Great location, plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. Comfy rooms well equipped. Staff were brilliant great senses of humour and happy smiling faces. Really helpful with directions, things to see and do.

City centre location meant it was noisy late at night. Drains were a bit windy first thing but overall great.

Perfect location, lovely staff, room on the small side but adequate for 2 nights. The person on reception was lovely and very helpful, sorry didn't get her name. We had breakfast on the last morning and it was very nice.

There was building work going on right outside the hotel, also a nightclub across the road which stayed open till 7am! so being at the front of the hotel it was a bit noisy. The hotel was being renovated so communal areas were a bit off a mess. Rooms definitely need updating.

The art decor themed rooms, and public places in the hotel are very well done and give the traveler a taste of the 1920's. The location of the Hotel Cosmopolitain on Rue Gamebetta is excellent as this is only 150 meters from the beach and has a variety of cafes, galleries and shops. The bar of the hotel Cosmopolitan is an ideal place to seat with a drink and watch the world go by. Breakfast is also served here and was quiet impressive. The staff were very helpful

Certain areas of the bathroom are looking tied and could do with more maintaine and re groating of tiles.

Very welcoming,friendly staff. Centrally located for main town. Clean and tidy apart from some carpets - see below! Good choice for breakfast on Sunday.

Carpets outside bedrooms in hallways desperately need replacing as are very marked and look dirty- even if they weren’t! Lots of noise early morning and late evening from the apartments next door. Not such good choice for breakfast on Monday.

Convenient location with parking nearby at the Place Bellevue, cafés and restaurants further up the Rue Gambetta, and the seafront only a few minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel facilities were good and the staff were very friendly. The hotel has been decorated in an art deco style which we liked.

Considering we were over a bar, the room was quiet. We had a corner room with a nice view of the street. While we didn’t have breakfast , I had a great tomato-basil-mozzarella salad one day for lunch. Considering how difficult it is to get a. decent room without paying a lot, I think we did rather well. Very clean and good staff. It was a good location between the beach on the Atlantic side (you have to go down a bunch of steps to get there) and the more placid cove beach toward the west where there are many restaurants on the street to choose from. Note the cove beach has small stones getting into the water.

The host Meave was just the happiest host, ever helpful and all the staff took plenty of time to chat and make us feel welcome. Such a cosy, warm and funky hotel with beautiful interior to the rooms too. The perfect central hotel in Barritz just opposite the most delicious Basque gatteaux bakery ,shops with only minutes walk to the beach .I felt it was very reasonably priced to for such an upmarket area.

The toilet is in a cupboard! Parking awkward and expensive. Bedroom window opened on to an area of water which produced lots of insects.

Very pretty hotel in an excellent location, right in the middle of everything. The room was a charming mix of old and new furnishings, and the wifi was very fast: I had to participate in two MS Teams meetings during our stay, and the connection was great!

The parking situation was a little confusing. We were told that we needed a badge to park in the nearest garage and receive the hotel’s discounted rate, but we never received one and had to pay full price.

Nice hotel, clean and friendly personel. Didn't take breakfast, but it sure smelled nice. Parking right in front of the hotel if you are lucky, with payment of course. Otherwise, there's an underground parking couple of 100m further.

The air-conditioning in the room seemed to be not working properly. But it was very hot during our stay...
