I liked everything about this hotel. The level of service and friendliness of staff impressed me the most but everything else was also top-notch. Breakfast was delicious Japanese fare (I think they also offer American-style but I didn't partake), the room was very comfortable and the location was good for me and my plans. Yeah, I reckon I'll stay here on my next visit to Matsuyama.

The only aspect of this hotel that was a bit of a bother to me was getting there from JR Matsuyama station. This is not the hotel's problem but mine. I dscovered that, by Iyo-tetsu train, the best route is #1 tram heading north from JR Matsuyama and the hotel is quite near Okaido station. Fare is JPY200 per person (100 for kids)

Hotel is adjacent to a shopping mall in downtown Matsuyama. Had a good nights sleep, quiet rooms. Tram station nearby to get to sightseeing Dogo Onsen, Ropeway to Matsuyama Castle only a few steps from the hotel. Very nice place to stay to discover Matsuyama and surroundings.

Directions to Annex Building not very clear, found it after short search. You have to go down to the lobby and up to the breakfast room on the top floor.

Location was perfect, room was very comfortable and clean, great bathroom, very comfy bed. Staff were very friendly and attentive.

There’s really nothing to complain about, it’s just personal preference stuff that is nit-picking. I’d definitely come back to this hotel again. Breakfast seemed expensive so I opted to get food from convenience store a few doors down or go to one of the nearby cafes. Might not be considered expensive by others, though.

This hotel is very centrally located in Matsuyama, and everything is in easy walking distance. There is a large department store next door that has a food hall in the basement with lots of options for eating. The staff were great, and had even set up our luggage that we'd sent ahead in our room for us. The bar on the top floor has gorgeous views of the castle. Our room was compact but functional.

the hotel is located amongst multiple other hotels in the area and is thus close to bus and tram stops, and is close to various shopping and dining options (including two family marts within a 5 min walk from the hotel). the rooms are compact but the amenities and complementary items were a nice treat. the private bathroom was surprisingly spacious in comparison to the photos provided. staff were also very kind and helpful in answering questions i had about transport.

It's location relative to Matsuyama Castle and Dōgo Onsen. Good deal. Standard international chain hotel. Very nice staff in restaurants and bar.

Poor knowledge of English of staff. Room small if in single room.

The place was right in the middle and a lot of us stayed there at the same time, for a karate function.

Didn't have some sort of communal pool or bath where I could relax. Also the breakfast was a lot of ¥.

Everything I guess 😁. Staff - They are so accomodating and embodied the omotenashi, excellent japanese customer service. They are all pleasing and friendly. Kudos to the staff who makes me smile when I forgot my room number. Room- Since I choose single ocupancy, the room space was just enough and I can still move around and drink coffee on the mini table. Bed - I think they have a memory cushion and pillow. I had a quality and undisturb sleep. I sleep like a baby. Bathroom - They a lot of stuff for toiletries and I like the ofuro. Squeky clean and you feel too comfy. Best part, they have option for great sleep. A kit compose of bathroom soak powder, sleeping masked, Tea packs. All are aid for sleeping. I truly value this because I had sleeping problems.

Everything was to my satisfaction. - staff very friendly and helpful - wifi excellent - location convenient - mattress, as always in Japan, nice and firm - quiet - bath aromas, teas and choice of pillow for a good night sleep was a lovely addition
