Beautiful apartment, excellent service from both the host and reception staff. Enjoyed my workout on the communal nearby sports pitch, where you can also play padel. Both the host and reception team were so helpful and accommodating - thank you! :)

It wasn't the owner's fault, but I feel Booking.com should show more transparently the $27 fixed cleaning fee, irrespective of how many nights you stay. It was only after placing the reservation that I noticed Booking charged this fee. Not significant if you stay a week or so, but i was only there for 1 night so that "hidden charge" made a delightful stay more expensive than I'd been expecting. Once again, not the owner's fault, who was fantastic and helpful, but something that Booking.com need to correct on their website to ensure ethical pricing.

Amr, the property manager is great. Very attentive, contactable via WhatsApp and lives in the area so quick to resolve any issues. This is a privately managed property within Azzurra, called Azzurra Oskena apartments. It has different perks than the actual Azzurra apartments. For example, gym is not included, though for 200 egp you get a day pass. Free shuttle to the beach on request available from approx 9:30 - 4pm, else walking is 17 minutes. If you have a towel you can just lay it out in the beach area where there’s no sunbeds (a bit of a no mans land area). Else, to use the sunbeds you have to pay around 200-400 egp depending on each beach, and whether they have an agreement with Azzura Oskena Apartments. Within walking distance, there is Jamaran pier. It is great for snorkelling and is free. There is a life guard that can rent you snorkelling gear (glasses, mouth piece and fins) - we were two and paid a total of 200 egp for the rental There are two restaurants nearby, and they both do room delivery. Interestingly it comes out cheaper than eating in as they don’t charge you service charge and don’t have delivery fee. My experience is that they take their time to cook so we opted for specifying room delivery and the time of arrival which worked great. Azzurra, Sahl Hasheesh area is very safe. The taxi drivers have to leave their license at the entrance every time they come in. Guests will need to show their passports the first time they arrive and show the “road” security. They will take a picture. Amr, will also ask for your passport pictures ahead of arrival. This is normal and a requirement from the government. For taxis you can use Uber, In Drive or ABC taxi (order via WhatsApp). Some ubers will try to haggle within the App which is annoying. There is also a massage service (same building as the gym) starting price $30 for 50 min. The balcony has mosquito nets TV screens are massive. Managed to use Netflix for two movies.

Beach towels aren’t included and they won’t provide you with any. You can use the rooms towels though - you get 1 big and one small towel per person Only 1 toilet roll included No cleaning service unless you pay; no change of towels Access to 1 pool is free (the rest are from other hotels). Towel is 50 Egp at the pool. Floor of the room was dusty but it’s likely due to the nature of being in a desert. Lighting in the living room is a bit dim Internet/ wifi is a bit slow but common in Egypt Electricity sometimes goes during the day. Not been a big issue for us

Beautiful accommodation and value for money. The area it's located In is very safe and is gated, meaning only those who live or work can enter. The building is located In Azzura, which gives you access to all their facilities such as one of many pools and a shuttle bus from the reception to the beach (9am to 4pm) for Free. After these hours, the accommodation can collect you for very small amount. There is shisha available at the hotel next door ( Zen Resort) which is probably the best in Hurghada. I would travel in the evenings to the main part of Hurghada ( Sheraton road) and the Marina.I always the App Indrive which was great. Do not use Uber as the driver will accept the job and then tell you to pay almost tripple and in GBP or Euro. For local rates, use Indrive. The accommodation itself is beautiful and clean. massive comfortable bed and their is a hairdryer, washing machine and even a coffee filter machine. My room has a great balcony and it's truly to a 5* standard. Mr Amr Eldek is the manager for the resort and he is a true gentleman and very helpful. He is always available on whatsapp and he is very welcoming. Thank you for a memorable stay and until next time.

Host were good, flat was clean specially bathroom and sheets, which most hostels should prioritize. beach was nearby .

1. Its way way far from the main city , so need to do Uber everytime. Its like 30km from the city. 2. The taxi or Uber business is a scam , which isnt their fault but just the ask for 10 euros for 1 euro of travel and need to hackle them . But in the end we understood how to tackle that and could uber everytime. 3. Prices in restaurant nearby were as or more expensive than europe. So may be because of Excellnt area and safe locality that was the case.

First off, Amr was wonderful. He helped us get settled in when we did not have an email that was sent. He was responsive when we called, greeted us when he saw us about the property, and made himself available any time we needed him. We will return because of how he treated us and we extended our stay from 3 nights to 8 nights because of how we were treated by him. Secondly, the property is in a great location, is a nice quiet place, clean everywhere, nice restaurants with good food. We enjoyed the town as well as the property. The town is where the beach is and we found that to be a nice way to spend the day. All employees were concerned about our needs and took care to make us comfortable.

The wifi was not as strong as we would have liked. Again, Amr was great helping us work through our issues.

The wifi Signal sometimes weak , u have to go to the beach by car or a golf car , azzurra beach is for the owners only but u still cam choose between other 3 beaches with discounts for Azzurra guests

The room is amazing, it is spacious, clean, has all the gadgets you need. I loved the lighting options in the room and bathroom, you have the choice of maximum brightness for visibility, in the middle lighting for the afternoon, or really delicate lighting for the evening and waking up mid sleep The room had its own steps from the back for accessibility. The pool was near. There are a couple of restaurant options as well as a mini-market and ATM nearby. We did not get a chance to take the shuttle to the beach, but we saw them come by frequently. There’s a paddle court available as well. Mr.Amr was extremely hospitable We would definitely go back

- I don’t like to pay 30€/day on « housekeeping fees » when actually no cleaning is done, if you want it you have to pay extra money for it, that’s a big no for me - you have to give a big some of money in cash for deposit that’s so annoying especially when you are at the end of the trip like us: this money is lost - no time to spend it, if we change currency when actually loosing money… - a bit far from Hurghada - pillows are way too much hard for us but this one is a personal taste - outside terrasses are very dusty so your laundry drying outside will be too unfortunately - cleanliness is average but like everywhere else it this country

1) The property was clean, very well decorated, came with all necesseties needed. There was air con throughout the appartment, which was needed as it was very hot. 2) The swimming pools were amazing ! Very deep pools (1.5 m in 3 pools and 3 pools were 1m deep). The pools were very clean and loved swimming there every day - it wasn’t crowded, felt like we had the pool to ourselves sometimes 😅 there are amazing views throughout the area. Could order drinks/food to eat near the main pool. 3) 24/7 security - VERY SAFE ! There is a bus that takes you to the beach (5 minutes away) and brings you back for no extra charge which was amazing ! 4) la rocca had amazing food with the best presentations (on the pricier side). There is also a little shop which has some items, if you need to buy things last minute. 5) you are given a card which gets you discounts at the beach. Normally it is 250 egp, with the card you get it for 200 egp per person. The beach is amazing ! Clear waters and amazing selection of food. Shimmers was a great place to spend the day at. Overall amazing stay and would come here again. Amazing view from the balcony and bedroom.

1) the apartment was on the 3rd floor - with no lift so it was very difficult to go up and down sometimes, especially if you have back or knee problems. (1 bedroom appartment). Also it was at the end of the compound, so around a 10/15 minute walk from the main gate of the area. 2) the wifi cut and was asked to pay for a top up, which was inconvenient as the appartment was advertised with wifi. I would advice you to get a sim card from the airport - we paid £13 for 45gb which will last you.

The apartment is perfect, very well decorated ; there is everything you need. The staff are very nice to us and the prices are very correct. The pools are superb, especially the largest with the bar next door. Personally we didn't have a taxi problem. If you give them your room number and QR code and go to the security post, everything will be fine. Personally we were in a very quiet apartment. Yes there is constructions not far away, many things are being built, but we were lucky to be far from them. There are mini bus to get to the beach (free). You can ask at the reception which will be indicated by signs. There you will find a bakery, a supermarket, a pharmacy, and other small shops.

However it will be good to have a notice to indicate how to get to the beach or the supermarket... Also know how many restaurants there are here etc. In fact, you would need a small map to know where the swimming pools are, etc. Fortunately we walked the same evening to go around and see what they offered because otherwise I thought we were alone and without help offered...
