It was a nice stay, the hotel is clean and quiet, staff is friendly and nice, the room was clean and tidy, bathroom is good and room is quiet too i didn't hear any noise and that's meant alot to me, and the best about the hotel is the location, downtown for my opinion is the heart of cairo and you can find many interesting places around without taking and transportations, enjoy walking by through the old streets and find interesting places around for food, cafés, bars.. Also prices of the hotel is reasonable which is a good point too.

The room was really small, toilet cleanness need to be improved and floor too, small pillow covers causing extra heat and need to be replaced with cotton ones. Also one extra important point for future Egyptian nationality holder guests, if your ID or passport shows that you resident in Cairo or Giza probably the booking will be canceled for security reasons, you must be a foreigner or living in another Governorate not in Giza or Cairo, because i was asked about that when i was checking in as I'm Egyptian and the receptionist Clearfield that information for me and luckily I was not a Cairo or Giza Resident.

The location was unbelievably perfect. You shouldn't book a hotel near the pyramids because that neighbourhood is much less safe and clean than the downtown. Furthermore, you can only visit the pyramids there, whereas there are so many other things to do in the downtown. Near the pyramids in Giza, you couldn't really just take a walk in the night because there are only a few stores open and you wouldn't feel as safe as in the downtown (there are dead animal bodies on the street etc). I'm not saying that you should definitely book this particular hotel but you should definitely choose one in the downtown (Tahrir square or Talaat Harb square are especially perfect choices). I can recommend this hotel wholeheartedly. If you have any questions (I'm saying this because I exactly know how stressful it is to find a trustworthy hotel in Egypt, I was extremely stressed before our trip too), just text me on Facebook.

Honestly, there wasn't any serious problem with the hotel. The most of the negative comments might be negative because people often rate the Egyptian hotels as if they were European or American. You need to know that there is a huge difference between these hotels and the Western ones. But relatively (among the Egyptian hotels), I couldn't imagine a better hotel than this one, in all aspects.

The room was nice and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the crazy and chaotic Talaat Harb intersection. While the access to the building where it is located may appear a bit worn and dirty (common in many areas of Cairo), once you arrive on the 2nd floor where the hotel is situated, all is well-kept and clean. The staff, particularly the bald manager, were friendly and helpful. They offer a simple but nice breakfast each morning.

Best accommodation in downtown cairo. Talaab Harb is the prime area where everything is walking distance including restaurant, shopping mall, museum and etc. The room is large with basic amenities provided such as refrigerator, comfortable bed and large bath room.

Elevator break down occasionally due to electricity ration by the government. Breakfast is average and dont expect much. I request for coffee and have to wait almost 20 minute but the servant came to me with different order which is Tea. I dont know what are the reason presumably due to lack of english understanding. Just my 2 cents.

- Very nice staff - I sent a parcel post and the receptionist received it without problems, calling me upon receipt. Very professional - One of the hotel employees speaks Italian very well (as well as English of course) and she is very kind, ready to help guests at any time, making them feel at home - Position is very good: hotel are close to the Egyptian Museum (5 minutes walking) and in any case with taxis (Uber in particular) from that area of ​​the city you can move very well. The airport is half an hour away and with Uber you spend about 3,50 euros.

Location is great, and very close to Tahrir Square, Museum etc. Buildings in Downtown Cairo are very old, so it was like living in a part of History. Since the buildings are 100+ years old, most don't have elevators, but luckily they had one and made our stay easier. We checked in earlier than the check-in time, and they happily accommodated us, and later transferred us to a bigger room when it was available. Hotel also provided print out of my Covid test report for free, which was a very nice gesture from them.

Since it is at the city center, traffic is audible quiet late into the night. Kitchen was not equipped with a micro-oven.

We had a great time at the hotel. It is a bit hidden in weird a building but once you arrive at the second floor the hotel is pretty normal. It is in a great location. The employees are nice. The room was great for a really cheap price. I recommend this place.

The only thing I can complain on is that they ask tourists to pay cash in dollars or euros but they don’t always have enough change in the currency that you paid in.

Breakfast was OK, served till late, not much variety but sustaining. There was a decent fridge in the room. This small hotel is placed on first floor with lift access above a very busy multiple intersection, where sounding one's horn is de rigeur. The window closure on our room could have been better to keep out noise of traffic and air-con units. It was 10 minutes' walk from the Old Museum, and very handy for western-type and other food outlets. Staff were very helpful and a supply of refrigerated drinks and chocolates was available in the lobby, prices variable. It did have a TV and we managed internet access, slightly hit and miss but generally OK

A kettle in the room and sockets near the beds would have been useful. The room we stayed in was rather dated, 1950's brown furniture &c but unpretentious. The room had three beds, one single and two three-quarter size which was a little small as a conjugal bed. The booking platform we used gave us the exact price, but I failed to realise I had booked on line but not paid, payment needs to be in western currency for non-Egyptian nationals. This got us off to a less than optimal start, but after checking my bank dealings I had to admit I was wrong and paid up with good grace.
