The employees are always the kindest and most helpful people! D’Sean, Tami, Ivan, the evening desk gentleman were all wonderful. We keep coming back because of the great service more than anything else.

My husband hates paying for parking. I think the sausage patties at breakfast need to be upgraded to a better brand. There are other brands of frozen sausage that have been cooked nicely and actually browned before being frozen. The sausage patties served at Hampton Inns are grey. They are pretty unappetizing.

Great breakfast. 30min to everything downtown, La Jolla, airport, etc. but it’s open highway. Clean.

My negative comments should not deter you from staying here—just be aware. Very very thin walls and ceiling. You can hear everything around you so sleep with the tv on or you will hear your neighbor have “fun”. If you leave garbage outside your room it will stay there all day until you ask someone to come get it—even if housekeeping has been on your floor for hours. One guy was cleaning a room and he was reluctant to empty the trash because he said I should have called downstairs and someone else was supposed to do it.

I chose the hotel for its location. It is located in a rather quire area, which I liked. Also, great that the breakfast was included. The WLAN worked very well and was fast.

If I should find something that could be improved, it would be the price. 185US$ is a bit at the high end when you consider the value you get incl. where the hotel is located.

We’ve stayed here over 5 times because we have family in Poway. We have never been disappointed. The staff was particularly helpful this trip, making what could have been a complicated issue very easy. We always enjoy the waffles!

Everything was very clean, but the bathroom was not impeccable.

We stay alot and the breakfast is hit and miss depending on who does breakfast. 1 day the eggs and potatoes were over cooked. Next day the eggs were over cooked. Oranges werent very appealing

There were plenty of trip hazards. From an uneven walkway coming in from handicap parking to carpet squares in the room that were lifting. I don’t like that you have to beg for housekeeping at over 200.00 per night.

Hotel is always clean. We’ve been staying only here when we are in the area. Front desk employees are always friendly and polite.

The pillows are small squares and not comfortable. The pet fee is too expensive. There’s a parking fee.

Cleanliness and safety was very important to me and this hotel provided both of those things!! We will use this hotel every time we visit the area!

Diego was at the front desk when I arrived> He gave me a choice of rooms and was very helpful. Held a great conversation on my trip and provided a genuinely warm greeting. When I returned later in the evening he greeted me by my name . 5 star experience thanks to Diego!!!!!
