The hotel is nice and it has a very good location if you want visit Venice. There is a bus stopping right in front of the hotel and it goes all to way to Venice (it takes about 10-15 minutes to go to Venice). The restaurant is good, the staff is nice, there is a big underground parking with plenty of space to park your car. The hotel is close to the highway and the access by car is very good.

The power supply was interrupted multiple times during our stay, probably it was just a temporary situation because of the heavy rain. The check in is quite long, it took some time for the receptionist to enter the information on the PC. The area of the hotel is ok, but it doesn't seem to be so populated, so I am not sure it is absolutely safe to walk during the night, so we took the bus all the time when we went to Venice, which is quite fast and ok.

The hotel is easy to find, it is located on the road and the bus stop is right in front of the hotel (about 7 minutes by bus to Venice). The bed and bedding are very comfortable!

Keep in mind that the hotel is quite old, which can be seen on the walls and the floors in the room. We felt that the toilet could have been cleaned better. Parking at the hotel is paid extra.

Modern,airy hotel far enough away from the airport to be very quiet. Not a huge mega size hotel as I had anticipated. Compared to the other "airport hotels"in Venice, this one is the most attractive and modern .Staff was very helpful with travel questions and arrangements. Large comfortable restaurant which looks out on the pool area. Conveniently located on the main bus line into Venice used by many tourists. Rooms were quiet and adequate motel size; bed and linens comfortable (king size beds!-hard to find in Europe!) Fee based shuttle to airport convenient and slightly less expensive than a taxi. Room rates are very reasonable priced and you can take the bus which stops outside directly into Venice in 15-20 minutes.

Despite having a pool, would have benefited from a shaded outside patio seating with chairs and tables. The restaurant needs to extend its hours to conform to people arriving at all times of the day and evening and offer more variety by offering specials each night. Views from rooms facing away from the street while quiet, are quite unattractive and would benefit from a line of trees across the back of the hotel.

I booked the Hilton Garden Inn as I wanted a modern comfortable hotel. It's location was great. We got straight on the number 5 bus from the Airport for €10 each and the bus stop was right outside. Each day we got the bus into Venice which was approx 10-15minute bus journey. We bought a 48hr travel card from the hotel which let's you use any bus or water taxi service. Buses run every 15-20 minutes throughout the day and evening so we never had to wait too long. Breakfast at the hotel was a continental style with cooked breakfast also. Dinner menu doesn't change so we ate there the first night but out in Venice the other nights. On our last day our flight was late afternoon so we checked out, we could leave our baggage in their baggage store and used the Garden Space spa facilities for a couple of hours before collecting our bags and heading to the airport. For the journey back we used the hotel shuttle service which was the same price as the bus would have been.

Nothing to not like.

Great hotel if you need a pool to jump in after sight seeing in a hot city this is a great choice. Rooms are large and clean, bar area comfortable space, restaurant served a good choice of food all delicious. Everything you would expect from a Hilton.

Although this hotel is a 10min taxi journey from Venice, it takes you into the bus station area of Venice which is then another 40min walk into St Mark Square or a 35min water taxi journey down the Grand Canal. So something to consider when booking. Location to the airport though is great as only a 10min taxi journey. Reception staff could do with being a bit friendlier.

Hotel good location for bus transport. Very clean and the hotel restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. Reception staff helpful and informative with information about the area/buses etc. Breakfast was excellent with good choices available. Had dinner in the hotel most nights as no other restaurants near at hand and after been out all day in Venice was convenient to stay in the hotel.

Menu in restaurant was the same for most of the week, could have had a few changes daily to suit if having to eat in hotel every evening.

Location: Easy taxi ride from the airport. Superb location for bus ride into Venice central, and bus tix purchased simply from concierge desk ALSO works on all WATER TAXI! €20 shuttle ride for my son and I to the smaller train station for our trip to Florence. Service: Erica and Manuel were top notch customer service at HGI VENICE MAESTRE, assisted with laundry, bus tix, restaurant recs, shuttle reservation, train info (including pointing us to correct and less stressful station to go to via hotel shuttle). Loved it so much my son and I chose HGI Fiumicino Airport for our stress free final night as we have an early morning flight to catch! Food: breakfast and dinner, fantastic food. Pricier, but we pay for convenience, quality, and freshness. We had steak, salmon, eggs, bacon, the most amazing fresh breads, and wonderful serving staff. Laundry and Ice! Hey hey, pricey to do laundry but the washing machine does detergent and softener automatically. After traveling for 7 days it was perfect to wash all laundry (I did it at 4am as only ONE WASHER AND DRYER). And we r headed home tomorrow and did not suffer for clean undies’ LOL. Nor did we have to use our sink soap! And ICE in our water bottles ALWAYS! Miss cold drinks sooo much. Little luxuries, not life threatening. Rain/Pool/Mosquitoes: ONLY real complaint was windows open in common areas (halls etc) to cool building (totally understandable) but with so much rain/standing water the mosquitoes were an issue. We did not use the pool area at all even when was sunny enough. We did not feel any loss on that. And we had PERFECT weather (rain fell but did not affect us) for all our days in Venice. Just laundry price €8/small load and only one washer and one dryer (but the niceties of clean laundry? Priceless, right?) and mosquitoes (HGI has no control on that unless they are allowed to do spraying like the USA does for west nile virus control).

The hotel had everything you need for perfect stay. Wonderful rooms, facilities and pool. Staff were great, very welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Nicola on the bar and Marta in the restaurant we’re wonderful. The location is nothing amazing to look at however, it’s perfect for getting into Venice. Bus stop literally outside the door and you can purchase your tickets from reception. Less than 10 minutes into the city. Would definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay again.

Lovely hotel ideally situated just a short bus/tram ride into the heart of Venice, centre of Mestre or Marco Polo Airport (public transport is cheap, clean, frequent and air-conditioned). Clean and spacious bedrooms and a wonderful outdoor swimming pool set in lush green gardens. Staff were very friendly and helpful and spoke fluent English. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again without question.

Restaurant menu wasn’t typically “Italian” instead having more of an international vibe. This meant we ate out every night.
