A great location for visiting the pyramids (just 20 minutes away) - and rooms with 'pyramid view' really do have a spectacular view of the Giza pyramids.

Other than being handy to both see and visit the pyramids - the hotel is not located near anything else (though this will change when the amazing looking new museum finally opens). There is nowhere to walk to or wander around. Food options are very limited. A buffet each evening - but with limited options, a bar menu, and that's about it. The travel desk was extortionate. For example - wanted US$100 to take us to the Cairo Museum and Coptic Museum - compared to the less than US$10 we actually paid Uber drivers to take us ...

A spacious room with a balcony and great views to the pool and the pyramids. It was lovely watching the sunrise and sit outside in the evenings admiring the view. The staff were friendly and made us feel welcomed. Special mention to Carima and Ahmed from the housekeeping team who made a special effort to make our room lovely and comfortable.

They could do with a coffee machine in the breakfast area so that we could help ourselves as sometimes we were waiting a while until someone served us coffee or tea.

It’s really close to the pyramids which are our only intention in Cairo so super convenient. We were super excited to see the pyramids from the balcony! Staff is friendly and helpful It’s quiet at night which we only realised and appreciated when we stayed at a different hotel (same area) that Cairo can be pretty loud at night.

It’s right opposite to the Grand Egyptian museum but we had a difficult time catching Uber since they have to drive all the way down to the roundabout to get to the other side of the road (you can’t walk to the museum it’s highway)

The staff were very helpful. The hotel foyer is very spacious. We booked a suite, which was big and had two balconies: one overlooking the pyramids and the other over the pool. The other rooms we booked were deluxe pyramid view, and they too were lovely. The food in the hotel buffet was very good with a wide range of choices for our family's differing dietary needs. A good location for accessing the pyramids.

The first night we ate in the Italian and the food was below average, so, not a good start, but the hotel buffet helped to redeem the experience. We did have a problem using the hotel's taxi service, as it was much more expensive than a non-hotel taxi. We shared whatsApp with George Bishara the hotel taxi driver, but when we returned home, he bombarded us with requests for money for a supposed heart operation. We found out that this was a scam. So beaware!

The location is great. Rooms are very nice. We stayed in the suite and it was spacious. Manar guest relationship manager was very helpful. She arranged everything . We asked. Staff is helpful. Our rooms opened up to pyramid and also swimming pool. I had asked them to arrange a romantic dinner for me and my wife and they did a great job. Charged 100 usd and it was seafood grilled 3 course dinner with lots of shrimp and fish. The also decorated the place next to the pool. The complimentary cake was too good.

Everything was great. Breakfast can be better. Like we stayed in Sonesta Luxor. The breakfast spread was so thoughtful.

The hotel is like an oasis in crowded and dirty Cairo. Breakfast and lunch/ dinner buffets very good.

Although close to the pyramids, access cannot be done on foot. As well as the new museum opposite, you can only get there by car (20-30 minutes), due to the fact that the highway passes and there are parapets, you have to go around a lot. All around is construction site and traffic. It takes 1 hour to get to the center by taxi. There is nothing to do around the hotel. Pyramids can be seen from the room, but they are quite far away. But if you want to stay in this area, it is the only option next to Mena, which is considerably more expensive. The other hotels around the pyramids look terrible.

A really lovely hotel in a great location. 10/10 for their wonderful customer service especially Manar & Deena who went out of there way to ensure we had a great stay. Bedroom very comfortable, good showers and stunning views of the pyramids. Hotel opposite the GEM, if you can brave the Egyptian roads you can just walk across!! Would definitely stay here again.

Our only downside was we booked a couple of things with external travel company they use, which was astronomically expensive, so felt a bit cheated here. I would source my own next time.
