Staff were excellent from main reception , house keeping, food and beverage, lifeguards, animation. The hotel was generally very well maintained and pleasing to the eye. Wi-Fi was very good in main hotel, including our room, not always the case in Egypt. Beach and sea were wonderful. There is an on-site aqua sports club. Breakfast buffet was very good . Special thanks to Rania and Mabrouk at the breakfast buffet , and Mahmoud who cleaned and supplied our room 541.

The odd smoker, we could smell , on our non smoking floor. We thought the room could do with a lick of varnish or paint. We used to walk out in the evening , on the Mamsha or promenade , to view and use the local restaurants and shops. On the down side, the local authorities have not maintained the pavements well on all sides , and the hotel is surrounded by unfinished or abandoned building sites. Maybe Marriott could contact the Red Sea Governor. On the bright side , this probably gave us a quieter time.

Right on the beach with its own dive center ! Makes it’s very convenient especially if you want to dive on your holiday . The massages at the spa are good too

There is a general problem in Egypt where they will over quote prices for services and then one has to negotiate like at the spa or dive center. Considering Marriott is an international chain - the prices should be fixed

The vast array of food offerings at meal times, as well as quality was really good. Location onto the beach was fantastic.

The island bar is a lost opportunity. It closes too early, an evening sundowner at the bar would’ve been really good, but it closed at 6.

The hotel overall is good with a good beach and sea view rooms. And the most exceptional thing is the staff (all of them) but especially Ms. Hagar (Guest Relations) and Mr. Mahmoud (Shorouk Restaurant).

We had an unforgettable honeymoon at the Marriott Beach Resort! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel incredibly welcomed and special. Our room was beautifully set up, with stunning ocean views and all the comforts we could ask for. The highlight of our stay was the surprise cake they generously provided to celebrate our special occasion—it was a sweet and thoughtful touch that made our honeymoon even more memorable. The resort’s amenities, from the pristine beach to the delicious dining options, exceeded our expectations. We enjoyed relaxing by the pool, exploring the beautiful grounds, and indulging in the fantastic food. The service was top-notch, with every staff member going above and beyond to ensure we had a perfect stay. Thank you, Marriott Beach Resort, for making our honeymoon an experience we will cherish forever. We can’t wait to come back!

Kids club team was dedicating with kids although more activity on the beach was preferred (e.g Foam party, Bubble party, Clown show, etc). All Hotel staff were amazing, helpful to a very high level.

Activity for adults was very limited, repetitive and not exciting….!!!

Very relaxed atmosphere. Staff were great. My room steward on 3rd floor, Mohamed was amazing. On top of his adventurous towel origami daily, he made sure we had everything we needed and went above and beyond to make our stay a wonderful memorable one. The 3 ladies in reception were also wonderful. For us, as 2 lady travellers, it is very reassuring to have ladies front facing, especially when it is often just men. They were extremely helpful and friendly.

Scraping the barrel I can only say location. It is about 20 minutes walk from the strip in a pretty quiet part of town. However the cost of an Uber to the strip is only about 70p and arrive in seconds. Do not touch the local taxis.

The staff were very helpful and the premises was very clean. Nothing was too much trouble. The beach and pool area was also very clean. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

Tea and coffee facilities in the room were OK. I like strong coffee, but there was never enough for two cups of coffee, but it was not an issue getting extra. I did not like the wooden sticks to stir your coffee. 5 Star should have proper Spoons. Also, I hate creamer for coffee - so asking for real milk came at a cost. Very minor issues, but again, thoroughly enjoyed my stay.

The location of the hotel is just awesome. The private beach and its tour services are really nice. I would especially recommend this hotel for the couples. The food was tasty and prices were not very expensive considering a 5-star hotel. So, you have a lot of enjoyable time. I didn’t really felt to leave the hotel as one can easily spend entire day here.

When I reached hotel then I found that the attached balcony lights, intercom services weren’t working. However upon calling the reception, they fixed in less than half an hour. Some of the staff members were not very courteous while others were really nice and friendly.

The indoor hotel staff was incredible—accommodating, kind, and attentive to our requests. I cannot praise them enough. Ahmed Lamey at the front desk was the epitome of professionalism. He immediately attended to our request for an extra night, showing remarkable attentiveness and accommodation. With a warm smile, he ensured our stay was excellent. A true Egyptian gem, he deserves a raise, as do all the outstanding staff I will mention below. At the buffet, Chef Abdel Nasser went above and beyond, who stood out with his humor and willingness to prepare extra food for us every night not listed on the menu. Mohamed Ashraf was very kind and thoughtful. Hisham was an exceptional server, polite, kind and attentive, bringing great energy to our table and doing a fabulous job with our drinks every time. Hamid was nice and provided us with extra towels every time which I definitely appreciated. Housekeeping Mahmoud was efficient, did a great job cleaning and was accommodating. My hotel room was clean, spacious and the view was gorgeous.

I was disappointed that the all-inclusive package was limited to only a few nonalcoholic drinks and no snacks on beach. Restaurants were not included in all inclusive package.
