My stay in Luxor hotel was very nice, I enjoyed it a lot. The staff was very friendly and polite, they always were ready to help. My room was clean, had an A/C, TV (some of tv channels was in English,from 660 to 700 mostly), fridge. shower. A/C sometimes didn't work good enough, but it wasn't a problem for me, I'm pretty sure hotel staff would have fixed it if I had asked for. There are a few beaches near, supermarket, cafes. The thing I like the most about the hotel is a terrace on the fifth floor. You can have a tea or even a hookah there while enjoying nice sea and city view. And again, many thanks to the personal, they were always ready to help. They offered different tours but weren't annoying. Thanks for a present you gave me too!

Only AC maybe, but as is said it wasn't a problem for me.

I had a great stay at Luxor Hotel. I stayed for 5 nights while spending time diving and was very satisfied with everything. The hotel is located in El Dahar which is in the old town, so there is little of touristic interest nearby, although there is a family beach along the waterfront a 10 minute walk away which charges 50 LE entry, around £2 GBP (most beaches in the area charge admission). There is also a cool English bar (Egyptian version of English rather, so actually very Egyptian…) called Dabbie’s Cafe/Old School close by, as well as “Hurghada City Center” about quarter of an hour’s walk - a large shopping mall with coffee bars, shops and a large cinema. Funny Divers next door to the hotel also offers well priced diving excursions which was very convenient. For h the price, the experience was great at the Luxor. The reception is stylish and comfortable, the staff are extremely kind and attentive (they often offered me mint tea), and my room was basic but had everything - a comfortable double bed, furniture and a private bathroom. The AC was good although did become a bit strong at times and didn’t seem adjustable, so I made good use of the bed blanket! There is also a nice roof terrace with sun loungers to use (albeit old rusty ones with paint which sticks to you…). I was able to order an airport shuttle through the hotel also for 200 LE.

If splitting hairs, it was occasionally annoying only having WiFi in reception, but it did mean I got to see the staff and their adorable hotel kitten! The bathroom could’ve been cleaner also, and once or twice the attention from the staff was a little overwhelming.

Very clean and sophisticated hotel, good air conditioner and classy overall. What I loved more is the staff, they were very nice and welcoming. I forgot my watch in the room and went back there two days later to find it wrapped and tagged by my name waiting for me.

We had an absolutely amazing stay in this hotel. We really loved the style of this place and our room was super spacious and lovely. We had a balcony with a view to the seaside - really amazing. The staff was also incredibly nice and helpful. One of the highlights is certainly the rooftop from which you can see the ocean and the city. We also enjoyed an incredibly good Egyptian breakfast up there! The hotel is located in the city center, to the market hall it takes about 5 min walk, 20 min to the airport by taxi. From all of our stays in Egypt (and we’ve been traveling there for quite a while … ) this was one of our absolute favourites. Really good value for money.

What did I like ? Location before all ! I choose this hotel because I know the area. It is a small hotel , yet IT HAS AN ELEVATOR !!!! After first night I asked for a room change and they agreed without any further demands. Staff was helpful and respectful ( even the owner ! ). Rooms are equipped with satellite receiver + TV set , fridge and air-con. Few english channels are available. Hot water is available anytime as well.

I'm a tall guy and found the bed to be a bit small for me to enjoy a nice relaxed sleep ( smaller individuals won't be having this problem ).

It is a modest hotel, we had a basic room (it was spacious) with bathroom. It was super clean!! There is a rooftop terrace with great view where you can spend time. The host is very nice. We thank again the kindness of Mr. Said!

To approach the sea you need to buy ticket (200 EGP) in one of the hotels with sea access.

We lived with our parents at the Luxor Hotel from March 5 to March 28. The room was large and clean, cleaned at our request. Bed linen and towels were changed regularly. Said, the director of the hotel, gave us a kettle in the room, for our own use. The hotel staff are friendly and very attentive to the guests. Many thanks to Said and Mohammed. The hotel has a beautiful view from the roof, you can sunbathe on the sunbeds or drink coffee at the tables. The hotel staff kindly treated us to tea and coffee. On the day of departure, we were called to transfer to the airport. Said stayed at the hotel until 01:00 am to send us personally and say goodbye. We express our gratitude for the excellent attitude and wish the hotel to have many regular customers!

For the price, Luxor Hotel in Hurghada is amazing... it's clean, freshly painted, has character, the staff is helpful. There is WiFi on the downstairs pattio and in the lobby. The breakfast is also very nice, with fresh vegetables, an egg, bread, meat, cheese, and more. They also have a rooftop terrace with distant seaviews.

If one expects a simple, yet comfortable and clean hotel, then I wouldn't have any negative comments. It would be great to have wifit in the room.

Nice room size, quiet, kind staff.

Air conditioning but no fan, so mosquitoes bothered me all night. Also no accessible beaches nearby, unless entering a resort for about the same price as the hotel.
