You couldn't ask for a more central location. If you like being right in the heart of things, this is the place to stay - and far better located than the more famous (and expensive) Esplanade.

This is not a criticism of the hotel, really, but the building's exterior is truly ghastly, like some architect said "let's go for ultra ugly" and then felt he/she wasn't trying hard enough. But don't let put you off. The rooms are actually very nice.

Location is perfect also good food staff at reception are great 👍🏽 But I was so impressed with Martina I Restaurant at breakfast time her beautiful smile and happy face and communicating with us really made my day every morning well done Martina more places need that kind of stuff I only wish you could work in my business back home in Australia Well done Dubrovnik hotel to employed staff like Martin Hope one day she takes Charge and trains other staff how to behave Hope management see what asset she is to your businesses

The hotel turned out to be an excellent venue for daily journeys. It is on the south side of the main square, namely Bana Josipa Jelicica Square. There are two tram stops actually in front of the hotel thus an useful location for tram rides. Also there are good restaurants and shops around the hotel thus again an enjoyable sojourn.

The room, the location, the breakfasts, everything was 1st Class at this hotel and we would recommend to anyone. We would definitely stay here again. Parking whilst off-site was very convenient.

There was absolutely nothing we did not like about this hotel.

The location is Excellent, the room is bright, clean and comfortable, the room was prepared early, the breakfast is varied and delicious, The black female receptionist is very professional and friendly (upon check-out), The people working in the restaurant are professional and cooperative, everything was clear with the hotel's messages. We are happy with our stay.

The room lacks some things such as a water boiler, tea, and coffee maker .

The location is perfect, very central and comfortable, everything is minutes walk away. The main square and very nice strip of restaurants are max 5 minutes walk away. The taxi cannot drop you at the hotel entrance as it is pedestrianised but the drop off is less than a 2 minute walk away around the corner. Breakfast is great and vast. Hotel rooms are good sizes and nice well thought out bathrooms. Bathrobes and slippers included!

Hotel staff were extremely polite and professional but were not extending any extra information on what to do, where to go/eat/visit etc which is always helpful and useful tips are always welcome. We were going to a very annoyingly expensive plaza to eat for the 1st 2 nights and later discovered a lovely, more local and touristy affordable strip on the 3rd and 4th night, 2 minutes from the hotel with great restaurants and food.

Please note that you cannot drive to the hotel as it is already in a pedestrian area. There is a nearby parking lot, which however is not very easy to find. The hotel did not communicate tha parking issue at all.

Location, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom and toiletries. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Asked for ice in the evening and was promptly served. Check in/out process was smooth and efficient. I was asked did I want a room facing possible noise. This was thoughtful.

Grubby carpets and just looking tired and in need of a freshening up. Some furniture was peeling. Mini bar very expensive compared to other hotels. The staff during breakfast do not smile.. it’s like they’re on a mission. One cracked a smile when I made a joke about staff not smiling.

Great location convenient for exploring upper & lower town area.

Our room 446 didn’t have hot water a couple times, once in the morning but after the a call to reception who told me to run the water even longer than I had already done. The other time at abt 5:30 pm when I ran the water for at least 15 minutes resulting in no hot water. Hot water finally became available abt 7:30 pm. The other issue was a very worn out recliner chair. The wonderful reception manager offered to replace the chair but it never happened, maybe because it was a national holiday weekend. Both the room & bathroom are large which we enjoyed.

This is an excellent hotel among my Europe trip hotel stay. Staff is very friendly, room is clean with a comfort bed. Location is pretty good, a lot of the variety cuisine restaurants surrounding in the hotel area. There is a korean restaurant within walking distance too. Breakfast are nice and yummy. Definitely will stay here again if visit Zagreb next time.

Limited socket point due to 1 socket point near the window area is not functioning. The room is not evenly bright due to most of the light being located at the room entrance area. This cause the other part of the room look darken even with all lights switchd on, especially when 1 of the socket is not function and cause the stand light could not be switched on.
