We stayed in the room in the attic and while initially I was a bit apprehensive it turned out to be a good choice. Beds were very comfy - roller blinds on outside of window kept all the light out so enhanced our sleep. Very quiet.

Downside - the bedside lights were positioned too far from the bed - Seperate tolilet with no washhand basin so when you went to toilet you had to then go across and wash your hands in the bathroom. Lifts very small not suitable if you had a lot of luggage. No atmosphere in the hotel , reception and lobby area very dark and dingy with a funny smell.

Our room was located facing the central courtyard/roofs of buildings which suited us fine as it was nice and quiet.

We did not like the 'free drinks' in our bar fridge that was offered for the first night. When we arrived in our room the two beer bottles in the fridge were in fact empty! We ordered more and they did arrive promptly which was terrific. However, free drinks for the first night.... come on, 2 beers! What was I (a female) supposed to drink? I think a small bottle of wine should also have been supplied.

Perfect location, flat within the hotel which is good for a family with young children, 3 balconies with ocean view, friendly staff.

Tiny lift so ended up walking up 5 flights of stairs many times a day which is good for me but might be difficult for older clientele. In the flat toilets no facilities to wash your hands, need to walk through the main bedroom to the bathroom.

The hotel couldn't be located better, only a couple of minutes walk from the beach, shops, restaurants and Les Halles market. Our fifth floor room was comfortable, cosy and clean. The small balcony overlooks the Place Sainte Eugenie and the sea, giving a nice view of the huge waves rolling in. The staff are friendly and helpful. We'd definitely stay here again.

The room was very small and simple but the Juliette style balcony overlooking the sea and the very buzzy square with a random musician at night was so atmospheric it was worth it indeed. The staff at the desk always super friendly and in particular Sonya who, when asked, nothing was a problem.

For a small room the chair creating a desk is not necessary in fact it is an interruption to valuable space. And there are 2 chairs on the balcony. But once again when we asked Sonya it was removed for our stay.

Location is amazing, super central. Staff were very friendly and helpful - looked up best transport options and routes for various day trips to help me plan. Room was cleaned daily and always spotless.

Wonderful town. We drive back from Portugal and stay 4 nights. Hotel Wonderful location, great fish restaurants. Fantastic daily markets. Great fish. Friendly hotel. Lovely view. We’ll be back next year.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The location is incredible. Close to shops, cafes, restraunts and two beautiful beaches. The balcony was excellent too.

Noise levels are high. The air conditioning unit was loud. The walls between rooms are so thin that the snoring neighbour kept me awake all night. Then the hustle and bustle outside starts very early and the bin trucks are also very loud.

Location is perfect. Rooms small. Breakfast was good

Expensive. They advertise a room mate that was much cheaper than what we paid via booking.com site. Room was small. Sea view is side on

Hotel Florida is in a great location right in the heart of central Biarritz, handy for restaurants, sights and the beach with superb views.
