-Warm welcome, special thanks to Mohamed -beautiful western standards room -Contrary to some comments, hot water, various food, I loved especially the pancakes for the breakfast which were delicious. -the beach. Exquisite, now I know what a coral barrier reef looks like. For those who love snorkelling, the view under the water was amazing. -Sauna, Hammam, Turkish bath , massage -affordable price. -close to the center of Hurghada and close to the airport, I really recommend this place which is a little peace of heaven.

Very, very friendly, kind and helpful staff. They try to meet all your needs. They even let us stay much longer because of the late flight and didn’t charge anything for it. Spacious and clean apartment. The resort is very big and has a lot of facilities. Overall, very good quality for the price.

The WiFi needs improvement in the room. Weak signal compared to the WiFi in the reception.

We had a great week at Zahabia Hotel thanks to the hospitable staff. The Service at the reception, restaurant and for the room cleaning was amazing. The lunch and dinner buffet convinced with its wide selection of Egyptian local dishes. At dinner and breakfast there were always live cooking stations for meat and fish (evening) and pancakes and omelettes (breakfast). Although there is mainly internet in the lobby, the connection is very stable. The entire hotel complex is very family friendly with 3 pool areas with slides and a playground as well as the mini disco in the evening. The hotel also has a private beach area with sand and an extra access to the house reef, from where you can go snorkeling perfectly. The area for swimming has only a slight slope, so you can stand everywhere well. We treated ourselves to an extra spa treatment on our last day which was absolutely worth it. The two women have led us super through the "program" and the massage at the end was very soothing. All in all a great value for money and we will definitely come back again!

Very loud techno music in the evenings, not great if you try to put your kids to bed. there were two nice swimming pools but we couldn’t use them, because they weren’t heated and the water was very cold.

Very nice beach and the helpful staff, shisha bar was nice, big room with a sea view and large balcony, WiFi was acceptable.

Food needs to be improved.

Very nice place! Good location of the hotel in Hurghada (near Marina, fish market, not far from airport). Most of the staff are responsive, nice and kind. Beach has a very nice reef, you should prepare snorkelling set and underwater case for phone. To the way to the beach you may find very nice place with hookah, it’s very cozy. And there was the best hookah which we tried, and it costs only 4$. Food is always different (always fish/meat/chicken), not really fancy, but for 3* it’s really nice.

Only cold air conditioner (we had to sleep in usual clothes and two blankets but it was still cold). Some of the staff started talking about politics. Water in spa for drink has evident smell and taste of water that is in pool…

The hotel is conveniently located, can be easily reached for $3-4 dollars from the airport. The staff is multilingual and very helpful, all issues were solved almost immediately. Hurghada Marina is within walking distance, but you can also take a taxi for $1-2. The hotel grounds look neat and taken care of, the cleaning staff does a decent job in the rooms and creates wacky towel art on guests' beds :D. Both of the beaches were clean and peaceful, with clean sand and plenty of sunbeds (not too many people eager to swim in December). The coral reef on the second beach is simply magnificent, even though the sea is a bit cold, it doesn't matter after swimming for a couple of minutes. Hurghada is windy in winter, the nearby Sunny Days Hotel blocked some of the wind. This hotel is worth picking just for the amazing reef with its colourful fish and corals.

Hot water was switched off several times, and the water pressure was low most of the time. The food is not that great, with a little variety, you will most probably try to stuff your belly with cakes and bread to feel full or buy extra snacks. I've even had a minor food poisoning from the hotel food. Definitely not the best choice for picky eaters. Vendors and/or promoters were sometimes a little annoying at the beach, but understanding if asked not to disturb. Apart from the food and hot water supply, everything else was great for a not-so-spoilt traveller.

The resort and the beach are really nice, but pay attention that you have to walk couple of minutes to reach the hotel's beach. Staff was nice, especially Samir at the reception. We got good deals from the hotel for trips to Cairo, tour with the Submarine, and we've got some good offers for other trips too but we didn't go. We enjoyed a lot our stay there.

Don't expect too much food variety and good quality of drinks but is okay given the price we paid for our stay. If you ask for a transfer from the airport make sure that you remind them on the day of your arrival, we had our transfer booked and confirmed but they forgot about it. I suggest you to book your taxi directly from Booking it is so much cheaper.

A very pretty hotel with an amazing set of pools, bars and garden areas, also it has the loveliest beach ever, so much space and options to relax. And the water! You can snorkel in the bay right in front of the hotel and see hundreds of colorful fishes. The food was so amazing, even for me being vegan it was so easy to find tasty things. But the most important thing was the staff, I never met such lovely, caring and warmhearted people who made me feel like I'm part of their family. I felt like home and everyone was genuinely interested in my wellbeing. Also the animation team is just awesome, even without always participating in their program, I had so much fun with them and they added so much joy to my stay. I am incredibly grateful for that experience and will never forget my stay at zahabia beach. I hope I will be back some day <3

It's very common in Egypt that everyone wants to sell you everything, on the streets as well as in the hotel, as there are stores in the hotel and on the beach offering massages and boat trips etc. That can get annoying at some point when you want to be left alone. However I practiced my ability to say no in a polite but assertive way ;). If I would change anything about the hotel, it would be making sure that the people who sell things accept a no more easily and are less pushy.
