Since we were on a budget, we were looking for an apartment with a kitchen to be able to cook our meals ourself, so we booked the studio. We weren’t expecting the confort we found here: the room was so well taken care of that it felt more like a quality hotel room. The place is simple but very clean; the bathroom had a really nice bathtub; the kitchen is equipped with everything it needs for cooking meals that aren’t too fancy - it even has a dishwasher! The location is great for reaching Place de la Comédie by foot, but it also has a tram stop just in front of the entrance; the area seemed really quiet and safe. If you need, there is a baggage storage service offered for free to guests. The personnel at the reception is also very kind. All in all, the price/quality ratio is amazing. If ever travelling to Montpellier again, we will definitely be back!

If I really had to list something, I would add a second chair to the table, since we were two guests and we were using the table to eat. Also, I’m not a great fan of the toilet separated from the rest of the bathroom, but I suppose it’s pretty common in France.

The appartment was clean, spacious and in an excellent location (just in front of the tram stop and very close to the city centre). The stuff was very polite and willing to provide us with whatever we asked. Also, although we did not pay for breakfast, they told us we can have coffee in the morning for free. In general, staying at this hotel was an excellent experience and I would definetely choose it again if I come back to Montpellier.

For a short stay this is was a good choice . and yes as others mentioned the rooms might need a brush up, we were staying in a superior Studio and some things looked a bit worn- even though it was renovated (doors. kitchen e.g.). The room was clean and spotless so I am referring more to cosmetic updates. I would definetly recommend it for a 1 to 2 nite stay: the staff is really friendly and helpful and the location in Antigone is interesting in itself(you might have the chance to see more than the old city center of Montpelier) and the room itself was ok. Actually with a little brush up this could be a great place to stay. Positive too: the tram stops right in front of the Hotel.

Nothing! Personally I got what I expected - a business Hotel a short walk off the main city center ... That was exactly what was proposed - so people complaining should check available pics for the hotel and read the revenues.

Position is just perfect. The area is nice and quiet, and the tram line runs just outside the door. There is also a nice covered market on the other side of the door for you to get something fresh to eat or cook. Parking is abundantly available. The cleaning staff deserve a raise. The room was just perfectly clean down to the small details.

The room's furniture is generally ok, but there are some appliances that will start to beg for retirement soon. The thermostat worked in a funny way and only allowed a choice between arctic cold and sun surface. I am perfectly aware that it is a cultural thing, but having the toilet bowl in a separate room the size of a wardrobe, located opposite the rest of the bathroom, is quite weird. We got two single beds pushed together instead of a double bed. That would have been fine, but it was quite strange that they didn't use double bed sheets to hold them together. Instead, they decided to use two sets of single sheets. This way, we kept having the recurring issue of a gap forming between them.

Breakfast was great, not too many choices but everything on offer was fresh and tasty. The bedroom had a great size, and mine had a balcony. I loved the fact that we had an iron, ironing board, small kitchen and space to eat. The location was wonderful... short walk from the main square, 5 minutes from Gallerie Lafayette, felt quite safe... Everything was great!

The parking is quite difficult for a large car, bur if you're a good driver you won't have a problem. The air conditioning wasn't strong and we had a very hot day, but we still managed to sleep well.

The location was ideal and safe, check-in was easy, room was comfortable, 24 hour coffee/tea was a treat. All but one staff member were exceptional. We selected the most basic room. It served us well. However, if you would like more space, the next level of room would be more suitable. There is a market across the street and public transit right outside the door. Public transit to the airport is very close, 10 minutes by foot. Easy to walk to the centre of Montpellier. Would stay there again.

The location was very good for the centre and the station. Our studio was very large and comfortable and it was nice to have a terrace overlooking the central area. There was also an outside area to sit and relax in, which was good.

There wasn't much open around the hotel in the evening, as the area seemed a little more residential. Cafes and shops seemed to close quite early.

very convenient location with a market across the street and a huge shopping center nearby and a very lovely architectural esplanade adjacent. Bakeries and take out restaurants nearby. Very nice garden. Hot beverages free 24/7. Apartment provided excellent bathroom with separate toilet. Private bedroom so one could sleep in while the other was up and about. Balcony with chairs and table. Kitchen well kitted out. We did not pay the extra 25E a day for maid service but the maid was great about providing dishwasher tabs and waste basket bags on request. And for 5 nights we didn't need maid service -- there were ample towels provided. (no washcloths but that is standard in Europe and we just forgot to throw them in the suitcase; I bought a couple at the nearby monoprix)

Living room not very comfortable with uncomfortable furniture including cigarette burn on the chair. Dishwasher did not get dishes clean. Evening desk clerk agreed to arrange cab for morning run to train station but failed to do so. Luckily when the cab didn't arrive, we still had time for the morning clerk to call and get a cab. If I had not built in extra time we might have missed our train. I don't know where the error occurred. I saw the night clerk record the request, but the morning clerk had no evidence of it.

Excellent location and felt very friendly, safe place to be. Garden area also great, and although we didn’t have breakfast here, it looked good to me. Tight but secure car parking was also available to us, directly accessible from reception. Would have loved to have been here for longer.

Not much room to put personal belongings, which wasn’t a problem for us as we only had a small travel bag each. Also no charging points other than on close to the floor level- one was under the table!

A lovely property with plenty of open space

We couldn’t quite work out how to use the induction cook top. Therefore we couldn’t cook during our stay. Instructions for both the cook top and washing machine would have been helpful. The washing machine functions were in Spanish on the machine making it impossible to translate. Also the rear porch light doesn’t work and some windows and doors to the property don’t lock.
