to a larger one. You can't adjust the direction, so make sure you have the temp right before you turn on the tap. The separate bedroom was large and had a double bed, wardrobe, a safe, chest of drawers and a small ottoman, it also had air-conditioning. There was a small balcony, very noisy day and night, therefore not really useable for long periods. Everything worked well and there are lots of power outlets. Breakfast was good, special thanks to Khaled the chef. Very helpful and friendly person.

My only complaint would be the traffic noise from the street. They should invest in double glazing, it never stops even at 3am. I would stay again but book a Pool View room not a City View.

Well located in a nice leafy upmarket suburb of Cairo. Near lots of shops and restaurants. Short walk to Metro station if you plan on using it. Very clean and spacious room with separate seating area and balcony. Friendly staff. Great value for money. Would stay here again.

Slightly run down hotel although maintenance seems to be ongoing, painting etc. Some of the furniture in the room was a little old. Average breakfast. Rooms facing the road may be a bit noisy if you are a light sleeper but noise didnt bother me.

Location!! 10 on 10 !! ZAMALEK is a vibrant locality, you get various options, Indian,Japanese,Italian,Egyptian Koshary & many restaurants, dollar exchange everything within a stone's throw. A bit expensive but a very lively crowd in the evening. Great help from reception esp Mr.Ahmed, very helpful staff Customer friendly and flexible. My parents reached before check-in time , on request they managed to allocate the room without any additional cost.

1. Staff should at least manage basic english for communication. But they are very co-operative. 2. Out of the two rooms i booked, one was great but the other was average. 3. They must add an airport pickup facility.

Only the windows were not soundproof, so the sound of cars could be heard.

Everything was amazing, high standard service. From the receptionist to the whole staff of the hotel, they were all doing amazing and have an excellent costumer service. The room was fabulous, I felt very comfortable and relaxed. It’s very safe inside there and I can guarantee that 100%, from what happened to me. On Wednesday 24/01 it was my first day in that hotel and I’m pretty sure now that it won’t be my last time. Next time we come Egypt we will for sure book with you! Thank you for everything! That’s the place to be in the heart of Zamalek. High standard, comfortable and big rooms, spotless clean, good Egyptian/continental breakfast. Heated Olympic Pool - 24 hours open, amazing view from the roof. The friendliness, the welcoming atmosphere and the care of the employees from the security, the room service, restaurant over the reception team you will never find in the International chains here in Egypt nowadays. After 25 years discovering all over Egypt finally I found the place where you have to be. If you are a little noise sensitive it it worth to choose the quit rooms with pool view.

The hotel is great. Very helpful staff. Very pretty and clean.

Our room was facing the very noisy street, would be helpful if they installed soundproof glass

Position is central, many services available in the neighborhood. Breakfast has good choice.

Swimming pool generate some noise at night.
