Our stay at the Terminus hotel was ok for what we needed which was to be directly across the road from the station to catch train back to London early next morning. When we arrived to room smelt of cigarettes so we left the window open all day to get rid of the smell. The room was clean although saw dust around the ledges, the bed was very comfortable, staff were very polite. We Would stay there again if we needed the train early next day. In all the hotel served a purpose for our stay.

Diego and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. This was a 'railway hotel': nothing snazzy, just effective, clean and comforable - and brilliantly close to the station. The lift only started at the first floor and was somewhat elderly - but Diego without question carried our heavy suitcases to the lift. For a one night stopover, I thought this hotel was precisely what I wanted. A more than acceptable breakfast as well

Excellent location, easy to access almost all of the key tourist spots of Marseilles. A very warm welcome at reception, very helpful at all times. Free safe in the room, superbly comfortable double bed and a very spacious shower. Very close to the main railway station so really easy to access trains and the buses from the rear of the station (out to the airport).

Very little. Anyone with mobility issues might find the one-person lift a bit challenging… we asked for a quiet room and it was exactly that, but the compromise is the lack of view. I would rather have the quiet night though! The only challenge is accessing these rear-facing rooms requires a climb up one flight of stairs to reach the lift, and that might be a challenge.

Perfect location if you are travelling by train and need to be near the station, a short walk to the port and old town. The room we had (501) was over the courtyard and lovely and quiet with a balcony - staff helped us with our bags to the lift. Big shout out to Colleen - your welcome was fantastic!

Could do with new pillows and working fire alarms but apart from that it was great. Be aware, the area itself isn’t really safe so travel in pairs and be aware of your surroundings. If you have a bus booked before the station doors open you’ll need to catch a taxi to avoid walking through a dodgy park.

We didn't hear any noise from the street. Breakfasts were ok. We appreciated the location just next to main railway station, because we travelled to another city.

There is an elevator, but only for one person and one luggage at the time. For somebody with lot of luggages or someone older the way to the room could be difficult. It's good that you can jump into the train or bus or metro just few metres from the hotel. At the same time you really don't want to stay around Saint Charles because it doesn't feel comfortable.

Really enjoyed my stay here, the room and the bed were very comfortable. A big plus is the air conditioning! The staff was super friendly and helpful, the lady at the reception kindly gave me a different room when she saw I had lots of luggage, so it would be easier accessible for me. The hotel is right next to the train station - perfect when you need to catch an early flight.

staff took my case up to lift and room was clean warm and properly equipped. The help from the staff was worthy of 5 stars they looked after me and i hope you look after them

Could you be a bit more generous with the tea and coffee provided in room. They gave me more but i had to get dressed to go down to reception to get it

Though well worn, the hotel offers good value in a very convenient location. We were accommodated with a late booking after other plans did work out for us.

There can be a lot of noise from the street. But it's a trade off for having accommodation beside a busy train station.

The staff at the front desk were really helpful. We arrived before the check in time and they locked our bags in a room and informed us about the situation of our room for us to come back. The overall comfiness was good. The location is very close to the train station and bus terminal

The rooms and elavators were small. It is impossible to fit in an elavator as 2 people with backpacks. (1 person 1 luggage / 3 people). The neighbourhood was not particularly “safe” but that might be an overall issue with Marseille :D

I like the location - the famous escalier de la Gare St. Charles is across the street and on the top of the hill the railway station with efficient buses to/from the airport. It is probably the only hotel in Marseille which doesn´t take money in advance from the customers. It was my third time stay this year here and I got better room for the same price which I appreciated a lot.
